(Original Air Date: 10/15/08) The speculation surrounding O.J. Simpson has never stopped since his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ron Goldman were tragically murdered 13 years ago. Millions watched O.J.'s infamous white Bronco chase on TV. The murder trial, which lasted 10 months, is often called the trial of the century and was the most watched in history. Simpson stirred the controversy again by attempting to publish a book called, If I Did It. While he says it's a work of fiction, the family of Ron Goldman believes If I Did It is his confession, and that he got caught up in the interview process for the book and forgot that he was supposed to be speculating rather than reporting. Now, the Goldmans are the focus of a huge controversy as they take over publishing the tome. Are they justified in taking the profits away from the man they believe to have killed their loved one? And, meet the ghostwriter of If I Did It, Pablo Fenjves, a man who sat across the table from O.J. for over three months as the former football star told him how it would have happened -- if he had been the killer. Join Fenjves as he goes back to the crime scene and reveals compelling details from his conversations with Simpson. Plus, Dr. Phil offers his take on O.J. and this now best-selling book. Was it a confession, or is it truly just a hypothetical account? Tell us what you think!

Find out what happened on the show.

I completely agree with everything you wrote. I have always believed that the killings were drug related. The Goldman's are caught up in revenge. They will never see peace.

If the killings were drug related then why did the dream team forget to mention that Ron was a drug dealer?  That might have gotten him off better than a shriveled up old glove.

If OJ did not kill his wife then how could he depict her murder?  When someone in your family is murdered you don't pen an entertaining novel about the event.  If he is but a victim here then why would HE bring all this up again after all these years-- this time making himself the killer?  This is the man you choose to represent injustice?  Pull out a history book.  There are better poster children out there.

Title of O.J.'s Book

Has anyone noticed that on the cover of his book .  I don't know if it was his idea on how the title was to be printed, but if it was, it says it all  the word "If" is in very small print within the letter "I" so to read "I Did It".  To me it says he did it.  Being as arrongant as he is, he would have it read that way with the word "If" in very small print as to say I did it (maybe)

Confession of a Killer - OJ

I find it really interesting that with all of the ghost writers across the United States that OJ chose Pablo who was a witness for the prosecution.   I still recall the look on his former friend Kardashian's face when the verdict was announced.  He looked sick to his stomach that OJ had gotten away with murder.   Now finally he might get sentenced and they will throw the key away.

Kudos to Pablo for working with the Goldman's and adding additional insight into what did not make it to print.  I applaud the Goldmans for their efforts.  Many lives were destroyed by OJ.  I hope finally some justice will get served.

OJ did it Open your eyes

For those of you who think OJ is innocent because he was acquitted please remember the jury did

not see all the evidence, open your eyes.

For those who think it was a racial vendetta against OJ, open your eyes.

For those of you who do not understand  the difference between a crime of passion and a drug related crime, open your eyes.

There is so much evidence that he did it,  just open your eyes, take the emotion out of it and look at the facts.

10/15 The O.J. Book Battle

Quote From: emilec132

I think it is tragec how people presume that OJ is guilty.  After all, he was aquitted in the criminal trial.  Everyone assumes that OJ went there to kill his wife and that poor Ron Goldman happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.  I think that Ron was the intended victim and that OJ's wife opened the door at the wrong time.  I think it was a drug related killing.  Wasn't Ron's roommate, also, killed just shortly afterward?  Food for thought people.  How could OJ have committed such a bloody crime and not be covered in blood himself?  In the civil trial no one had to prove that he really committed the crime, only that he could have.  A lot of innocent victims are in prison today because no one had to prove that they were guilty.
How can you even write that it is tragic the people presume OJ is guilty.  Aquittal was absolutely racial, and Cochrans, stupid razzle dazzle catch phrase, "If it don't fit, you must aquitt.  What is tragic is how a jury could come up with a "NOT GUILTY" in just a few hours.  After watching the trial, that jury would have been hung for sure had I been on the jury.  There is no way anyone could have convinced me to vote "NG" if it took a year.  I fully support the Goldman's and totally understand what and why they are doing what they are doing.  Think about it, think if it was your loved one brutally murdered and you knew the killer got away with it.  Don't you think you might be traumatized suffter PTSD and exact revenge at any corner?  God Bless the Goldman's and the Brown's and to prison with OJ.  Anyone who watched the trial, saw the evidence knows in their hearts and minds that OJ is an insaine brutal murderer.

He brought it up again to make money. And he has the right as an American to make a living for himself.Question should be -Why would the Goldman's want to publish this? It's all about the money, always is,always will be.

Well said.  I agree.  I pray OJ lives to be well into his 100's in the obvious body pain that he is in and that his accommodations will be in a Las Vegas or Federal prison where by he can be King of his cell block.  Hopefully it won't be a Federal Prison better known as a "County Club" for men.

Buy the book to help the goldmans and spite OJ

For all those who don't want to read the book, I applaud you standing by your principles, however, buy the book, donate it to someone or someplace, but the money goes to the Goldman's and O.J. doesn't get a penny, if for no other reason, that is a good reason to buy the book.  Just my 2 lincolns.

OJ a classic abuser, batterer

OJ a classic abuser, batterer.

Abuser,

Batterer,

Sociopath,

Narcissist

It's all in the details, he did it.

He's still blaming her.

He began killing Nicole years before ... abuse and battering ,a slow crime.

"You never do anything about him.  You talk to him and then you leave."  --- Nicole Brown Simpson to the police

There were many reliable pre-incident indicators  linked to spousal violence and murder.  There was strong reason for concern.    I am sorry and saddened Nicole was murdered.

I am so very  saddened Ron was in that wrong place on that night when OJ  murdered Nicole. I am sorry Ron was murdered.

My heart goes out to the Brown and Goldman families.  I wept with you then, since, ... and still now.

I admire the courage and tenacity, the persistence, the resolve  of the Goldman's.

Your son's, brother's foundation is doing on going worthwhile, great work.  Thank you for this.

Thanking you for doing this show.

May all the good people involved find peace and healing ...
