Since Britney Spears and Kevin Federline split, the pop star's troubles have played out in the tabloids -- photographs at Hollywood hotspots with Paris Hilton, partying without panties, impulsively shaving her head, raging at a car with an umbrella, and spending a month in rehab.  Last month, the judge ordered the pop star to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week as part of her ongoing custody battle with Federline.  Then what was supposed to be a comeback MTV Video Music Awards performance made Britney the butt of endless jokes, and the following week, her management firm dropped her and her divorce attorney resigned.  And on Monday, Britney hit rock bottom when she was ordered to temporarily relinquish physical custody of her children to Federline by a judge who had cited a troubling lifestyle fueled by drugs and alcohol.  Could Britney be at risk for suicide?  Plus, Dr. Phil will share insight into the Britney story from the inside. And, Spears’ former bodyguard who says he spoke out to protect her children, will tell Dr. Phil what led him to go public. If it's happening now, Dr. Phil is going to talk about it now! Britney

I think the proble is Britney has been famous for so long, and shes under the spot light so much, its overwhelming her. People are following her around day and night with camera's, and evidently it's overwheling her. She needs a break. Seriously. She needs a break from the red crapet, and all the cameras and microphones and the media. There is so much on her plate. THey are feeding her way to much and she can't chew it all. She needs time alone to calm down. I think she just doesn't want to be famous anymore, but theres nothhing she can do about it. I see why she has become so suicidal. SHe probably wants to end her own life, and if she doesn't get help that is what's going to happen. She's just overwhelmed with everything going on in her life. Losing her kids is just another thing she doesnt need on her plate, but thats her own fault

I didn't get to see it either.  It was supposed to air again at 7pm but it was a different show that aired.

Immature parenting

 Several years ago I watched Britney on a live primetime interview.  I observed an immature young woman who was behaving very childish and immature while holding a young baby in an awkward position. Her conversation was immature and unprofessional. Althewhile, the baby was being 'dangled'  while she was acting like a 'school girl.'  I couldn't help but think to  myself, 'where is this child's (Britney) mother? This young girl needs her mother, and she needs parenting skills in the worse way. Dr. Phil seems to have a high regard for the rest of her family, but where was the family before Britney had her meltdown?  My mother was there for me, even when I thought she was interfering, and trying to 'butt in where she wasn't wanted.'  I finally got the message and started listening to her, and she was right. I was a young mother that needed guidance and my mom stepped up to the plate and helped me. Thanks Mom.

Postpartum depression

 Has anyone considered the possibility that postpartum depressions triggered all of this behavior? I wish it had been mentioned on the show.

Britney Spears BiPolar??

I truly wonder if Britney Spears is Bipolar, Manic Depressive!! Seems a real possibility to me after reading up on the disorder? Does anyone know if she has ever been diagnosed or treated? Sure would explain a lot of her behavior.

   You know we have to remember that even though this is the road she has taken in her life as an adult, she began in this business a long time ago.  Her parents chose this road for her when she was young this is all she knows in her life.  She was programmed for this lifestyle.  So for someone to make comments about the life that she has chosen for herself isn't necessarily true.  It's not a fair comment to make about someone that is having serious issues in their life.

 

For all you people that think Dr. Phil was wrong in doing this show about  Britney he wasn't doing it for ratings or because he wanted to get in on the action.  Dr. Phil helps a lot of people on a daily basis. They pay a lot of money to get advice from him and would wait in line for days to see him.  I think he genuinly cares about her and what may happen to her just as he does for anyone else.

 Britney's parents did not choose this road for her, she always liked being in the limelight and "performing".

Poor Britney

 I really feel sorry for Britney. I have been addicted to drugs, and having watched and heard some of the things that she is doing, to me it looks like drugs might be her problem. She has shut her family out and even some of her friends. I also can't help feeling sorry for her little sister. I am sure that she looks up to Britney. It has to be hard for her to hear about her and watch her go through all of this. I just hope that someone gets through to her and she gets the help that she needs. Maybe she watched the Dr. Phil show and realizes that there are a lot of people pulling for her. The road back is only as difficult as she makes it.

 I dont know very many people that could live up to the social standards that are set up for the celebs, all the pressure, attention and critisism.  This young woman is all screwed up, heck most young celebs are warped from a strange childhood.  No real way to know if people like you for who you are or because you are famous.  It sucks for them, but she is a real idiot for parading her children in front of the cameras and for goodness sake put on your underwear and leave them on!!  I think the public needs to stop supporting these entertainment mags and tv shows, and I really feel Dr. Phil must not give this attention. We must all be more mature and stop being so facinated by these singers, dancers and sports players. The people that deserve our attention are the chemists, scientists and doctors that are discovering cures for disease, or ways to save the planet, or ways to reduce crime, inventing things that help humanity.  We really must start taking control of what the media feed us.  I want the truth, I am sick of the "spin" of the politics, the looking the other way on corrpution and fraud and get this country back to be something to be proud of.

You need to grow UP. GET IT STRAIGHT...... BRITTANY NEEDS HELP......... WE AS HER FELLOW AMERICANS NEED TO PRAY FOR HER AND HER FAMILY SO SHE WILL GET HELP...... tONY AND ANY ONE ELSE IS REALLY IRREVELENT.... SHE IS OBVIOUSLY IN NEEED OF HELP..... PLEASE DONT MUDDY THE WATER...... THINK About it..... she needs to be a mother NOT a super Star...... those babies dont care about that, they need their momma, if she can be available to them..... if NOT .... those precious boys need a normal.... all american life away from BRITTANY SPEARS.........  she needs to get away from her trashy look that her mother has allow all these years , grow up and act like a human, and taqke care of her boys aWAY FROM THE LIMELIGHT......

My Thoughts & Prayers are with Her & Her Family

Is 'nt it sad,that we find ourselves here discussing Brittney.....What I would really like to see is Dr.Phil & Robin getting in contact with her .Maybe reaching out to her is what she really needs...someone who has nothing to gain.....I mean when you watch tv.look what is around her....could you imagine  have paparrizii ...in your  face 24/7?

  Yes they say she enjoys it....but come on give her a break....as she is a human being.....a mother who has lost her way....to be on every news station....every magazine.....it is truly so sad...when there is other stories that could be in the news....like missing kids....the homeless...maybe a good news story.

    I do pray that someone will be able to reach her...give her a soft place to fall...help her find her way back....she is living a nightmare....& has not awoke from it.

     I ask myself why all the hype for these fallen celeb's?for me its hoping that someone will help them....people say wow...why are they a train wreck ?With all that money?.....its not money Brittney needs ...its a soft place to fall......she needs someone to  reach out & help her.....So Dr. Phil & Robin I have seen you work miracles.....can you reach out & help her?I know myself & I am sure many of your viewer's do not want to see another Anna Nichole Smith Tragedy.......you have the means of doing miracles ...so will you try?

If you dont want to watch it....why do you? Some of us are interested in her well-being and would like to see it
