Ok well the other pagan board got zapped so I thought that I would make this one....

....Well first off pagan is such a broad term so I am going to use my definition which is all those religions or faith that are non chrisitian, jewish and islam.

We are not people that worship the devil....we just believe differently than others.  I open this board to all those that want to enter.  It is not a place to convert pagans to other faith but a place to come together and learn and talk.

It you would like to ask something than feel free too.

Thank you and my the mother and father keep you safe.

Hello

My name is charise and i am what many would call a pagan...but my chrisitan husband just calls me his wife. LOL

I have a strong faith that well has always been with me i just haven't tried to understand it before.  I am still learning many of things about all the different religions that fall under the name pagan.  Not that I can say that i love that name because movies and books have made it into a bad thing.

I will try my best to answer any questions that you may have or try and point you into the right path to answer any questions that you may have.

A good site is Beliefnet.com I love this site because you can learn much about other faith and they have fun quzzies for those that like them. LOL

I hope all that come here feel welcomed and enjoy this board and I hope that many of new friends are made.

Many Blessings and hugs
Charise

Hi Charise!

I was saddened to hear that the other Paganism board was deemed to slow and shut down....as I have learned so many very wonderful things about Paganism from that board, along with the many gentle Pagan people I have met along my journey's on the good Doc's boards.

I will pop in now and again, to continue to learn....say hello, and rest assured it will be well within the 3 month window that the site deems a board defunct and in need of deleting.

Take care, and blessed be Charise.....and all my Pagan friends,

Thanks Charise

I think I spelled that right...hehe.   Anyway  I just got back online, hopefully other Pagans will flock here.   I (if ya couldn't tell by the name) am a Witch.  Though I follow the Corillian Wiccan path, I mostly follow what feels right to my soul.   Wanna know if anyone has ever been to the Witches Ball in Salem?

Were supposed to be taking a trip next Samhain (not this year but next) and going to it.   I can't wait....I am really excited.  Of course I'm nervouse too.  The most contact I have with fellow Wiccans and Witches is online, due to my injury I don't get out much.  I'm hoping to be alot better by next year.  As long as I can get the treatments I need ...anyway enough bout me!!

I haven't been to the Witche's Ball, but I have heard of it, infact I was in Salem close to the time it was going on.  Have you been to Salem?  It's awesome!

Hope you're doing well, Sybil. =)

Hi, everyone!  Thank you, Charise, for starting this board up.  I haven't looked at any of the other boards, have they gone down too?  The ones that haven't had any posts on them for a while?  I guess I can go check that out. =)

Everyone here knows me, as I know everyone here as well.  Infact, Fredi advised me that a new board was started.  =)

The Pagan path is (more recently) the path less traveled.  I am always glad to hear of someone who has discovered it and who are willing to walk on this Earth with a gentle stride.  I am also very happy when we as humans can accept and appreciate those who are different from ourselves.

Blessed be everyone. =)

Glad to see your still here!!  Where getting on, seems luck is on our side right now.   No I haven't been to Salem before....I can't wait, it has been a place I have wanted to visit for a long time.   Of course the other sites along the way, The closest up North that way that I have gotten, was the Bottom of Kentucky...and that was a quick three day trip helping somebody move down here.

I hope your doing well also ....we are doing better than we where ...thats for sure.  We just got a new place, currently needs a little repair work due to a bad storm about a month ago.  Had the only tree that could hit us, did!  Though It was only Half the tree that fell and it didn't cause much damage at all and we have insurance so were covered.    My oldest son is repeating first grade because we chose that.  He had the grades to pass....but barley at the end when they threw in the second grade material, so we decided it would be best to hold him back now, then for him to struggle to keep up later.

Hes fine with it, hes excited because he gets to go to a new school since we moved!  Hopefully I can get my youngest at pre-k.  They told me last year that it wasn't mandatory and they where already filled up...I would hate for him to be behind everyone else because he didn't have a vital step in the begining.   So I'm going Wensday and try my luck again.  They have since added buildings on to the school, so maybe they have finally noticed the need to more room.

Anyway, on another note, my Mom is coming to live with me for a little while...um....she was just released out of prison a few months ago, and is and has turned her life around.  The only thing is ...of course....she found Jesus in jail....(Whats he always doing there....hehe just kidding)  But I have absolutley no problem with it, and she knows my beliefs, but she still insist on me letting Jesus in my heart.  How do I tell her to stop it without hurting her feelings...or making her think what she believes is wrong...because that's what it does to me when she doesn't respect my decisions.

Well I think I might have just answered my own question....lol.

Brightest Blessings To All!!

Hello. I am new to the board.

Hello to all,

I hope you can bear with me.  I am rather new to the board.

I noticed that there is someone whose screen name is Witchysybil.   I was astonished, because my given name IS Sybil also.  I actually looked that name up and it is a Greek name.

I will talk to you all later.

I'm not sure what to say about your mom.  It is your house, so she should respect your views and of course you should respect her views as well, much more easier said than done sometimes.

I'm so excited for you going to Salem!  You have to share pics!

Can't stay on for long, but I did want to say hi. =)
