Topic : 10/17 Sexual Predators?

I agree--it is a horrible thing to wrongly accuse someone of molestation and/or rape of a child, whether in child custody cases or other situations.  But in this case, it is my understanding that this abominable act was recorded, thus revealed/learned, and how he was identified and finally caught.

I can not believe that you as a victim are thinking we need to find proper therapy for this guy. His therapy will be once he goes to jail or prison,and the other inmates get ahold of him.  Look at how many accounts he has against him.  He will NEVER change. So why waste the therapy's time that could be helping others that will change there ways.  I myself was a victim when i was 14,15 and 16 by my boss.  It was a two day trial and it took 5 hours for the verdict to come back in.  At 10pm the last day of the trial and the verdict came back in and he was found guilty to ALL accounts, I knew that I was not going to have to fear anymore of him. Then when he was released from prison, I was looking over my shoulder ALL the time.  To this day I still fear him. I am only 25 yrs old and I should not have to fear like that.  He should of sat longer.

ok, i have read almost all the postings. And now i will share my thoughts. Just recently some one I know was accused  by family members of molestation. I believe them. My daughter is in shock and a few months pregnant with child. My daughter I believe is some what in denial. How could some one she has known for so many years do this to her child. But all the signs are there. He is a smooth talker, He is well liked I assume  by his piers. He is controling, and always presents himself as arrogant and all knowing.He gains a childs trust by being soft spoken and explains every thing it is erie. I stayed at their house once for a few days and he would go in his room when he came home and lock the door. stay in there for hours. Kids would have to talk to him through the door.  He has kept all things about himself a secret and would not share anything,He keeps lock boxs and will not let anyone have the key.Which would make one think he has something to hidel. He came home beat up one night and the story was he  worked for the a secret organization. just looking at him and you would know that was a lie. He fits the profile to a tee. He has more to his past that is shaddy and maybe worth the investment to do some investigating. Hummmm. I warned my daughter that there was something not right about this guy. I wish she had listened.

This case is still pend ing my fear is nothing will come of it and he will walk away. This happened about  2 yrs ago so it is his word against hers. Isn't that nice. I was molested and raped when i was young and I have no doubt in my mind that this is not a scam. He did this to those girls, and what goes around , comes around.  He who hurts the angels on earth will get their just rewards. He who is in Heaven above will see to it.

 

Who in there right mind could ever do this to an innocent child??? It just absolutely disgusts me to even think about people like this. I believe our justice system fails to keep these people behind bars and I think the government should be spending more of the tax payers money to make new laws when it comes to cases like this guy. I think the law is way to lienent when it comes to sexual predators. They should all be put to death or sent to prison for the rest of their lives and put in the general population of the prisons to let other fellow prisoners take care of them. Everybody knows most prisoners HATE sexual predators!! It makes me sick to think of how our court system handles these people. They get out in no time & put back on the streets to do this to more innocent children. When a child goes through this it scars them for the rest of their lives. It is absolutely hanous and wrong. I have a  2 1/2 year old son & can't bear to think of this happening to him. If God for bid it did (like another message board writer posted), I would become the criminal because I would go after that person with all I had & the sad thing is I would spend the rest of my life in prison. I don't care though because at least I would know some type of justice would be served. It's pointless to let the law handle it because it is just ridiculious the way they punish these offenders. This guy deserves to die & that is the end of story. I feel horrible for that little girl & her family. I hope she can cope with what has happened to her & try to lead some kind of happy life. This is one "sin" I've never seen listed in the Bible.  I've read about fornication and adultery (including incestrous acts), bestiality, homosexuality, murder, etc., all of which carried the penalty of capital punishment--death by stoning or by fire/burning.  I've read where a person could even be stoned for disrespecting (sassing/cursing) his/her parents (Leviticus 20:9).  But nowhere do I see mention of this abominable act--an adult having sex with a child.  Does this mean it was never done?  Or, does it mean it was done and was not mentioned?  I tend to believe the former, since so many other "sins" were listed.  In any event, I'm sure it would have carried the death penalty, and speedily, unlike our system today.  There were no lawyers who would make the victim(s) the guilty party; there was no plea bargaining for a lighter sentence; there were no judges who would pervert justice, at least in many cases; and so on.

 

Thankfully, we have mercy and grace now--forgiveness upon repentance, but adults who perpetrate such abominable crimes should be locked away forever, at the least...  Otherwise, our children are not safe!

