Since Britney Spears and Kevin Federline split, the pop star's troubles have played out in the tabloids -- photographs at Hollywood hotspots with Paris Hilton, partying without panties, impulsively shaving her head, raging at a car with an umbrella, and spending a month in rehab.  Last month, the judge ordered the pop star to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week as part of her ongoing custody battle with Federline.  Then what was supposed to be a comeback MTV Video Music Awards performance made Britney the butt of endless jokes, and the following week, her management firm dropped her and her divorce attorney resigned.  And on Monday, Britney hit rock bottom when she was ordered to temporarily relinquish physical custody of her children to Federline by a judge who had cited a troubling lifestyle fueled by drugs and alcohol.  Could Britney be at risk for suicide?  Plus, Dr. Phil will share insight into the Britney story from the inside. And, Spears’ former bodyguard who says he spoke out to protect her children, will tell Dr. Phil what led him to go public. If it's happening now, Dr. Phil is going to talk about it now! Share your thoughts, join the discussion.

Find out what happened on the show.

Britney

I am praying that she gets the help that she needs and soon.  I agree with Dr. Phil when he said that she really needs to go to court and say that she is sorry.  Saying it is one thing but she actually has to show the court that she is doing something about it.  As for her one time husband---please let me not wax on that fool.  This is a person if I were Britney's mom, I would have set the attack dogs on him cause the one thing that everyone is forgetting is this, was she or was she not sober and clean before that wannabe latched onto her?  I think that that answer should be a resounding yes on that one.  She needs to get the help that she needs and I think that she needs a dose of tough love because all she has around her is a lot of "yes" people and she needs to have someone who really loves her for her and not for her celebrity take her under their wing and say ,"This is for your own good" and take her out of the limelight for a bit until she is clean and sober.  As for her children, I hate to say this but I am going to say it any way, as a judge I would not have allowed Kevin any where near those children until he paid the back support that he owes for the other children that he had before coming together with Britney.  And if anyone out there thinks that he is not in this for the money then they are dead wrong.  It is a shame that she has come to this and that is the loss of her children to the likes of that fool.  I would say that there needs to be a court appointed guardian for those children and one that is there solely for the children and no one else.  As for Britney, my thoughts and prayers are with you and hoping that you will get the help that you need so that you can be reunited with your children and be the mother or the kind of mother that we all know that you can be.  Seek the help that you need now and if you ever needed a reason in order to seek it then all you have to remember is that you are a mother and you need to be with your children.

You reap what you sow

If it were not Brittany Spears there would be no attention paid to this situation at all.  Hundreds of mothers are just like her, uncaring, drug addicts. What happens to them? Easy!  They are handled by the law and the law is follwed.  They lose their children, after several warnings, which Im sure Brittany has had. And still she feels the law is not  for her.  She will not bend to the law, flaunts her celebrity status in order to get out from under and even had the gall to once again show her underwear, if she was wearing any, not two days ago when she turned herself in. She disgusts me. She is no different from any of us and should have to abide by the rules and laws of this country in order to protect those kids.  Now she can party on, untl she overdoses. She used to have style and class when she first came on the scene. Now she is just a hopeless addict who will go in and out of rehab, just for the attention. I dont blame anyone but here. No one held her down and forced alchohol and drugs down her throat. She did it to her self. You want to dance, you got to pay the fiddler. She could have had it all, personally I think she is just uneducated and stupid.

Marissa

Quote From: patty857

I feel bad for her, no doubt. Everytime she makes a mistake or acts stupid there is some one there to take her picture. I sure am glad no one followed me around when I was young and raising my children. Not that I did anything wrong, but they sure can make is look bad if they want to.

But lets not be stupid here either, it is pretty plain that she has a problem that she won't fess up to.

Admitting you have a problem is 1/2 the battle, right?

She needs to be in touch with her children and the children need her also. But I would be a litttle worried about letting her keep them.

Just my opinion...

Here is another story you might want to read:

I would like to share a story about a little girl name Marissa.

She is only 4 years old. In aug, little Marissa's life changed and so did the life of everyone that loved her.

This is a very long story and we have a website for her, I ask you all to please go to her site and read our story.

http://givemarissaback.com

Her father has taken her, and the battle is one you just won't believe. Marissa is such a happy little girl and loves her sister and mommy.

Her mommy ( amanda) is only allowed to see her 3 hours a week, and that is only 1 1/2 hour at a time. It is almost a 2 hour drive.

If any of you know anything about the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Peacemakers court than you will understand. IF YOU don't, YOU really need to read this story.

None of us was prepared or even aware of any of this and we only live an hour and half away.

Please take the time and read the story, than drop us a line.

Thank you for your time and please pray for this family....

This mother is in a battle for her children and she didn't do anything like Britney! In fact, she stays home and takes good care of her babies. She is a single mother just doing the best she can.

Read the story and would love to hear from you.

I sent the story to Dr. Phil, but I understand he get's so many letters that he just doesn't always have time to see them all.

I thought if I can get the site out to enough people that the word will get out and maybe something can be done before it is too late.

Anyone with any idea's on how to fight this battle, or any ideas at all would be great.

We have contacted every news station, every news paper we can find addresses to.

Please feel free to send us links to any that we may have missed.

I am so sad to hear about this story.  What can we do?  I live near the Oneida Nation.  They have been good neighbors.  I am sorry to hear that the Senecas seem to have abused their power as a sovereignty.  Maybe Dr. Phil can help.  That is something we would all love to see rectified.

Have you paid any attention?

I would suppose people are making a big deal out of it is because putting your children in jeopardy is A BIG DEAL!!!! Save all your sadness for the people who really deserve it.

