(Original Air Date: 11/20/07) Dr. Phil continues the startling story of Wade and Michelle. After the taping of their last appearance on the show, the pair retires backstage, where they immediately get into an argument. Emotions run high as Dr. Phil joins the couple for a talk. Learn how Dr. Phil responds to a tearful plea from Wade. Days later, Michelle calls a Dr. Phil producer and leaves a message saying, "I need big help, and I'm going to tell you something huge, and I'm scared." When Dr. Phil returns her call, find out the shocking bombshell Michelle drops. What does Wade claim to have done that is so extreme, Dr. Phil feels compelled to get the F.B.I. and the state police involved? Saying she fears for her life, Michelle arranges a protective order against her husband, which sets off a dramatic turn of events. How does Wade respond to the court order? Is his embattled wife able to break free from him and also keep their children safe? Find out who paid a visit to relatives to retrieve a shotgun, who may have taken too much Ambien, and who wound up in the county jail for breaking the protective order while purportedly trying to rescue the other from the brink. And when Michelle sits down with Dr. Phil, learn what she says is her reason for carrying on. Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

11/20 A Husband’s Shocking Confessions, Part 2

Boy am I confused, I think they both need help.   Who would stay after being told those things?  Who would actually go with him to sites of apparent  murders?  Who would call calmly, ask for a call back to report that he had admitted to murder?  If we don't want drama, why do we call the person that has scared us to death to tell him about taking too many sleeping ?  How about cutting on herself?  I felt what she said was true on Monday but I wondered on Tuesday.  It would seem that the words she said, and her facial affect didn't match on Tues.

11/20 A Husband’s Shocking Confessions, Part 2

I can't believe this! This woman MUST get as far away from him as possible. He is a danger to her and her children.

Just saw previews for Wednesday's show...is he telling the truth about the murders or is this just some sick twisted lie he is telling to get his thrills? what a monster.

I am anxiously awaiting tomorrow's show for the outcome!

I don't believe his story one bit. He has failed too many lie tests and i believe he made up this story to make people believe that there is something making him believe that he is doing thing that never occured. he is so ashamed of something  that he is never going to admit to and now every one except me has lost focus. i would like for him to take another lie test and answer these questions..have you ever raped someone..have you ever killed someone..i don't believe he has ever did either but if they ask him if he has been with a man i bet the lie test would confirm that he did and thats what i truly believe he is hiding

11/20 A Husband’s Shocking Confessions, Part 2

A phrase comes to mind here, "No victim, No crime", please allow me to explain.

Apparently there was no missing person's report for his supposed victim, now either he's lying or that poor woman was pathetically lonely.  Let's face it, Gary Ridegeway's victims had family looking for them, their pictures were posted, and most of them were prostitutes, the ones you would EXPECT to have no one looking for them, so a woman disappearing in a Suburban Park while jogging is sure to call attention.

No body, now I realize a person can be tried and convicted without a body, however its not really that easy to do, and really unless they scoured the trunk of his car for Blood evidence, how did he dispose of the body, seems to me on a jogging path, especially in a public park or something of the sort, it would make your choices pretty limited, at least that's the impression I got from the previews.  Could be wrong.

Could it be a fantasy of his to rape and kill ? That's a dangerous thought, but seriously is it his way of feeling big and important (whatever happened to lying about the Cadillac you don't have ?), helluva a way to do it, but look at this board, he is probably reading it, and his ego is swelling from the attention he is getting.

Like I said previously, Jeffrey will have to work DAMN hard to be scarier than this guy.

If indeed this is just a fantasy, its just a matter of time before he gets the compulsion to fulfill it.  Personally, I think he's lying, and yes people will lie about something that horrendous, but time will tell whether I'm right or wrong.

sorry, probably not MPD

We do have to rememeber this is entertainment, and it must be built up to a surprise ending so we will watch tomorrow.  I don't understand how he can come back on the show.  I would think just confessing to something of this nature would be enough to hold him in jail while the authorities search for a body or bodies.  So, why is he out and about?  I am sure there is a lot we do not know.

