Brittney changed when she started seeing Kevin.

The drugs, drinking all out of hand from Kevin.

Why doesn't anyone see this.

Who are these people who suppositly know her or follow her career, yet not see what she had done since being with Kevin.  He set her up, he knew she would fall to every one of his whims, all he had to do was threaten to leave.  Dr. Phil you have worked with controlling boyfriend, husbands before, how about seeing Kevin in this light and from this learn how to help Brittney.

Britney surrounds herself with people who want to be around someone who is famous, and now someone who is famous for being infamous.  She must think that any publicity is good publicity since she has her new purfume out and her new song out, but people think she is crazy, a bad mother, and a drug addict and a lot of bad things.  We don't really know what the case is, but we do know that she is using bad judgement and making herself look very foolish.

People for the most part are not trying to glorify Britney or pay too much attention to another spoiled brat, I think that they see a person who really needs help and are trying to say to her "Wake Up" and change what you are doing right now!

Kevin is not necessarily a better parent; he is probably looking for more money.  He doesn't have a real job.  Britney has spent most of her life not being a normal person living in the real world and now she needs to have some people help her to live her life to have a life outside of the Hollywood scene.  She choose to become a mother and when she made that choice, she needs to realize that she has to get out of the limelight for a while and schedule her appearences carefully so the kids can have a more normal life.  She has to make choices that consider them and consider her own health and sanity and her image.  She is sending out the message that she is defiant, but a lot of stars are all dead now Britney.  We get it!

Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, and many others should clue you in by now.  We get it, why can't you?  You have to decide if it is all worth it. You don't seem to care what people think of you, well your sons are people too.  And they will have to live with your choices.  People will just give up and stop trying to help you after all of this if you cannot clue in that all of this is meant as people trying to get a message to you to stop doing what you are doing for your own sake.

The message from everyone is about what Brittany needs to do to get her kids back.  What if she just doesn't want to be a mother and doesn't want the responsibility.  Maybe her behavior is a result of the guilt she may feel if that is truly the case.  As we all know, in our society it isn't acceptable for a mother to not have her kids in the case of divorce, or in any other case for that fact.  We're looked at as bad mothers.  Could it be that she has turned to these bizarre behaviors to become the "bad" mother that she may feel she is for not wanting to have custody of them, or maybe for not wanting them at all?

Dr. Phil:

I am a GREAT mother that lost custody of my son.  As a matter of fact, I am a group owner for mom's that lost custody.  There are tons of us!  And we didn't do any of the things Britney did!  In a nutshell, I lost custody because the father and I did not get along.  And apparently the judge liked him better.  But my son is NOT happy about the situation.  He had to change schools and he misses his older siblings. 

I wish you were right about having to do something REALLY screwed up in order to lose custody.  But unfortunately, you must be stuck in the past because you have NO CLUE what you are talking about!!

I'm so upset that you said that because all of us MOMs that have lost custody to dad's have already been judged and labeled by other mom's.  We are perceived to be unfit mothers, drug users, losers.  Something must be really screwed up about us, right?

I use love your show.  I have watched every episode.  I watched you on Oprah on Tuesdays.  But I think I'm done being a Dr. Phil fan.  And I think all mom's that have lost custody to fathers should stand up to you! 

Now I have heard you say a couple of screwed up things about the justice system that are totally wrong.  Maybe you should talk to people that have been screwed over by the courts! 

I watched the Dr. Phil show about Brittney Spears.  I feel very bad for her.  She is in the news no matter what she does.  She needs help.  She is a mixed up girl.  Maybe the BABY BLUES who knows.  Apparently the therapy she is getting is not working.  I would love to see Dr. Phil help Brittney.  I think he can really find out what is going on since he doesn't mess around and gets to the problem.  I don't know if he reads these posts but if he does I wish he would help her.  PLEASE.

She is a good person and needs her kids back after she gets better.

Everyone keeps stating, what they are doing is in the "best interests" of these kids.  There was also a lot of talk on the show that day about Judges Orders and how those CANNOT be ignored and must be obeyed.  The one thing that stuck out to me on the show that day was the one shot of those poor kids in their moms(Britney) car and all those photograhers around them.  Those kids looked, especially the older son, looked horrified, it was sooooo sad, his little face, he was crying, I did not like it.  As a mom I don't know how Britney could take that, popstar or not, that's TOO MUCH. 

Why in holy name does the Judge not grant a "Court Order", "Judges Order", whatever its called so that these photograhers, during this whole custody thing, must stay away from those poor kids and their mother.  Wouldn't that be in the "best interests" of those kids?
