its a pattern

Quote From: ritehere

An American president getting sympathy from Castro!

Kind of sheds light on the whole Summit of the America's thing when Chavez gave Obama that book, doesn't it?

And how about Brazil getting money to drill offshore, helping George Soros line his pockets some more? What about doing some off-shore drilling here and putting some people back to work? What else has been promised away?

I'm waiting to see how our leaders deal with Kadafi's tent pitching plans in New Jersey. Will he be bowed to and warmly embraced?

Its a patterns that keeps happening but never vented. Al-megrahi released to Libya after only spending 8 years in prison for killing 280 people in a terrorist bombing of  a plane. yet we only get wind of it the day before it was going to happen? Our Pres. Knew nothing about it weeks before hand??? I can't swollow that one. I see little outrage ( fake IMO ) from this Pres. and his Admin. NJ is more outspoken about it. Great timing in this release too, NHC over rided the airways and ppl here worried over their own freedoms, to be outraged more about this released Terrorist after only spending 8 years for 280 deaths.

Obama bowing to the Saudi king Abdullah was talked about but not answered, The hole thing with Iran and staying out of their  elections and Nuclear grap. but stincking our noses into Isreals and telling them what to do. pulling out of Iraq without a heros welcome home for winning a hard fought war. Not calling 9/11 a terrorist action but now its a man made actions seperating the folks we see as the terrorist from their actions.  there is more  Obamas patterns in how he deals with our enemies that don't look like they are his enemies. With only one station reporting the connections and asking questions is not causing public demand in knowing more, and now we have this admin. trying to shut it down. then where would we be?

It sure did!

How was your weekend?  Did reading House Beautiful inspire you to decorate?!

Even if we did make abortion illegal, the back street butchers, and the underground doctors would perform them, and make more $$$$$

I don't know about that.  For sure, though, they would not be able to lay claim to taxpayer $$$$!  For more information on the pre-Roe abortion statistics compared to now...

http://www.justfacts.com/abortion.asp

I was having terrible problems with a leaking roof in the sunroom, so in May, I got this team to totally redo the roof with a greater pitch, but since it had been a deck as well, they raised the grade of the deck's floor, and now, I have a nice, dry sunroom.   Decorating the sunroom will be my Fall project!

I agree with you that making abortions illegal would stop our taxes from funding them.  I do know that the doctors would take in tons of money, not claimed, and therefore avoid paying tax on this money, so either way, we get screwed.

It would definitely limit who could get abortions, making them available to "those in the know", and with money.

I was SHOCKED to learn the number of doctors who were performing them in their homes, but these stats were not reported.  For one, they were illegal, and also, it was unclaimed income, so there can never be full disclosure of exactly what did go on pre-Roe V.Wade.

I doubt we will see the abortion laws changed, although the late term should be challanged as human rights violations.

If it wasn't done in the Reagan or Bush years, it surely won't come about at this time.

I think they will play it to the hilt

Quote From: ritehere

In the wake of Ted Kennedy's very recent passing, there's talk of using the event to rally support for the flawed healthcare bills before congress. "Pass it for the Gipper, he would have wanted it!" and similar such nonsense.

First of all, "The Gipper" was President Ronald Reagan. Secondly, I think the sentiment is a misguided and desperate attempt to gain support for a bill that should never see the light of day.

What do you all think?

Death is such a great tool to deify a public figure.  Maybe Kennedy would have wanted it, but those who don't, should not get into the pep ralley mode that brought us into this Administration in the first place.

Kennedy was known to compromise, but in the past year, he wasn't well enough to do much of anything but express passion for something he may not have clearly understood.

From what I have read about the ideology of Kennedy's Health Care Reform, although I didn't want it, differed from Obama's, IF you can comprehend what he isn't saying.

I hope it fizzles.  I am sorry the man died, however, I don't have to accept in death what I rejected during his life.

Kennedy bought himself, and his family members a LOT of silence.  The drinking, the drugs, the sexcapades would have ruined a man with lesser connections and financial fortune.  SO much of that family had "bought silence", it's difficult to admire a man who took part in all of it.

What are you doing 9/12?

There's going to be a HUGE Tea Party in Washington DC 9/12. I won't be able to make it to that one, but we are having a rally on the state capitol steps again that I will attend.

If any of you missed Glen Beck's week long series, I urge you to go to his website and read up, and then find a tea party to make your voice heard.

It doesn't matter what colorful names the far left leadership comes up with, names cannot deter us or discourage us.

Turning off our connection to the internet

I've been reading up on the Bill being laid out in the Senate by Jay Rockefeller, Giving the W.H power to disconnect the privvate scetors computers from the Internet in emergency. Well that to me is  scary as hell when we also Have LLoyd as the Obama FCC guy and all his ideas for our radio and  News by cable.

Giving this W.H total control over what we can recieve. This kind of crap is not like France kind of Socialism but 3rd world country kind of control.

To my mind, the really scary thing is that none of the connections or allegations that Beck made were refuted by the White House or Congress. There's been absolute silence.

Its only been 8 months!!! but oh how have we changed

As seperate points they raise little flags, together it raises huge bright flags that never get answered. Its even a little weird to talk about because it so unbelievable. Do you really want to have a convo. about whats going on in your mind with someone you don't trust, in fear they might think your nuts because they themselves have not looked into who is around Obama??? Where safe on this board we all have been questioning everything around the unknow man that won the highest seat in this country before he won.

but what about the ppl that over looked and ran from those questions. What do you say to them? Will they go and look these ppl up to form their own opinion or will they wait for the media to do it for them? Why isn't the media doing their JOB? The Hole Obama Admin is a wet dream to news reporters from days past, so many rocks that have questions oozing from them yet they walk away from them some even cover them up hoping no one will see them at all. Our news Media has even turned on its ppl who watch them and call them stupid for bending down and picking up those rocks they chose to walk over. I feel like I'm in a bad movie, Where we have Czars and marxist and communist sitting in the W.H advising the Pres. and there is talk of taking over our air waves and controling our abilities on the internet. If ppl speak out Question whats going on they are branded and talked about as being UnAmerican.

This is not a bad movie with the unthinkable brought to life, Its what is happening now, today.

Let nothing pass-

I think there's emminent sense in the move to let NOTHING PASS CONGRESS until they start making sense in an American, constitutional, capitalistic republic way.

What do you think of the fact that ACORN and its affiliates have been awarded the same amount of money that our armed forces are budgeted?

What is wrong with this picture?