I think we will find out he has multiple personalities.  I did notice while Dr. Phil asked him questions, he answered without any fidgeting, eye movement and with total certainty.  If he did these things as he says he has, then only a severely mentally ill person could react with that behavior.  The "Wade" Dr. Phil was talking to did not commit any wrong, it was the other "Wade".

I don't know why Michelle and the children have been staying in motels.  Where is her family?  Why haven't they stepped up to help her?  Why hasn't Dr. Phil put her up somewhere where the children can have stability?  You're right, there is more to this story and yep, I'm hooked, so I will watch tomorrow.

Respectfully, I have to suggest that you do a little research on Multiple Personality Disorder before you start comparing those unfortunate people with this nutjob. One of my close relatives has MPD or DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) and it's not as scary or psychotic as Wade's behavior. It's mostly just sad. People with MPD/DID are typically not violent (though there have been cases where some have committed crimes). The disorder is extremely rare, and is caused by the affects of severe, prolonged abuse, neglect, or trauma, on a person who is able to practice a sort of self-hypnosis. In the case of my relative, she was an unwanted child, and her family used her as a punching bag and a way to make extra money by prostituting her to pedophiles. She couldn't take the trauma, so her brain switched off and created alters whose job it is to handle these things for her.

Wade did not at all resemble the MPD/DID people I've met. What you're mistaking for MPD/DID looks more to me like a Sociopath or Psychopath (essentially the same thing), and some kind of Personality Disorder (also kinda the same thing). MPD/DID sufferers are NOT emotionless, like Wade. In fact, the ones I've met suffered so much trauma that it's hard for them to hold it in. MPD/DID people can be very manipulative, like Wade, and can also have Personality Disorders, but I just didn't see the switching on and off in Wade that I've seen in MPD. In fact, I saw Wade thinking and calculating every lie as he was about to tell it. His bizarre, unnerving lack of emotion and constant, repetitive lies were really evocative to me of a Psychopath. But I'm not a psychologist and have never met Wade (thank God), so I could be wrong!

Lies & more lies...

There is something fishy to high heaven about this.

I don't doubt that Wade's a liar, cheater, idiot porn seeker...that's been substantiated.  But now he's an admitted serial rapist & murderer??  No missing persons reports.  No bodies or other evidence.  And his ex who he supposedly also raped is keeping quiet for what reason?

The. man. is. a .liar.  But all of a sudden we're supposed to believe THIS?

I'm sorry, but something is also fishy about Michelle.  I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about her seems disingenuous.  As if they're both attention seeking.

I didn't believe that of her at first, but after the cutting incident & the overdose...she did go to the hospital after the overdose, but something about it just doesn't go down smoothly.  OR maybe I'm just becoming more pessimistic with age.

If the police & or FBI find that the rapes & murders did not happen or Wade back pedals (because he has before) about his "confessions" then I should think he'd be in some legal trouble for false claims...SOMETHING.

Seems to me from what we've been shown he's a lying, attention-seeking narcissist.  I'm not sure that can be "fixed".  Wade has shown he really doesn't want to change.  But he sure seems to like the attention a TV show brings.

Dr. Phil would do well to investigate these particular kinds of subjects even deeper, & I believe he already is thorough, before putting people on TV.  His show seems to be turning into more of a sorry tabloid than helpful advice.

is he lying?

What did he do with the girl's car that had a flat tire? Was there tow truck record? So many holes in his story,Could he have said this stuff to his wife to keep her from leaving him? He certainly gives the impression he wants to be feared, maybe his fantasy is to be this made up character and may be dangerous or working up to it.

Husband's shocking confessions

I tend to relate to the message from sjone106.  Today's show seemed fishy for several reasons. One is Michelle calling Wade so he would come to her only to get arressted.

Her facial expressions do not seem to match the story. The first day I wondered why she needed another lie detector test after he already failed one.  I thought it was because she so desperately wanted to believe him.  I never imagined her leaving him.

Both guests are "far out"!  I've known many weirdos, but these are different.  Eager to hear the outcome!
