Topic : Entertainment and Politics

I was very disappointed that Barry was not on The View.  I am a Christian 39 year old woman who grew up listening to Barry and was made fun of through out my teenage years for listening and enjoying his music.   But something about his music was very special and important to me.  Did I care about his politics or veiws no I enjoyed his music.   What does Elisabeth's political and world views have to do with promoting his new album.  What threat would she pose to him.  They do their hot topics and then do music guests seperate.  If he wanted to make a stand for Rosie why not just say that .This is crazy.  Why must everthing be about you beileve my way ---or you don't have value.  There is no more freedom of speech in this country there is a heavy price if your are an entertainer or in the public view.  Somebody is waiting in the wings to make sure you will be punished for disagreeing with you.
