(Original Air Date: 11/21/07) Dr. Phil continues the dramatic story of a husband’s alarming confessions that have brought a marriage to its knees and rocked a television production. Dr. Phil sits down with Wade and Michelle to go over details of the frightening crimes Wade claims he has committed. He says he has raped and murdered several people, though his memories of certain events are fuzzy. Can Dr. Phil get to the truth? While the police and FBI search for evidence, Dr. Phil asks for details. Did Wade carry out these atrocious crimes, or are they just more lies? And why does he have two memories of the same event, with dramatically different outcomes? Don’t miss the shocking turn of events that no one saw coming! Share your thoughts, join the discussion.

This is the one we warned u about

In this situation, put his butt behind bars, then ask questions later.

Seems to me though the wifey pooh was egging some of this on, with the role playing. Come on now,i

would consider that a little strange to begin with the role playing. You can see that wade does have some anger issues, figure it out, then let him out. My goodness he did confess to not one, two, but three murders. All i could say to the machelle is," get those children out  of there and find them a new daddy. We all know  that it is hard for her to just walk out,  in this case she is really lucky. And thank god that she did turn him in.Maybe this is one less a mother has to worry about. Machelle this is the one your mother warned you about!

what is going on here?  why is everyone treating this guy like he has wronged his wife, instead of like he is seriously ILL.  he needs compasion and intense mental help not his wife bitching at him on national t.v. and the LIE DETECTOR GUY getting personally involved between a husband and wife?!?  phoning her AT HOME? giving her personal advice?  why is she phoning him??  what is wrong with her?  get this guy some REAL help and off t.v.

Important fact or possible evidence

Unless Wade changes his story again he mentioned a tire iron split both of his lips which would also be noticeable to his wife as I to were married and I know she would notice a mark on my face.  Nothing mentioned about that to verify if any was correct.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder

Quote From: systole

I believe Wade lives in a fantasy world and is seeking attention through these confessions.

Although he may look tough and behave tough, I think that he is very ill.  He has sexual dysfunction with women, unless he can fantasise beating them up and raping them.

I believe he tried to be unfaithful, but I am sure he is very inadequate in bed, and told his wife these stories because it made him excited sexually.  Porn for him is a way to sexual gratification, which he can not accomplish without porn.  He is as much addicted to porn as he is addicted to what porn allows him to do, and that is to reach sexual function.

These fantasies, make him seem important and this helps with his sexual problems. I am sorry for all concerned.

I've been in this relationship, and it is very scary.  I don't believe the man I was most recently with murdered anyone (and, I believe Wade may not have either...its a piece of keeping his narcissistic source off balance and staying the center of attention), but this man in my life has been abusive with his family, with me and with his pets.  This disorder creates an "alter ego" that they protect.  The man I'm talking about is a very respected member of his community, a revered person in the religious world and in the professional world.

Their "alter ego" may look wonderful to those outside their intimate circle, but those inside it are brutalized.  The "alter ego" is what I fell in love with.  Then I entered the inner circle and saw the abuse of pets, me and others that ensued.  The good news is that after a twenty-year marriage with this kind of personality, I left after six months with this new person.  I saw it.

It turns out I was trained to accept this from an early age.  My mother is a narcissist, my father, who deserted us when I was three months old was a narcissist, and then my mother married a narcissist when I was ten.  He displayed all the classic symptoms.  I am an only child.  The narcissistic personality sees me from a mile away!

I am overwhelmed at what is going on in this relationship.  I was looking for a follow-up on the website from Dr. Phil since this was aired in November of last year.  How do I find out what happened?  I pray that Michelle and her children are safe.

Need more info!!!

In regards to this show ,I have been watching this series and have to say that obviously this man has a problem wether it is all in his head or he actually did hurt someone (which I hope is not the case).  I do feel that he was right in one aspect, it was very irresponsible for them to let her and the children stay in the home after admittting that he felt that he had killed and would kill again.  It only takes one fleating moment for someone to snap and take another person life.  Llike I try to tell the people  I care about everyday,  you are given a today you are not promised a tomorrow, you can not take back words and action made in anger, all that is left behind is regret.  This whole senario could have come out a whole lot worse than we could ever imagine in just one fleating moment.

Help for wife after husbands affair Wade

I can see how Wade's wife is having trouble understanding the lies and cheating as I have been there in her shoes.  That was something that I made a promise to God vows etc to remain faithful.  Now separated and there are days and nights when I wonder is she with someone now or was she lying as she insists persons that have told me about this were just trying to get between us.  It really does mess with you and your self esteem.  But I won't give her the third chance.  I hope she can pull through this and hope Wade gets the right help.

Commitment danger to self or others.  Until we know for sure err on side of caution and commit him for evaluation and study and until all searching for bodies are over with.

Wade also mentioned his military career where at a bar he killed two persons. No one around when this altercation took place?  Still err on caution side.

Absolutely

Quote From: ctb123

At the end of Wednesday's show, when Wade was angry with the FBI agent Jack, I have to agree with him.  Wade actually loves his wife.  He is crazy, but loves his wife and family.  He is 100% correct in saying that if Michelle was in any kind of danger, she should have been removed from the home.  The FBI has resources and the means to move her to safety.  This was not done.  I have to agree with Wade on this one.  Jack was wrong.  It was a mistake that could have meant her life.  Michelle and the kids should be removed from the situation and Wade needs to....Wade needs help.

I truly agree that no one in their right mind would leave a woman and her children with a murderer!  As I stated in my last post, as a society who protects children, the state would have or should have went in and removed them.  If a grown woman needed to get bad advise from an FBI Lie detector administrator, then she too, is unable to care and protect the children.

Dear Dr. Phil

I am surprised you aired this again if you have no follow up on the story? Or are you going to bring in a follow up soon as you now have the answers?

I am afraid it is all fantasies, in the mind of a man who feels like he is worth nothing.  After serving and being the big guy with a gun, he was just left as a nobody, who was never successful in life.

He is most certainly suffering from some sort of sexual dysfunction, and needs to imagine that he has total control to get an erection.  When he recounted these stories to his wife he became sexually aroused.

I would be interested to know what kind of pornography is his turn on.  I believe it would have to be some form of degradation of women in bondage or something like that.  His wife is a very nice decent woman, far too good for him.  But I think he behaves like this because he needs to feel bad to perform.  He needs to feel she is angry, to be able to perform with her.  He needs to have medical care, but it is too late for his marriage to survive this circus, and I do not believe he will ever be able to function  normally in  any relationship, even with medical care.

I say this as an animal behaviourist for 25 yrs where my clients can not talk and I have to go with what I see in body language.

Dr. Phil show was there

So...the piece that wasn't obvious was that the Dr. Phil cameramen were there.  Whatever was going on, it appears they were, if not in the moment, almost instantaneously there.  I pray that their presence kept Michelle and her children safe.  Did the filming occur later in a reframing of events?  I think not.  For that I give thanks

Wade and Michelle

Yeah, he's in despirate need of help, but maybe so is she.  I think she is suffering with Munchausen's By Proxy, getting her need for drama through him.
