Monique’s mother, Linda Shinnery, joins the Dr. Phil show via satellite and says she was appalled by Dog’s tirade. Should the reality TV star lose his job over a private conversation? about the dog

I truly believe "The Dog" does not deserve to lose his show. In my opinion it's amazing how the word can be easily used by one race and when another race of people decide to tell their son in a private conversation which was recorded without his knowledge (which by the way, is against the law), IT'S ALL OF A SUDDEN A RACIST OUTBURST! I have two daughters who are mixed and I am by far against all racism, but I am also against the hypocrits accusing "The Dog" of being something they are. HOW MANY TIMES HAS REVERENED AL SHAPTIN USED THE TERM "WHITE PEOPLE" OR THE LAWYER GIVING HER OPINION, HOW MANY TIMES HAS SHE SAID, "THAT WHITE GIRL"??!!? The dog was stating in general that they use the N word around there, and he stated in a general form that he is not going to lose his show over a Fn N getting offended by him using that term. It was not directed to his son's girlfriend alone but in general . . . . . WHO CARES!!! Tucker just got out of prison!!!! So what was the conversation about before he started recording. . . and oh yeah. . . since Tucker broke the law of recording his dad without his dad's permission, isn't that a parole violation???? Give me a break . . THE DOG RULES!!!

ok why are you even replying to my message like this. I was and am on Dog's side here. I was just saying that I can see both points of view as to why he didn't show up on the show. I am like you in a way. I never used the N word until I moved to the south. I agree with you that it is the young ones that make everyone else look bad. There are some older ones too just not so many. Anyway I agree that people need to lay of Dog and understand that i was a personal conversation and get over it all ready.

I am so frustruated with you today!!! Yes, what Dog said was wrong. However, I am sooooooo sick and tired of the double standard that is our country today!! I can promise you if it were the girl calling him a "honky" or a "cracker" or whatever words they call us all of this would never have happened!! Why is it that the ONLY people who have rights these days are anyone OTHER than people white people!!! I mean come on then you have only black's on your show so far give me a break!!!! You cal an asian a nip or another bad name what they call their lawyer? I think not. You call a hispanic a mexican and they go to the lawyers and cause a big public to do I think not!! Everyone needs to stop thinking we owe them something I am tired of it!! I have a LOT of black, asian, hispanic and any other nationality you can think of I am sure I have friends of that kind too. I can tell you one thing many black people are pretty upset that a girl and her boyfriend got so upset over a stupid comment by some stupid guy that they caused a big todo!! If I were Dog's son I would have said I am sorry you feel that way, I love her accept it or don't then get over it!! My kids are raised to be nice to everyone regardless of their color!! I was called names in school and I didn't go on national tv and start a commotion. Racism will ALWAYS exist if everytime someone makes some rude comment that national TV has to get involved. People you should be happy with yourself regardless of your color and some stupid word shouldn't be able to break your spirit!!! You should instead feel sorry for the person that made the comment because their lives are filled with hate!!

I've seen racism but what happened with Mr Chapman is NOT it, however in this country today it appears racism only exists against blacks and only whites are capable of committing it.

Hey Dr Phil, why don't you have Kamou Kambon on your show. You do know who he is don't you?

At a panel called "Hurricane Katrina Media Coverage" held at Howard University Law School on October 14, 2005, which was broadcast in its entirety on C-SPAN, Kambon called for the racial genocide of white people in his statement, and made many other controversial remarks.

" The only solution in my estimation is to exterminate white people."The incident did not receive media attention until it was uploaded onto YouTube.

What a great episode- real racism and the media that hides it.

It's so funny to me that he's prays to the high heavens all the time on his show....he needs to be asking Jesus to take the hate and ugliness out of his heart....and more importantly, 'What does he think that God is sleeping when he is calling us this. People don't realize that when anyone calls N***** that they are talking about all black people, because all black people have history related to this name. I say to DOG get over yourself and your show...and how would he react if people said where calling him a greasy head hippie? and his wife well looks like a straight up whore? Bet he wouldn't like that too much...but hey everyone has an opinion and mine is the hell with Dog and ever other racist out there...but don't be so surprised to know that a lot of black people think and know that most if not all white people are racist....even these people that date outside of their race! Are you serious? You sound like a typical uneducated person. YOU do not have any ties to the "N" word besides hearing it in rap music, from other black people and probably by being told by your racist parents that the "white folks" say it because they're racist. News flash honey, racists come in all shapes, sizes AND COLORS!! Sounds to me like you're one. And the fact that you expose your children to any of that is ridiculous. What a parent!! How about trying to break the cycle? Maybe you should ask for the "ugliness out of your heart" as well with the way you spoke of DOG and his wife. I don't remember the name of the young man on the panel but he said that the conversation was between a man and his son and what they said in private should have stayed in private. However the son did a great disservice to his dad by selling the message. And I was surprised by the reaction of Dr Phil and the Bishop that they did not even respond to this young man's observation, What we say in private may well reveal what we really feel but most of the time what say in private is not something that we would say in public. Remember we all do things in private that we would not want published. We all go to the bathroom in private and that is how it should be. So the conversation shoud have been kept private. I think Dog is not only sorry for what he said but by what his son has done to him just to embarrass him. A private conversation should be just that and even though it was published we need to remember what we have said and done that we would not want published. My thanks to the young man on the panel that expressed it so elquently.

Too bad that you didn't watch the rest of it. you missed the part where "Master P" (the rapper) vowed to never use that kind of language again, stating that he was "embarrased" about using it to sell records. You also missed the part where Dr. Phil plugged "Master P's " new album that doesn't even contain profanity! Never settle for half the story....

As for Sharpton, I think he only spoke once, for just a few seconds. He was probably on the show because they expected dog to appear. When the story broke, dog Chapman called sharpton to open a dialog, not the other way around. They were PROBABLY going to address why Chapman called Sharpton. I think that was the case because Sharpton's opinion was only asked once.

The Al Sharpton racists of this world ( and he calls himself a REV-WHAT A JOKE) should take care of all of their OWN problems instead of coming on national tv to act so self-righteous--Its really NONE of their business WHAT Dog said ANYWAY!!!! But I can assure you that we will NEVER hear the end of it--and how nauseating to have that silly rap person with whats his name from naacp....I WONDER how much effort would have gone into a panel for a white person's dilemma? ....not this much--I can promise you that!

A& E should put his show back on--He was one of the FEW guys who was actually doing some good--but Heaven forbid he should say something that "the panel" doesn't like......sooo silly.... Dr. Phil should be ashamed....

I pick up my grandson at the bus stop and I hear the N word all the time from 1st graders. I've even seen them at the bus stop de pants each other. How disgusting all this is you start your children at birth that you are different. Well you are NOT. You are a human so start acting like one.

I have seen so many of their children acting disrespectfully. I have also seen this in other races as well including white. It seems that nobody wants to actually teach their kids anything. They expect the schools to do it for them. I wonder how so many black youths actually pass English. We all know that can not speak it properly.So many times when I have my 18 month old at the park and he is playing on the playground trying to climb up the stairs to go down the swing some liittle black kid comes running up and tries to push him out of the way. I get so mad at stuff like that.