I don't know about that...-It seems more accurate to me that this is a variant of crime committed by SOCIOPATHIC people on whatever helpless 'useable object" (victim) they can get their control over...

 

 Most people who do this type of crime hafta have an inability to see victims as fully human...-only objects- in order to fullfil this type of crime.  Truly this is not merely a sytem-wide reaction to being a crime victim yourself to become a abuser...-seems more real to me that the perpetrators have sociopathy instead of merely being products of their own tramatic upbringing... Most crime victims i know don't use that as an excuse to harm others...ONLY SOCIOPATHS do that... 

Oops..-maybe you should go to the library and look up a book on SOCIOPATHY.  It is the fact that some humans don't have any EMPATHY for any one at all.  Never had the capacity and Cannot Develop it.

 

It is WHY some people will stop and consider the magnitude of their crimes on others CANNOT, (-as they're lacking awareness and respect for the spirits and souls of others) and general consensus is they aren't curable. 

 

Lack -o- conscience.  Nope Animals don't do this style of harm to eachother- so don't insult the animal kingdom so loosely by equating diviant behavior of pathological harmful humans to thier kind.

 

P.S.  Baby rapers were around far before the advent of pornography!  probably in exactly the same amount  as society holds today.

it's my clear understanding that childabuse likely stems from sociopathy... Not connected to any previous childhood abuse of  the criminal by his parents.  

 

Sociopaths lack EMPATHY.  They cannot relate to any pain they cause another.  NOR are they interested in learning how. 

 

Some believe if you were abused, then you WILL probably abuse others.   That's patently untrue premise  (-as it insults the empathetic victims, who these people don't ever consider it to go on and begin victimizing others.) 

 

This victim=victimizer view can make any one who was victimized be classifyed as possible threat simply because they were abused...abused by the false beliefs one more time.

that is horrible, that was the age I was sexaul abused at the age of 3  just think what he has already done damaged the child. People like him don't deserve to live, they need to put them in a gas chamber and let him die. We have a man that sexual abused a 10 year old and have 2 counts, somebody told me it was where I get my oild changed done. I never believed it at first when I went through another website and saw his photos. It can be your neighbor, a family member or somebody you would not even think they would do such a sick horrible crime to a child. A child who can't defend themselves, they need to be more strict on child abuse, I think gas chamber would be good.  My real father gave me BPD cause of the sexual abuse and knowing this sick **** done this to this  baby early.

hello, my name is debbie! i have email the dr. phil show before, on just this exact subject!! althouth i know this is going on more and more in our world, and i know there are many people with this problem, i am still trying to get dr.phil's help with my problem with this too!! what can be done to the people who have been informed that this was going on in your family, and they still did nothing to stop it?i contacted child study bureau about my gr/daughter, who i knew was going to be molested, because the mommy of my gr/kids had passed away, and she  was in the care of the step father. the mommy was my daughter!!csb, wouldnd't listen to me about this, they called me nasty names and accused me of being someone that i was not!! they ignored my fears, and by doing this, they allowed this to happen to her!!since then, csb not only let this happen, they also gave the step dad custody of her, without my knowledge, and gave him custody of her, because he didn't want anyone to be able to stop him!!now my 4 grand kids are in a foster home, where no counseling is allowed, because the foster mom does not believe in it!!now kati(gr/daughter) is not allowed to talk to me, she was put in a mental hospital on her last birthday, and no one contacted me then either!! the poor little firl can not even watch all the home movies i have, because she fears seeing the step dad in the home movies!!how can the foster mom think that she doesn't need help? you give all thisw information on how to look for a sex abuser, and what you can do, but when it came to heppening to my own gr/daughter, thowse people you say to contact, would not listen!!what good does it do, trying to save our kids from this happening to them?those people let it happen to her for over 2 yrs!!!still, nothing has been done to get this little girl help!!! what's the next thing i should do? call csb? that's a joke, i did!!  all my efforts of stopping this ,was ignored!!so again, another child sex abuser, who is finally in prison, csb continues to give him say, on what happens to my gr/kids!!!! what is the sense of turning one in? they let  it happen anyways!!!so i guess what i'm saying is, why did i go through all this pain, and i still am going through pain, just knowing no one is actually there to help these poor little kids? thank you debbie
