Hi, my name is Karem and I am a Peruvian Inmigrant, my husband is also peruvian, we live here for 5 years. We have a little 9 month old boy. Well I was thinking so much about people that live in this country, the inmigrants, but the ones that live under the shadow of ilegals. They also have kids. The other day on TV there was a show on a spansh channel about the people that are being deported and that have kids born americans. Hoe the kids are going through so much stress thinking that their parents can be deported in any minute. I was terrified thinking all that anger and stress that these kids live daily, how this is afecting them, what can cause this anger in themselves when they grow up... Will they carry so much anger against people that they can harm society????

My father was a doctor, he won many years ago a contest to work and do some research in the University of Denver Colorado, we moved from Peru to Denver when I was 6, my father worked there sor 3 years, then he decided that he did not want to raise us in the United States because in my school I was a victim of racist ataques by a boy from my class room. Still I grew up and decided to come back and live here. But the problem is that I worry that later on all this inmigration problems are afecting the kids that later on will be tha adults in this society.

I just wanted to know what you think about this, how all this issue will afect emotionally and sicologically to this sons and daughters of people that will be deported to their countries.

Karem

apparently you have not done your own research.

Read the fine print if a person is here ilegally then they are braking the law.

You want proof then Iwill show you proof in my next message.

It is very difficult to write to you because I truly dont think you understand what I am saying.  Yes being here in the US illegally is breaking the law, BUT THEY WILL NOT GET DEPORTED IF THEY DO NOT HAVE A FELONY.

This is really not hard to understand.

Yes these are reason for deportation but just because you have done something, such has false claim to USC, doesnt mean that you will be deported.

I had someone that was illegally in the US, voted in all election, shocking, was granted USC status because he was not a convicted felon.

Just because these are reasons doesnt mean that they are actually enforced.

Once again go to the local immigration office and ask.  If you truly believe what you are saying.

Also, what you highlighted doesnt mean illegal entry.  That deals with people that get into the US with doctored visas, very common with certain countries.  One just has to pay and they will change names.  Failed to register means if you are from certain countries, mostly Middle East countries,  you have to register that you are in the US.

Do you know how many cases are marriage fraud, about 70%.  Do you really see all those people getting deported, heck they dont even penalize them in any way.

In Oklahoma and other places where there is a high concentration of illegal hispanics the governent is doing everything possible to deport as many illegals as possible. This is true. People in those places that are illegal are getting deported without having comitted a felony. This is happening. What I said about my best friend's husband is true he got deported just because of the DUI and he was not legal at the time, even though he was so close to gertting citizenship.

About the marriage frauds, it is not happening as much anymore. After 9,11 immigration has gotten stricter. It was really hard for my friend to get her husband legal and they have been married for 4 years.

As your friend if he already had an NTA out on him, which was is a Notice to Appear or if he was ever picked up before.  I bet you anything that he did.

If this is truly happening, which I highly doubt because I know about the plane schedules back down to Mexico, why is this a problem?  Breaking the law, check, shouldnt be in this country, check, actually costing tax payers tons of money, check.  Deport all illegals.

Sorry you are incorrect about that, marriage fraud is at an all time high.  As for you friend she will never be able to get her husband status because he is here illegal and he missed the last time, which was April 2001, when illegals could apply for LPR status and pay a penalty of 1000 dollars.  This is as long as an I-130 was filed before April 30, 2001, such as through marriage, siblings, etc.

What you are going by is what you have heard from your friends, while you are talking about someone that is actually IN THE AGENCY.  Let's see who would know more about immigration policy, your friend or someone that deals with in on a regular bases.

It doesn't matter about my friend who lost her husband because he got deported. Yes he had a clean record except for the one DUI. This I know. She wnated a divorce anyway from him. The only reason why she faught so hard to keep him in the this country is because of her daughter. Her daughter really misses her father.

I am all for deporting illegals. I just think that it should be done the right way. I do know someone that has lost her children. She was deported and her children were put in an orphanage.

Again you do not live in a place that has a high concentration of illegal hispanics.

I am going to Tulsa tomorrow and staying a week. I will witness first hand what is going on. I will be sure to tell you if I get harrassed by any cops.

More to the story then that, sorry there is.  No judge would deport someone if they were the sole person taking care of them.  NOT A SINGLE JUDGE.

Please tell me what the right way is, in your eyes?  They arent here, it really shouldnt matter that they got someone pregnant or crossed the border pregnant to be able to stay in the US.  No one is saying that the child can not be a USC, hopefully very soon that will be changing too, but just because you are a USC doesnt mean that you have to live here.  Have everyone leave and when the child is old enough and wishes to come back to the states, more then welcome, until then, illegals are illegal and shouldnt be here.

Well that is just stupid.  It is like a black person getting harassed by the police or a teenager.  Sorry that really proves nothing.

Ok my friend is a born white American citizen and she married a Mexican here on a work visa. He applied to get his visa renewd but that never happened.after a year he applied to get citizenship and was about to get it the lawer had said it should only take a couple of weeks and then he got arrested for a DUI and got deported that is the story. He had nothing else on his record. Like I said in certain places they are doing everything they can to get rid of as many illegals as possible. They can and do deport people with no record this happens. After arguing with you so much I decided to call the lawer that my friend has and he confirmed all of this

One can not only have a work visa and then jump to citizenship, doesnt happen that way.

What has to happen is that your friend would have to file an I-130/I-485, it has to be approved.  This would make him an LPR, Lawful Permanent Resident.  If he was illegal, it doesnt matter what was filed he could not become an LPR.  The I-130 could be approved and if another amnesty happened he would already have his date down.

Once you are an LPR, if through marriage, there are two ways to become a citizen, one is in 3 years and that is if you are still married or the other is 5 years and that doesnt matter if you are married or not.  If it was employment based the person would have to wait 5 years.

You story doesnt make sense because you are missing the step of LPR status.  Also if I saw someone that had an attorney for citizenship I would think something was wrong, because people dont normally bring lawyers for something like that.

Also, an attorney would never tell you this information because this person could get disbarred because he is breaking attorney/client privilege.

The lawer did not tell me details on the case but he comfirmed that people are being deported without having a felony. As for the story sorry I do not have all the details and my friend did not say LPR status she used the term papers. After I talk with her again then me and her can go into more detailws but her husband still did not have a felony.
