Since Britney Spears and Kevin Federline split, the pop star's troubles have played out in the tabloids -- photographs at Hollywood hotspots with Paris Hilton, partying without panties, impulsively shaving her head, raging at a car with an umbrella, and spending a month in rehab.  Last month, the judge ordered the pop star to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week as part of her ongoing custody battle with Federline.  Then what was supposed to be a comeback MTV Video Music Awards performance made Britney the butt of endless jokes, and the following week, her management firm dropped her and her divorce attorney resigned.  And on Monday, Britney hit rock bottom when she was ordered to temporarily relinquish physical custody of her children to Federline by a judge who had cited a troubling lifestyle fueled by drugs and alcohol.  Could Britney be at risk for suicide?  Plus, Dr. Phil will share insight into the Britney story from the inside. And, Spears’ former bodyguard who says he spoke out to protect her children, will tell Dr. Phil what led him to go public. If it's happening now, Dr. Phil is going to talk about it now! Share your thoughts, join the discussion.

10/04 Britney Breaking News

Quote From: patty857

Thank you!

I was so glad to hear from you. I have wrote Dr. Phil several time. I am sure he gets tons of email from people like us and has to sift through them.

Also got to make sure he keeps on top of Britney's story!

As it stands right now we have the story in 3 different news papers and we are trying to get a group of people together to rally ( peacefully) on the road to the Seneca Nation of Indians.

It is so sad, it is not all the Seneca People that feel this way or agree with what is going on.

It the so called Peacemakers judges that think will not honor our American rules.

This is not the first time that this has happened up there, since we have posted the story and gone as public as we can, we have had TON"S of emails from people telling us stories. The one woman lost everything because she was married to a Seneca Indiand and the peacemakers court stripped her of everything.

It is all sad that this kind of thing can go on in our country. Like I said, men and women are fighting to keep our American Flag flying with pride and honor, and keeping Freedom in our County. Yet a few people right here in the USA think that they are above the law and can write their own laws.

They did not weight all the facts in this case. I honestly do not think people know what is going on here unless they live it or know some one that is living it.

I also think that somethings people are afraid to touch because of the political hallo around it.

I think that is so sad.
The father has blamed us for being racist against the Indians, of for god sakes! I am almost 1/2 Indian, and Marissa mother is Indian, just not Seneca. WE all decided not to go there, we didn't think it was in the best interest of our Country to go to that extreme.

Thank you so much for listening to me blab..... as you can see I am very passionate about this. But I am also passionate about what is right. If I thought for one second that our Little Marissa would not be in a loving home and safe with her mother I would NOT put my neck out there.

I know her mom, her family... they are guilty of loving too much as times.

So be it, they are not abusive in any shape or form.

Thank you for writing to Dr. Phil I am so happy for your support!

I fear for Marissa and the care she is receiving from her father and his girlfriend.

Marissa's mother is a great mom. Granted, she is not perfect, but who is?  If this case makes it's way into a federal court system and a judge says it is in Marissa's best interest to be with her father, then so be it.  But at least it would be a fair decision and it would be made by an educated individual who is qualified to make that decision.  It would be fair and unbiased trial.

If you would see the behavior that goes on inside the SNI Peacemakers Court you would just DIE.  I seen it with my own eyes.  I read the transcripts from the many hearings they had without Amanda even present. How they mocked her and the inappropriate things they said about her.  I also saw they way they rolled their eyes at her Lawyer and family upon entrance to their court house.  They even have gone as far as trying to lock out Amanda's family members.

Come on.... is this right?  WHat is going on.?.  THis wrong sooooooo wrong.

That would be absolutely wonderful if Dr. Phil could see our story and look further into it.  Its not about different ethnicities, different people.  Its about a little girl who has been taken away from every familiar aspect of her life and placed with people she hardly knows.

I pray for Marissa every day.  For her safety, for her return home, and for her mom and sister who have to look at her empty bed everyday.  For Amanda who has to continue to go in front of the SNI judicial system and be humiliated and lynched all on accuasations that are merely "hearsay."  She is continuously told no.  She travels over a 100 miles every saturday and sunday only for Marissa's dad not to show up for visitation.

The fate of a child should NEVER EVER EVER be left to be made by someone who is not educated or qualified to make the decision. That is what this is about.  Pray for Marissa to come back home!

The plot keeps getting worst

Since I have put up the site for Marissa, I have received so many email about other's that have gone through the same thing. I am sick, I have to ask permission to share some of these stories and if so please check the web site.

