(Original Air Date: 11/19/07) Should you stay in a marriage with your husband if you find out a secret that disgusts you? Michelle thought she had the perfect marriage until recently, when she found out her husband of four years, Wade, was a sex addict and compulsive liar. He admits to cheating on her while she was pregnant, but says since then he's been faithful. Michelle made Wade take an online polygraph test that he failed. Why is Michelle convinced Wade is having an affair, and what proof does she say she has? Wade says there's a simple explanation and wants to take another lie detector test to prove his innocence. When Dr. Phil reveals the results of the second polygraph, will Michelle's fears be confirmed or put to rest? Concerned for the well-being of their two sets of twins, will Michelle decide to divorce Wade or hold on to the hope that their marriage can be healed? Join the discussion.

Only God can help Wade. Dr. Phil you should have corrected Wade when he called your lie detector administrator a "dumbass". I can understand that he may have been upset with the test, but there was no call for the personal attack. We do want to know the end of this saga and sincerely hope that you will follow up on this situation. Thank you.

Confessions...

Wade is crying out for help...and it would appear that help is on the way. However time is of the essence and any unnecessary delays will only result in a tragedy for either his wife and family or for Wade himself.

Throw caution to the wind and err on the side of doing something pro-actively rather than wait till something violent happens. We don't need to see this story end in violence. "Signed" : Concerned in Canada.

Army/Marine

I've not read through all of the messages posted regarding Wade and Michelle. I also have a an extreme interest in Psychology and a natural knack towards helping others. Based on the show that I saw, it seems Wade might be a product of an Army or Marine killer gone wrong. What do I mean?

The Army and Marines, make men killers by brainwashing them at an early age(18) then rebuilding them into what they need. Wade appears to be an ex Marine and in my opinion appears to be like Rambo, he's a killer, that's what he was trained to do. Now he is supposed to come back to the US and fit in with the rest of the population, however the Armed Services does nothing to help change him back to what he was before he enlisted.

Now everyone is afraid of what he might do to his family and wife. If in fact he is ill, then the US Government is to blame and not Wade. They made him. I feel they should be held responsible for what he does. Has anyone given this any thought?

But do we have emotional problems we need to deal with because of these men, YES. I really feel for that woman and I hope that she gets away from him. She needs to just take those kids and run.

I'm sorry, but I don't think Wade is to blame here. He appears to be a product of what our Armed Services has made. He appears to be a Marine who was trained to kill. They tore him down, broke him up, then rebuilt him to be a Marine killer in war. When the war was over, he's supposed to just come back to the US as a normal person with no help? No, give him more credit than that and let's put the blame where the blame lies -- the United States Armed Forces!

I have a deep respect for Michelle to stick with him and help him through this. I honestly hope that they do find he is ill, are able to help him, and he and Michelle can live a normal life.

Give the guy a break, he's been trained by our Marines/Army to be the way he is. I feel the Army/Marines should take the time to straighten him out.

Advice

Hi, Um, me and my friend are writing a fanfiction for Twilight that includes Dr. Phil episodes, but, we need to find an episode that includes marriage, abortions, etc. If anyone could help, please contact us. I know that this isn't the right place, but it was an episode that we are planning to help us. We aren't going to copy the story, just get ideas.

Wade is most likely a sociopath and Michelle feels like she is so powerful to be able to control his demons and protect society from him by staying in the drama.Did I hear there are several children in this family? Great gene pool. The F.B.I.. and local police who are involved with this case are acting very irrisponcible by allowing it to go on. I am speeking from experience. I was Michelle back in the 70's and nothing good resulted from that phyco marriage. It took a year and 3000 miles to get rid of him and my son[not his] and I still bear the scars of that relationship.Dr. Phil ..............I can't believe you are not taking this much more seriously and stop just talking to Wade. That kind of broken can't be reasoned with.

he need help

l belive that wade has very serious problem he sould not be aloud near his wife or kids even through they have said he has post trumatic disorder he needs the help more then you know he should be as far away as possiable from family friend everybody. ldon't feel sorry for him because he seem to do it more and more to his wife that who l feel sorry for is his wife and kids there the ones who be mess up in the end
