Why does everyone keep twisting my words around?

 

I DO NOT TRUST ANYBODY DOES NOT MATTER WHAT RELIGION OR RACE. THAT DOES NOT MEAN I HATE THEM.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I have not said that Muslims are not American. I have no idea where you people came up with that.

 

To the other person, yes I would stand up to the KKK and people like that. Honestly there are not as many of them as there are extremist Muslims. Quite frankly you hardly hear about the KKK anymore.

 

The fact is that yes not all Muslims are bad. We all know that so get off my back, but there are a lot of extremist Muslims out there. Again how can we tell the difference?

 

Again I said yes I would stand up to anybody who preaches hatred. Would you, or do you just want to complain about Americans and not ever say anything bad about people in your own religion that preach to hate and kill?

 

I am done with you people for now. You are the ones that just want to whine and complain about Americans being too hateful, when the fact of the matter is there are way more Muslims out there that do worse than just hate and nobody ever wants to say anything about them because they are afraid of them or they are like them.

Serious education is where you need to begin.  You say stand up - well if I meet a fundamentalist I do... or anyone else that is a racist... However, I am not INSANE and therefore do not seek out the crazy people who intend on doing people harm...  That is why I ask would you seek out the KKK.... and funny how you say we don't hear about the KKK or skinheads much anymore... So do you think they are gone??? wow, really? is the only thing I can think of... maybe you need to use the internet to read newspapers instead.... In fact, if you really want to do good read middle east newspapers to understand the culture and people.... they come in English....  By the way... as you keep saying there are muslims out there that do worse than just hate and nobody wants to say anything - YOU ARE WRONG!!!

 

FIRST - there is bad in everybody.... so stop pointing at the religion.... Waco, Oklahoma Fed. Building, Mexico (700 Christians commit suicide), Manson, shall I continue???  How about Colorado City? The list is huge and none of them Muslims, but you want to keep pointing and blaming a religion...  Why don't you begin from within and realize that you have this hate and it is strengthened by our president and government... and reinforced by shows like this one....  Oh, and when people show hate towards anybody - I am the first to jump in and stop it.... BUT I DON'T SEEK CRAZY INSANE PEOPLE.... DO YOU?

 

 

unfortunatelly i missed the show, but the preview for it really stuck in my mind. i got out of an abusive/controlling relationship not too long ago. i wasn't in another country but i was emotionally estranged from my family and it felt like they were very far away. i wasn't really allowed any un-monitored communication with anyone. and i was so scared i couldn't see a way out, but i did get out thank god. and my heart goes out to anyone who is living in fear(both katherine and her family). i still wake-up from nightmares that i'm with the person who abused me and i'm trying to get away but he makes it impossible. the fear is something no one can imagine unless its happening to them. the control is a matter of life and death and such a fine line to walk everyday. coincidentally at the time of my abuse i was working at a middle eastern restaraunt and the owners were very sympathetic and concerned.  no matter the ethnicity or religion of someone its the secret and the intimidation the abuser uses that does the damage. i pray for every woman or girl in this situation because i know just how unbelievably horrible it is at any degree to have someone take a piece of you away everyday.  who knows what hope this girl and her family would have without the Dr. Phil show. good work

That on here all you do is point your finger at how bad Americans are and did not even bother to mention how bad the Muslim extremist are. Everyone wants to say how much everybody else is generalizing but they themselves were doing the same thing.

 

You went on and on about how America is sooooo hateful and not even say how bad some Muslims are getting.

 

I did not mean that you actually seek out the extremist, but actually say that there others that hate. You want to say that I am pointing a finger well you sure were point fingers at America.

 

What I say to people that whine and cry saying it is soo bad here well you can go somewhere else nobody is making you stay. Way to stand up for your own country.

 

 

 

 

I have found out that it is a small percentage of Muslims that are extremist, but because the Muslim religion is the second biggest religion in the world. The number of extremist is quite large.
There are about 1.2 billion Muslims in the world. If only 5 percent of them are extremist then that would be 60million people that could possibly be terrorist. That is a lot of people. How are we to tell the good from the bad? It is obvious that the bad ones have become good liars and for all we know be our neighbors who seem friendly but are secretly planning an attack or they just hate us. The truth is we are at war anb we do have to cautious. That does not mean we have the right to hate all Muslims. Just be careful who you trust. That in itself in my opinion not bad. It seems to me that the peaceful muslims need to stand up against the extremist who hate and want to kill. If there were more of the peaceful muslims standing up against the extremist then Americans would not be so quick to judge.

 

Now I am not saying go out and seek the crazy ones. I am however saying that if we say any protest saying how the extremist are bad and that they need to stop then maybe people outside your religion would see that the Muslim religion speaks is peaceful. Instead all we see are protest from Extremist Muslims sayiing how mych they want to kill all Jews and Christians and how they plan on world domination.

 

I am not saying that there isn't bad people everywhere. The fact is that there are more extremist Muslims than any other religion. You do not hear about any more attacks in the US right now from them probably because they are waiting for America to get weaker.Right now they know that America will not be bullied.So instead you hear about them bombing other places.

 

We cannot be at peace with those who not want to be at peace.

  Hello. I am knew to this message board, but I see many people are wondering when Part 3 of the Katherine story will be on, as did I.  The show will air, Monday, November 26, 2007.

Now I need serious education. Ok whatever.

 

Like I have said a thousand times just because I don't trust someone that does not mean I am a racist or prejudice.

 

Fact of the matter is there are thousands maybe millions of extremist Muslims capable of being terrorist. I do not hate all Muslims, but I will be careful who I trust. We all should. Facts are Facts do not tell me I need an eduation! i can quote more times where Muslims have cause harm than you can any other race or religion. You said something before about Egypt well I can quote quite a few stories about how they treat Muslims better than Christians.

 

Yes there are other people out there that bad. None of us are saying that there aren't. We are not saying that only Muslims extremist are cable of doing harm. So do not go on and on about how hateful Americans are and then say I am the racist one. You generalize too. Stop pointing a finger at me. it wasn't until this last post that you actually admitted that there were other people besides Americans that hate.

 

Really I have come along way since the show. If you talked to me a while ago I would have said that all Muslims were taught to hate and kill. I am not like that naymore. I have done more research. I have realized that there are some good Muslims out there you just don't hear about them as much. The fact still remailns that the number of Extremist is quite high.

 

 

Except, he doesn't really seem to be trying to get a greencard, or even a visa for that matter. I think he is up to something, and it's not good for her. Did anyone believe his "I had a house in Palm springs" story?

Once again ... you assume that b/c I disagree with your position that I must be muslim??? No - I am not Muslim I am Christian and I am black.  You don't here about the KKK b/c the media is not focused on the KKK right now.  Since 9/11 a different culture and race has been the focus of all the attention.  My job involves dealing with crime every day and believe me that hate crime is alive and is not just perpertrated by Muslims.  In fact the statics show that within the USA that muslims are more the victims of hate crime rather than the perpetrators. 

 

As for no one ever spewing hate about Muslims I think you should turn on your TV or open your newspaper  on a daily basis and you would stand corrected on that one! 

 

But I am sure you will disagree.  So be it.  That's why are all different.  I just choose to embrace our differences.

Interesting ... does that last line go along with "get back on the banana boat" or "wet back" .  Wow... you right such cliche racial statements without even realizing it!!!  Right, no one is making you stay.  I guess you should tell that to the slaves who had a CHOICE --- you really like opening a can of worms.   Bottom line to the man who originally responded there is no point carrying on a discussion with someone who can scream I DON"T HATE MUSLIMS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and also suggest for you to go back to where you came from.
