Since Britney Spears and Kevin Federline split, the pop star's troubles have played out in the tabloids -- photographs at Hollywood hotspots with Paris Hilton, partying without panties, impulsively shaving her head, raging at a car with an umbrella, and spending a month in rehab.  Last month, the judge ordered the pop star to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week as part of her ongoing custody battle with Federline.  Then what was supposed to be a comeback MTV Video Music Awards performance made Britney the butt of endless jokes, and the following week, her management firm dropped her and her divorce attorney resigned.  And on Monday, Britney hit rock bottom when she was ordered to temporarily relinquish physical custody of her children to Federline by a judge who had cited a troubling lifestyle fueled by drugs and alcohol.  Could Britney be at risk for suicide?  Plus, Dr. Phil will share insight into the Britney story from the inside. A REAL MOTHER

All I can say is, I don't know if thiswill be read, but I am 31 and have a 9 year old son who is mentally handicapped, as well as, physically.  I can't imagine not being able to help or do what I have 2 do for my son and I don't have the money for someone to help me take care of him or to get him all the things he needs and for someone who doesn't appreciate their children for being healthy makes me sick...asmuch as I wish I could do 4 my son to make him progress and u have her not care for her children like she should..people need to appreciate their children more then theydo and thank god that they are healthy andable to run around tearing things up.But even all I've been through I wouldn't change one thing.

why feed into her ego anymore??

Britney - the queen of sleaze - is a disgusting peice of garbage and doesnt deserve our attention.  She does the things she does to promote her ever failing career.  I can only hope the courts give these kids to Kfed - he isnt perfect by any means but at least he stays out of the spotlight and doesnt flash people. 

Another famous mother on another show had great advise for Britney - put some underwear on and stay home and take care of your kids - that is IF she ever gets them back which I hope she doesnt

Will people stop talking about celbrities???? they are normal people like us. they jsut make more money then us! :) its rediculous how people have nothing better to do then bad talk famous people.. they must be jelous! i personally hate Brittney's music. but people need to get on with their life and leave hers alone!!

I really just believe britney has become mentally ill, therefore isn't really purposely making bad decisions. Therefore I have a hard time being angry with her being I don't consider her capable of making "choices" right now

I feel so sad for Jamie Lynn.  It is hard enough to be 16 and pregnant let alone to be famous and have the whole world talk about you.  I applaud her courage.  She could have taken the easy way out and no one would have known.  JL you and your baby are in my prayers.

Ironic

How ironic is it, that around the same time Lynne Spears has a "parenting" book set for release, that Jamie-Lynne announces her pregnancy.

 

You know who I'd like to see write a parenting book? Condoleeza Rice's mom. Oprah Winfrey's mom. Judge Judy's mom.

If we have to idolize women/girls in the media.....why are so many picking these train wrecks to idolize? What have they really done??Sold some records? Made a fashion statement?? C'mon...really!

 

Personally, I encourage my daughters to "idolize" (if thats even the right word) women of substance. Women who have used their life to make a positive impact on the world around them. Women who have used their brains instead of their bodies to achieve something.

With what Britney is going through right now is truly sad... Her over publicize fame has taken her to the worst place. I hope she will be okay. Maybe she should have stayed with Justin. she has way too many YES people around her... She had fame too young and too fast, and its showing that it has  gotten to her.

 

Her mom should start being a parent, instead of making money off her daughters with a book on how to raise a child.

 

I hope this is Britney`s wake-up call.

10/04 Britney Breaking News

Eversince I heard that Britney Spears was hospitalized on Friday I said to people that she has not hit rockbottom.  And I have been proven right.  If she had hit rock bottom she would not have checked herself out of the hospital this weekend but stayed until today.  And she would have requested to see Dr. Phil herself and her parents would not have had to ask him. 

 

I think Dr. Phil is right she is troubled psychologically and would not be surprised if she is bipolar.  If she does not get help soon I would not be surprised if she were dead within the year.

 

 

I am disappointed that Dr. Phil caved into public preassure and decided not to air the Britney Spears episode.  I don't think  he is taking advantage of a situation I think it would do her some good to have her see herself the way we all do.

 I don't understand why Lynn Spears would let a 14 year old date a 16 year old and now she is 16 and pregnant.  That MAN should now be charged with rape and go to jail for it.

Legal System

Could you describe to America the legal system during a heated custody battle like this. To see KFed speeding along the other night is equally as bad. He could have stopped at a Fire Station for help. He seems equally as offensive as a parent who abuses pot and alcohol and god knows what else.

He just has Britney's money to pay for his attorney that is not helping the situation. Britney did the right thing to divorce this yahoo, but why did things get worse when she left KFed. It seems like a typical abusive relationship where KFed is retaliating and using these two poor children as missiles.

KFed has 3 other illegitimate kids, no education, no religion. Why doesn't a neutral Guardiam Ad Litem take both the kids until this passes. It doesn't seem any safer for the kids with KFED, especially after how he was driving last night.

My prediction is that KFED will resort to everything to see that Britney self destructs and then like Anna Nicole Smith these losers get the money-they don't care about the kids.
