Topic : 11/09 Debate Dr. Phil and the Bishop

I THINK ALL OF THIS STUFF THAT IS GOING ON WITH DUANE DOG CHAPMAN IS STUPID. He has said that he i sorry and he ment it. leave dog alone. also i think if any one black, white or what ever color you are can use racial surlies that leaves it open for everyone else. so does it mean sence i have used the n word that means i should have my life turned upside down. no it is just a word he was having a privet talk with his son and it should not be in the public eye. he was a father talking to his son and the talk should not of been recorded and sold for money that was very worng of tucker and he should have to deal with this too. the only people that is having to deal with this is dog and beth not everyone envloved with this and all the others are do is making it worse on dog. the word is not polite but it was a talk between him and his son he was not talking to tucker girlfriend. i think that all of this needs to be droped and leave it alone there are millions of people in the world that use the n word so if you are going to go after dog for the covertaion that was privet then you need to tap every one in the world and have them in the public eye for useing the word.

this is not right to make a big deal out of this remember it is just a word in the english language and is translated into many different things.

So now we have to watch what we say in private, too? Dog was having a conversation with his son (Tucker) and didn't know that Tucker was taping it! 

I do believe that Dog is sorry for what he said. We all talk differently in private than we do in public.  I am sure that Reverend Al and Dr. Jakes do also. 

Dog has done a wonderful job of helping out the criminal justice system in the U.S. and the thought of his show being cancelled over something like this is ridiculous. 

I want to see a Dr. Phil Show that features a son selling out his famous Dad for 15G of smack!!

THIS IS NOT CRAZY THEY NEED BIRTH CONTROL IN EVERY SCHOOL THE FIRST TIME I HAD SEX  WAS WHEN I WAS 11 YEARS OLD WITH ANOTHER BOY THAT WAS THE SAME AGE NEITHER OF US HAD SEX SO WE WERENT WORRIED ABOUT STD'S BECAUSE WE BOTH KNEW WE HAVE NEVER HAD SEX BEFORE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL I WAS SO SCARED I THOUGHT I WAS PREGNANT WELL MY POINT IS YOUNG GIRLS ARE GOING TO HAVE SEX WHEN THEY WANT TEENAGE GIRLS DONT LISSEN TO THERE PARENTS ANYWAYS THEY SURE WOULDNT ASK THERE PARENTS IF THEY CAN OR FOR ADVICE ABOUT HAVING SEX  WHATS WRONG WITH GIVING THEM BIRTH CONTROL ITS NOT SAYING HERE GO HAVE SEX ITS SIMPLY SAYING THAT IF YOU DO HAVE SEX OR WHEN YOU DO YOU WILL BE PROTECTED IN THAT WAY BECAUSE US GIRLS DO WHAT WE WANT WHEN WE WANT AND WE EVEN SOMETIMES DO THING INSPITE OF OUR PARENTS.  TEENS GET PREGNANT ALL THE TIME THEY EITHER HAVE ABORTIONS GIVE THEM UP FOR ADOPTION OR STRUGGLE RAISING THEM SO WHY NOT HAVE THAT FOR THEM THESE GIRLS THAT GET PREGNANT FEEL LIKE THEY CANT GO ASK THERE PARENTS TO GET THEM BIRTH CONTROL SO IF THEY HAVE IT AT SCHOOL OR PLANNED PARENTHOOD ITS GREAT THIS SCHOOL IS A GREAT SCHOOL THEY REALLY CARE ABOUT THESE KIDS TO STEP IN AND SAY WERE HERE AND THEY ARE GETTTING PREMISSION FROM THE PARENTS TO BEEN SEEN SO THATS THE PARENTS CHOICE. I HAVE 3 LITTLE GIRLS AND IF THEY CAN COME TO ME I WANT THEM TO HAVE SOMEONE THEY CAN GO TO

This was a private conversation.  I was ashamed I heard it.  It is none of my business.

I still do not know what prompted his comments. If The Dog is racist I do not want to watch his show, ever again.  If he acknowledges he said inappropriate slurs, in private, out of anger, about things that we, the public know nothing...I hope he gets help.

Racism and anger are both wrong.  If one is guilty of either:  keep it away from me.  Get help.

I am not qualified to judge a private conversation and I resent anyone who thinks they are.

First of all, I love Dog's show... But what he said is awful, and I lost a lot of respect for him b/c of it. I honestly do not think he should be fired for something he said in a private conversation though. If that happens, where would it end? Every single person in this country would be discredited in some way, because everyone says something, at some time, that is offensive to someone out there- whether it be about their race, gender, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, or even hair color (yes, I actually have seen blondes get PISSED AS HELL about blonde jokes). Everyone in the world would be carrying around a damn tape recorder, just hoping to catch something! WHERE DOES IT END??

Maybe instead of focusing on all this negative, we should be focusing on happiness and joy. Getting out there, living life, and celebrating our differences with our families, friends, and neighbors. It starts in the home. Only when we teach love, peace, and respect will our children learn it. Remember ya'll, hate is NOT a family value. 

i have watched many talk shows over the years that pretend to deal with the issue of race. in each the host talks about how it is so bad and should be changed. In reality as long as the leaders of the black community continue to make a big fuss about every remark made by celebrities the issue will not go away.

It appears to me that the issue is not about race but about blacks .You rarely if ever see issues on the treatment of other nationalities. To hear their black community talk they are the only ones singled out. But if we look at the big picture the black man is the only one who makes race the excuse for his failure.

Today many Mexicans, Asians and east Europeans are feeling the same discriminations but not from white men only but from all business men. However they continue to work to get ahead, buy homes, build lives.

What the black communities need to do is work together against the blacks who are giving their race a bad rap and then clean up those communities by helping the law enforcement agencies to stem the tide of corruption, drug use and crime.

In stead what you find the black leaders doing is using their race to promote themselves and to better only their lives and no those that are in need.

Before you think I am a redneck and white supremacist  I have worked with and took the side of many of my fellow workers and have seen the good ones strive to get ahead, only to be pounced on by their fellow blacks and coerced into a life of poverty.

If i as a white person were to apply for a job with my hair looking like dread knots, sic, unkempt clothes and a beard my chance of being hire for a well paying job would suffer as well, if every other word out of my mouth was you know, or Like, or some other catch word i would be hard presses to be hired.

I believe because of the black community asking for special considerations to hire blacks is the wrong approach, requiring the black youth to learn and grow is what they should be stressing. it may be going on now on a small scale, but there are many black leaders that are placing there mouth where they won't place their money