I think that most people would care when kids are involved.  Yes, it's sad that she's in the spotlight all of the time.  I agree on that point, but I would think just as little of her being an average person for the way she has been acting.  She has gone beyond what even most celebrities do as far as acting out and she is putting her kids at risk in the process.  That's just wrong, for her or anyone else.

Britany is simply using her status to do whatever she wants to do with no thought to anyone but herself.  If I acted as recklessly as she does, I would expect my husband to want total custody of my children, and rightfully so.  It is always about her (Britany).  She thinks her money can buy anything, and I am very happy to see that it cannot, thus far.  She brought these children into this world -- they did not ask to be born to HER so she needs to "step up" and be a Mom and not a 'star'.  The children are the innocents and the victims here, not Britany.  Time to grow up!

CAN WE SPELL GREED - K-FED

I feel sorry for Britney too, because I am sure her LOSER ex-husband probably had a lot to do with setting her up to have her kids temporarily taken away from her.  Granted, she should have complied with the Court's request to have the drug testing & parenting classes, but I am sure he was just lurking in the corner waiting for her to mess up, so he could come in and bleed her dry for more money.

Federline is such a gold-digging LOSER!!!  What a coincidence, his alimony is about to expire in November, so he needed something to hang on to in order to keep sucking Britney for more money, what better opportunity than "child support".

He would love for everyone to believe that he has the children's best interest at heart & that he is such a good father, but when he sees those (2) kids, he sees dollar signs.  Lets ask ourselves this, what type of a

father leaves his pregnant girlfriend to be with another woman? What type of a father goes out partying all the time and leaves their wife to take care of the kids?  Just because he wanted to get drunk and hang out with a bunch of sluts did not mean that the kids didn't still need to be fed, bathed & put to bed.  Oh, I guess that was "okay", because it was K-fed doing it, not Britney.  When Britney goes out to have a good time or have a few drinks, she is labeled as a bad mother, which is not right.  Good father my behind, give me a break......  The bottom line & the REAL truth is this, his bank account is running low and he needs as much money as he can get to pay for all the kids he has to support now (I believe he's up to (4) ) & to continue to maintain the life style of  luxury that he is accustomed to , THANKS TO Britney.  Kevin, can we say vasectomy???

Federline makes me sick to my stomach.  He has already gotten more than he ever deserved from Britney (her money), but I guess for a worthless, gold-digging LOSER like him, that's not enough.

More, Not Less

We read books and magazine articles about the mother:family connection and understand that through the mystery of birthing a child a mother's body and soul develops an ability to connect to her children and she has ongoing subtle awareness of their thoughts, feelings, and well being.  Her body becomes more, not less.  She as a person becomes more, not less.  A musician's body also develops and musicians become more, not less.

Britney has massive numbers of fans from many nations, nationalities, religions, and bloodtypes. One might wonder if her changing body has become more aware/sensitive both from the childbirth as well as from her development as a musician and what this means to the skills she needs to keep her life stable.

When one uses drugs to derange their consciousness they may be detaching themselves from people or situations.  They may dumb themselves down and speed themselves up at the same time.  This lowers awareness and speeds the body so that situations or people do not influence what they are trying to do or be.  In the short term, with a healthy body, this is not such an issue.

To be a musician with such a huge following has it's unique stressors. To carry such a huge energy load from other persons requires constant awareness and care of one's own life and body.  This might be helpful:  There is a rhythmic pulse/ harmony in the human body that connects with the earth and the heavens.  Certainly spiritual practices such as prayer are a necessity every day.  But the deeper cycles of growth and evolution that are "greening"  the planet can be aligned with by gently moving the body with eyes closed and bringing awareness to the aliveness vital in the planet.  It's like you see the trees, sky, plants, everything, with a glowing, alive, vital pulse and you feel this too and are smiling with the happiness of being alive.

I don't see ugliness in Britney or her  body.  I see a time for changes and a life that is more, not less.

Thank you!

I was so glad to hear from you. I have wrote Dr. Phil several time. I am sure he gets tons of email from people like us and has to sift through them.

Also got to make sure he keeps on top of Britney's story!

As it stands right now we have the story in 3 different news papers and we are trying to get a group of people together to rally ( peacefully) on the road to the Seneca Nation of Indians.

It is so sad, it is not all the Seneca People that feel this way or agree with what is going on.

It the so called Peacemakers judges that think will not honor our American rules.

This is not the first time that this has happened up there, since we have posted the story and gone as public as we can, we have had TON"S of emails from people telling us stories. The one woman lost everything because she was married to a Seneca Indiand and the peacemakers court stripped her of everything.

It is all sad that this kind of thing can go on in our country. Like I said, men and women are fighting to keep our American Flag flying with pride and honor, and keeping Freedom in our County. Yet a few people right here in the USA think that they are above the law and can write their own laws.

They did not weight all the facts in this case. I honestly do not think people know what is going on here unless they live it or know some one that is living it.

I also think that somethings people are afraid to touch because of the political hallo around it.

I think that is so sad.
The father has blamed us for being racist against the Indians, of for god sakes! I am almost 1/2 Indian, and Marissa mother is Indian, just not Seneca. WE all decided not to go there, we didn't think it was in the best interest of our Country to go to that extreme.

Thank you so much for listening to me blab..... as you can see I am very passionate about this. But I am also passionate about what is right. If I thought for one second that our Little Marissa would not be in a loving home and safe with her mother I would NOT put my neck out there.

I know her mom, her family... they are guilty of loving too much as times.

So be it, they are not abusive in any shape or form.

I have emailed Marissa's family through the website bringmarissahome.com.  They have my email address.  You can let me know the details of the march.  I, also have asked Dr.Phil to look into the merits of this story.  You, Marissa and her family are in my prayers.
