First up, Dog the Bounty Hunter spewed slurs in a phone conversation with his son, Tucker, and used the N-word repeatedly when referring to Tucker’s black girlfriend, Monique. Monique’s mother, Linda Shinnery, joins the Dr. Phil show via satellite and says she was appalled by Dog’s tirade. Should the reality TV star lose his job over a private conversation? Leave the Dog alone

DrPhill the men you have on your show today, are supposed to be God fearing men. Well, that only works when they don't sit on someones stage and JUDGE someone on what they said. I do not believe that the N word is always used to racially. The meaning of that word is ignorancec, lazy, and uneducated. So Tucker's girlfriend's mom says her family is educated been in the military. Really what does Monique do? Her and Tucker sold a tape, to make money, that's not real educated. They are stabbing thier family in the back and not caring who gets hurt. I thought in the south family was important....

I say give Dog his show back, and accept the fact that everyone has opinions of their own. We are intitled to that we live in America. Remember...we have the RIGHT OF FREEDOM OF SPEECH. And without Dog on A&E, I won't be watching that channel, until they put him back on the air.

I am a property manager for a property in florida I have had people accuse me of charging them a late fee because they were black or I am some white chick wanting extra money and that I HAVE TREATED THEM UNFAIRLY. My job My home has been threatened because I dont belong to the local church. I know how all of you feel as a person who is part Native American I have seen the abused by other people I have been taunted when I was in school. I have been spit on, I have been beat up, I have seen others beaten. I have been denied a job because of my race, I have been misstreated at work and called nasty Indian,that I don't know better. and why do I dare have the gaul to be alive and that I should of Died like the ones who died before me.

It is so sad that a people with a very rich culture be pushed to the back and not reconised by there own community. We do not even have a month to celebrate our heratage. There is black heritage month There is hispanic heritage month. In the history books we look like evil savages people who eat dirt and who kill and don't know better. I have been ther seen that and I know what it is like. I would like to see all Native american also be reconised and see these proud people for who they truely are. The True First Americans.

Hate to tell you, but there's no white heratage month either. And to have an all white club, group, or anything else is considered racist. No all white colleges, no grants based on simply being white, no white student union or all white frat houses.....that's racist.

it would appear that You have a racial problem, I can't believe what I read, why aren't the so called "rappers" getting fired for all the crap they say in their "music" degrading women, calling every other people the N word? Why, I get it, It's OK for them to say whatever they want, they are just expressing themselves, Ya Right.. and speaking of the N word I find it too amusing that we all have to use the letter N when we talk about this..and Yet anyone can call you a M F****r, or kids can swear up and down the street, and This is OK..God forbid, and let us Not forget what some people say about any other race .Again that's OK, don't tell me you can't think of One racial slur used except for in the black race, because I've heard plenty, against the Indian people, Jewish people, people who believe in Allah, whatever..I can go on and on, Fat people, skinny people, poor people, should I say more..Think about it. We are So focused on people using the N word we forget everything else, what is the fight for, Beats me.

Dog and Birth Control

I think it's sad we're still having these discussions about race, but if A&E decides to take this show off the air, it will be a business decision plain and simple. They, like everyone else - including PBS - program schedules for ratings, not quality. The fact that the current schedule of the 'Arts and Entertainment' network has little content left that resembles art should demonstrate that clearly.

I think Dr. Phil had the right position on the birth control. Kids are having sex and the discussion should start at home, but not having birth control available doesn't stop them from having sex. I think another bigger concern was mentioned by one of the guests - birth control doesn't protect against STDs.

We have white flight going on in our neighborhood right now. It's happening every where!!

Whites need to get over themselves and get honest. The majority of whites are racist. Polls say it, studies say it, the census says it! You benefit from white privilege every day and to say you don't means you're lying! Get out there and correct this!

For one I do take offense to you blaming this all on "whites"... The blacks fuel the fire by playing the poor pity on me card my relitives were slaves...I havedated black guys and had a child by one of them .So by all means Feed the fire by blaming it all on the white people when all the rappers out there stop using the word then we can talk....And by all I mean even the white rappers

Yep and point is Black people call each other the N word and it means like homie or friend But When someone else says it Al sharpton shows up! These people need to get a life and start talking about more important issues like you said!

Sick of it.

I am tired of racial garbage, and think this whole situation could have been avoided. I am also tired of the people who think they are the only race that ever takes any of the garbage. I believe a private conversation should be just that, and nobody should have sold the tape to anyone. It is none of our business what Dog says to his son in private. These shows to highlight something like this come down to the level basically of the paparazzi. I don't call anyone names, but if I did, and a child of mine decided to tape it and sell it, they would sure be in the big doghouse, and there is no pun intended.

This entire situation has gotten completely out of hand. 1st of all, is coming on the Dr. Phil Show REALLY going to make any kind of difference? Are people REALLY going to say , "Oh well he went on Dr. Phil's and said he feels terrible and he's very sorry, and he's trying to heal; so lets support him and let him know that we're all human."

The answer, simply is NO. It won't make any difference. Dr. Phil said that there's no better place to go to say he's sorry, but I disagree. Obviously he's hurting about this whole thing; not just because he's losing his show etc. but because he was betrayed... by his own blood...

He's a child of an era that grew up talking and thinking the way his "rant" came off. It is disturbing, but while he grew up, MANY white (or otherwise) Americans talked the way he does. It's a matter of upbringing, and it's not nesissarily racism. I was a child of the 80's, and "Yes sir" and "No ma'am" were common phrases in our vocabulary. The "N" word wasn't, so - we don't say it. He does.

The entire situation is silly. SO many people are SO offended by his conversation, but the fact of the matter is that people his age talk like that, or at least THINK like that from time to time. It's not right, but it's not newsworthy either.

Just because I speak the truth and whites don't like it, doesn't mean what I said was racist. And even if I called him "white trash" it doesn't even compare! There is no history of using that term with oppression. It doesn't have the same effect.

I urge you to educate yourself about racism. I live it. I am very much educated about it!

I would like to find out why they think it is ok to call one another the N word but when a white says it thats all she wrote. I am not racist but this is enough!! These rappers use some of the NASTY language in there songs downing women and african americans.... and everything is fine????

Dog and the N Word

While Dog the Bounty Hunter was giving his apologies on Larry King Live, I flipped over a few channels and came across an episode of Dr. 90210. On it there was a clip of a black woman, her black comedy partner, and a black doctor at a comedy show. The woman and her partner were on stage talking about her experience with the black doctor. Her words were, ... and when he told me that his office was in Beverly Hills, I said, sh*t, aint no n*gger in Bevery Hills!" The black lady was laughing, her black comedy partner was laughing, the black doctor in the audience was laughing, the black people in the audience were laughing. Heck, I was laughing!

Whether Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and your other guests like it or not, the "N" word is nothing more than a slang word. It doesnt have the same meaning it did 50 years ago. If black people dont like the "N" word then THEY need to stop saying it! THEY need to stop calling each other it!
