(Original Air Date: 09/13/07) The saga continues, as Dr. Phil brings you more of the affair that shattered the lives of a husband and wife and her best friend and parents. One year into his marriage, Brandon was caught cheating on his wife, Amy, with their teenage nanny. After fearing for her life, Amy filed a restraining order against Brandon, and he filed for divorce. But, their separation didn't last long. Amy decided to let Brandon back into her life, much to the dismay of her best friend, Heidi, and her parents, Cyndie and Mont. Why does Cyndie say she's scared of Brandon, and why does Mont say he doesn't believe a word Brandon says? Then, how are the kids faring during all of this chaos in the home? Heidi and Cyndie say they worry Brandon's discipline is over the top, but he says he's a loving father. What does Amy have to say? And, why does Dr. Phil question Brandon's sincerity to change? Is there hope this couple can save their marriage or should they call it quits once and for all? Tell us what you think!

I agree as well. i can't believe the parents are supporting her, and her children. Isn't the husband working. he states he's a fireman. <on that note. last night he mentioned how he deals with pressure daily, and the type of work he does is stressful. i am sorry. i work in the medical field, i see all sorts of things daily. he chose his profession. if he can't deal with the things that go on. he needs to get help for it.

If he can't stand the heat he shouldn't be a firefighter.  I come from a family of  cops, firefighters, paramedics and nurses (I don't have stomach for it nor the emotional stamina) and it's amazing what they do.  Obviously Brandon can't handle the job.  The only think he seems good at is abusing women and children.  I don't think you can get work doing that though.   Just a thought.

Why are you trying to cover up what he did and what he's still doing with an excuse like that? It's just something he can use next time! And more than likely this isn't the only time this will happen!! Just because a person had a rough childhood does not give them the right to act that way! You work on it! DUMB BLONDE!

While his problems were evident ~ no amount of counseling is going to help that wife that appeared to be deaf, dumb AND blind! Her expression was a constant, wide-eyed, CLUELESS, denial stare. Even when she found out there were FIVE!...No reaction. Even when her husband said, "50/50!!!"...she did not react with fury as any other woman would of. He will justifiably be with ANYONE that gives him 50%! WAKE UP or you deserve exactly what you get. You allowed your husband to abuse your child with a water hose, because it was acceptable in the military??? You're the only person on this planet that believes children are IN the military. You don't deserve those precious children! Give them to the redhead!....Of the 3 of you, she was the only sane person on the stage!

It is clear that Brandon is not over his "anger" issues, and "anger" is not the issue at hand here...abuse is.
I have to side with the friend and the parents on  this one, if Amy refuses to get out  ALL support should be cut off immediately.
Males like Brandon make me ill and women like Amy need a serious wake up call.
Brandon is a sick jerk and Amy condones it.  She's weak.  Heidi is her best friend  who doesn't want Amy (or her children) hurt by this man anymore.  Amy is just as repulsive as Brandon if she continues to let Brandon in her children's lives. 

What happened to the moms who would tear a man apart who dared hurt her children?  Amy made me want to puke when she admitted that she actually WATCHED Brandon hose her little girl down with cold water on a cold day. 

I don't buy the whole "Amy is so weak" defense though.  She certainly got dolled up enough to be on Dr. Phil.  She's reveling in Brandon wanting her back.  She doesn't deserve a friend like Heidi at all.

Good Lord!  There's enough cliche and drama in that "letter to Brandon" to drive anyone batty.

"the fire neds to be extinguished"?????   wth??  Is that so Brandon will comprehend what you mean?

It's positively amazing that there are actually women out there who think Brandon is a victim. 

I'll repeat it again and again -- looks fade, cruelness stays.  Y'all are looking at Brandon because he think he's hot (He's so not) and you can't stand strong women.  It's a shame really.

Yeah, she's making Brandon's situation worse because  she calls it like she  sees it.

We're not just talking about  an AFFAIR!!!!  He is abusive and categorically denied it on stage.  That's why Heidi is so mad.  Wake up!

He must have missed a couple of those therapy sessions!

This guy is selfish,immature and a jerk! He compartmentalizes and blames everyone but himself! Amy should have ditched him long ago! But Heidi tho a good friend needs to stay out of it! She is in way to deep in their biz'!!!
