(Original Air Date: 09/12/07) Affairs, fights, lies and dark secrets are tearing a family apart. Brandon and Amy have been married for 2 1/2 years and have three children. One year into their marriage, Brandon was caught having an affair with their teenage nanny. Was she the only one, or did he cheat with others? The couple's tumultuous relationship reached a breaking point when Amy, who said she feared for her life, obtained a restraining order against Brandon. What led him to file divorce papers?  Then, five months into the proceedings, their relationship reignited. Why did Amy let Brandon back into her life? Amy's parents and her ex-best friend, Heidi, say Amy's heading down the road to disaster. So why do they doubt Brandon's recent revelations? And, why does Brandon say Amy's ruining his reputation? Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

Support or Enable?

Quote From: tinawhitney

First of all, she needs to remember that she is married to Brandon, not the (so called) best friend.  Just like love friendship should be unconditional.  Friends are for comfort, refuge and SUPPORT during this kind of storm.  Hiedi needs to step out and let her resolve her anger, hurt and disappoinment with Brandon and only be a sounding board.  When someone invites you to live in their home, it does not grant you the right to interfere in their marriage to the degree that she has. It seems she wants Amy to choose between herself and Brandon.

When you say friends are for SUPPORT you clearly mean ENABLING.  If you care about a friend you don't let them walk off the cliff and say, "I support your decision".  Duh!  You try to stop them.  This man has said he would like to kill his wife and has it all planned out to put her in concrete and dump her where she can't be found.  Of COURSE the friend would get involved.  She doesn't want Amy to end up dead.  And she is clearly frantic with worry about her because Amy has her head up her nether regions where this loser is concerned.

Why are so many others on this board so fixated with why Heidi lives with Amy and The Loser?  I've had my dearest female friend live with me before when she was in a transitional period in her life.   She's like a sister to me, and when a sister needs a place to stay, you provide it if you can.   Obviously Amy and Heidi are extremely close friends, there should be no mystery as to why Amy offered her home.

Men in Uniforms?????

Nothing against Firemen or Police officers they are the best and thank God for them BUT>>>>some of

them tend to use this to their advantage to impress/take advantage of the opposite sex.  Especially a

young woman in his employ. Obviously his wife was spending a lot of recovery time in bed and not "on

top" of the situation. He took full advantage and played "house" with the Nanny. I feel sure she was also

to blame (she's taking care of their kids) she wasn't stupid. He definitely was.....and used his Uniform in

the wrong way. I look forward to hearing from the Nanny......if he took advantage why is he not in jail?

I have a best friend that wouldn't listen to me, now she wishes she had. I didn't volunteer info, but when

asked.....I told the truth. LOTS of people can't handle the truth. He's a weasel......in uniform.

ARGGGGHHHHH

I can't believe he had the nerve to even go on the show.  Amy's self esteem is so low, she believes he is ALL she deserves.  Trust me, there are men out there that will treat you like gold---even with 2 kids and baggage from the past.  Dump him--if he comes back a changed man in 10 years, then maybe-NOT

I don't think  it's fair to rain fire down on him for cheating when she's done the same thing! Two wrongs don't make a right by no means. But I don't see that it's right for her to say he's done this and that when she's just as guilty! And bringing her friend and parents into the mix makes it even worse! I'm sure she wouldn't of liked it if he wouldn't of brought his parents into the mix when she cheated! Either they need to stay together deal with the past and make a future or move on separately! The damage has been done and it can't be fixed but a future can be made either way!! I say the issue should stay between the two of them....thinking about the kids being involved and make the right choice! They could stay together and it be harder on the kids than they could of ever imagined! Like I said though...it's not just him...she's to blame too!!!!
Sorry, I must have missed the part where Amy was hopping into bed with teenagers behind her husbands back?

How did she even get so close to his pants to unzip them, why didn't he pushed her off?!...

Even if she is get all naked, he has no right to touch one hair on her head.

   Just ask her to leave!

09/12 The Nanny Affair, Part 1

Quote From: lamchop07

Hey, some people here are getting too caught up in the fact that this was a teenage girl...but let's remember that 18 is considered a legal adult, isn't it?? And...it doesn't matter if she was 16 or 18 or whatever, there were two people involved. I wouldn't say she is the "victim" here just because she is younger than he is. She probably did seduce him, but he should have had his brain in the right place to say no. He now admits he was wrong and said he has wised up. There are a lot of angry wives/ex-wives on this board that are throwing knives and think his wife is completely innocent. The fact of the matter is that they shouldn't have had any nannies to begin with...and I think she said they have had 5 different ones?? I'm not sure what is going on with Amy's head.

So it's HER fault because she hired a nanny?  Lots of people hire nannies, doesn't mean they deserve to have their husband jump into bed with her!  The impression I got was that they had five nannies because Mr. Horn-Dog kept coming on to them, and most of them had sense enough to get the heck out of there!

Well regardless if it's a teenager  or a grown woman......on the show it was said that she had cheated on him! So as much blame is on her as it is him.....she's made mistakes too!! Seems like her past of everything isn't bein' brought up!! I'm not condoning it by no means but all I'm saying is no one knows her or him behind closed doors....not even the friends or parents!!

Nanny affair

The children come first. The marrage has been broken as soon as any affair happen. Amy can do much better and her friend needs to butt out no matter how close they might be. What about the kids?

Nanny Affair

Dr. Phil.

You need to tell Amy that she needs to get her head checked if she is sleeping with the man that she wants a divorce from AND slept with their nanny.