I pray that Dr. Phil reads these boards and realizes this is just as important if not more than Britney, and others in the spot light...

I believe he says.. "IF its happening now, we will deal with it now" It is happening NOW.. and it is happening to many.

Thanks for sharing this story

I worry about Britney, Dr. Phil.  Britney is a talented performer.  She doesn't owe me an explanation on her life away from the stage.  However, channels like TMZ and ET talk about Britney every night.  Why is it our business what she does?  I agree she's out of control .  She lost her kids.  Its very sad but the truth is, she won't get help until she is ready to admit there is a problem. She hasn't lost enough yet...

Britney, if you're reading this, hon, please think about the consequences.  I've never seen you, met you or have anything autographed by you.  You're a creative person.  Why not take some time and write the pros and cons of what is going on in your life?  Do you miss your kids?  What do you have to do to change the situation?  Is the publicity worth it?  OK OK you make what, $800,000 a month, aren't you and your kids worth more?

Dr. Phil, I wish Britney had a place to go where the papparazzi won't bombard her.  She needs a quiet space -- when she is ready -- to get the guidance she needs.  At least you're one of the good guys who wants to help her get better.

Thank you for trying to get help for Britney Spears.  As a mom I can't imagine what her mom Lynne is going through.  Britney behaves like she is mentally ill and in need of mental help.  We don't get mad at diabetics for having a pancreas disorder or MI patients for having a heart condition.  However, when it comes to disorders of the brain we tend to see people who suffer as flawed.  I am praying that she gets the help she needs before she kills herself and her poor babies are motherless!

I wished her mother would mother her and provide lots of love and tender care, to model for her and show her she is not alone. I think we are asking too much from a kid like Britney. How could she give if she is lacking? Not blaming Mom, but maybe she too could use some advise...

I agree.  Britney needs her mom so much right now.  I see at the "checkouts" that they are at least starting to talk to each other.  It seems as if Britney has not allowed anyone in her life who disagrees with her lifestyle. Whether it is the judge, mother, lawyer or friend it seems as if Britney could not accept council.  Maybe that is starting to change.  I hope so.

I saw a picture of Britney driving with the boys in their car seats in the back seat.  Sean was holding little Jayden 's hand so protectively.  I am glad that they have each other.  I wonder what goes on in their little minds!  They are such beautiful children.

Britany is suffering from postpartum depression. The press is making it worse. Someone needs to help this poor girl. So much damage has been done already.God bless her.

I don’t think anybody is a perfect parent and the more pressure that is put on one person the more they will second-guess themselves and the more they will mess-up. I don’t think Britney is any worse of a parent then anybody else. It’s a case of everything she does being shared, through photos, with the entire world and is some cases blown out of proportion.

Here is an example of how innocent pictures can be in the worst way just to sell a tabloid. I was in a store the other day and a tabloid caught my eye. It had one of the kids on the cover with a headline of suicide watch, referring to his mother. Now if that’s not hard to live with I don’t know what would be. I can’t believe it’s legal to use pictures of babies that way. If she wants what best for her kids she and her ex would keep that part of their life private and quit using them for leverage against each other.

Get real people!

Dr. Phil,

I had NO experience on raising children, as do most parents when it's thrust upon them...

wanted or not.

That didn't stop me from reading all I could about pregnancy, child raising and marriage...

PRE-COMPUTERS!

I quickly learned that drinking while pregnant, was a MAJOR risk the my child's health, as was

smoking and GOD FORBID--- drug use!!!  We were even told that certain foods could cause a

risk to the child's developing an allergy to it.  Needless to say, those were probably the healthiest

months of our lives... spent getting ready for the miracle about to be bestowed on us.

We had no money, to speak of... NO nannies, no maids... nobody but our parents, who helped

out for a few days after the birth.

WE DID IT ON OUR OWN!

Sure, some women get PPD...  you go to the doctor, tell him how your feeling, and ask for help!

And, if you are too ill to get the help, your mate or family makes sure you follow thru...

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to raise a child... it takes some common sense, some education,

and LOTS OF LOVE!

Something that Miss Spears seem to have none of, sadly...

My advice is that she get therapy, get off her ass and GROW UP!!!

She was adult enough to make those children... now step up to the plate, and take responsibility

for them!

If she is unable to do so, then they are better off without her in their lives... PERIOD!
