February 5, 2008

For the past eight years under the current Republican presidential administration, we've witnessed America's economic system go from bad to worse. This administration has committed thousands of American soldiers to a war that is not justified because 'weapons of mass destruction' were never found, which is what the United States supposedly went into Iraq for. We all know that Osama bin Laden is alive and well somewhere in the world, and the President has yet to bring this man to justice before the American people to stand trial for acts of terrorism and murder committed on U.S. soil on September 11, 2001. Why? The Bush and Bin Laden families have financial ties, which have existed for many years.

Although I believe that our Federal Government is indeed one huge corporation, and there is nothing no President can do whomever he or she may be that will change institutionalized governmental gangsterism, I still believe in some kind of change which is why I voted for Barack Obama today. Like so many Americans, I desire to see a few changes in this country. I'm tired of this Republican-run White House and a bunch of men in power who really doesn't have this country's best interest at heart. I'm tired of making excuses for politicians whose heart has waxed cold toward elderly citizens and the poor. There are far too many churches and Christian (Republican) politicians in the state of Georgia for thousands of people to be homeless. It irritates me to no end that Georgia is a republican state. I am sick to death of some of these silly-ass laws currently in place, which continuously perpetuate institutionalized racism which also includes discriminatory practices, racist/prejudiced attitudes and behaviorism in all facets of American life. I want all Republicans who hold positions of government (local, state and federal) in Georgia to be voted out of office or run out of office.

You have caused American taxpayers billions of dollars on senseless projects and wars! You have bankrupted this country to the point that now foreigners devour it in our midst! You have bullied foreign nations to the point that now they hate America and would like nothing better than to see this country's demise!

Based on the economic hardships Georgia citizens (really citizens across the entire nation) are currently experiencing, another Republican president for another four-year or eight-year term would not be in this country's best interest. In fact, the powers that be would love to see another Republican president in the White House so that their agenda(s) could continue to be carried out. There are powerful people in this country that wants America to become more economically crippled. They want more terrorist attacks upon U.S. citizens. Why? So they could declare martial law, take away civil liberties, and finally, change the Constitution of the United States in order to establish a dictatorship in this country. This may sound unrealistic, but it's not.

A Barack and McCain...

I live in an unimportant state:  Idaho.  It is a LOT more Republican than Georgia.  Sometimes, a hundred  people attend our Democratic caucus.  Did you happen to see what happened out here this year?   Five thousand people had to be turned away because there was no room.  86% of them voted for Barack Obama!

Throughout the country, we have not seen this kind of enthusiasm for any candidate since Robert Kennedy.

Barack reminds me of all the things I loved about Bobby:  opposition to the War, health care, honesty and justice in politics.  "Because The Dream NEVER Dies!"

give me a break!

It irritates ME to no end that people use the race card to the death.  There is so much reverse discrimination in this country that of course the race issue will never be resolved.  It hurts me to my heart because I see such anger and hatred for white people because of the horrific mistakes our ancestors made.  I am so so sorry about that but please stop teaching your children to hate us.

You also mentioned how many Christian churches there are in Georgia to take care of the poor and elderly.  I agree with you on that issue 100%.  I do not think it is the responsibility of the government to care for its people, but the responsibility of each of us.  How can you, in good consience, vote for a man that is part of hate for ANY race?

Good GRIEF.  NO ONE CAN CONVINCE ME THAT OBAMA DOESN'T AGREE WITH HIS PASTOR JEREMIAH.  If MY pastor preached hate for African Americans or irish americans or ANY race, we would leave and find another church.  Come on Now.  He has chosen to listen to the hate filled rants of pastor Jeremiah for 20 years.

I am so freaked out.  I cannot believe that many black churches preach this hatred, but i have been assured its so from some of my black friends from the lowcountry of SC where I gew up.  It is appalling and ridiculous in this era and not to be excused or taken lightly, as it has been swept under the rug by the liberal chicken little syndrome suffering media..

If the opposite had occurred, the candidate would have been run out of town on a rail.  Jesus does not condone this behavior and neither should we, as a melting pot nation.  We should not tolerate hate for ANY race.  How can we ever, EVER expect to resolve this issue and love everyone?God help us all and I pray this country returns to God.

(As numerous others on Oprah's message boards were, I was not offended by obama's remark about his 'typical white gmother'.  Too many people are offended by any and everything under the sun.  How can we be at peace with others if we are so angry and hypersensitive?)

What Does offend me , though, is that Obama is still in the campaign race.  How stupid are we?  How can we say we believe he doesn't agree with his pastor that he has not only likened to famiily, but has subjected his children and wife to for 20 years BY CHOICE?

A pastor that blatantly affirms his hatred for 'the man' -whites- and a god who is against the black community.  Sounds like he has paranoid schizophrenia to me.

How can we, AS AMERICANS,OF IRISH, ENGLISH, AFRICAN, HISPANIC, ASIAN, ETC DESCENT ELECT A

LEADER for OUR country that CHOOSES to listen to hatred for ANY race/any one????????//

ANy wrongdoing/sin BEGINS in the mind, so if you feed your mind hate and trash, that is what will be manifested in your actions.  I am soooo afraid for this nation!!!!!!!!!!!!

Barack Obama = HATE

Jay Leno comments about govt

Jay Leno wrote this.......

'"The other day I was reading a Newsweek magazine and came across some poll data I found hard to believe.  it must be true, given the source, right?

The newsweek poll alleges that 67% of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed, and 69% of the country is unhappy with the performance of the president.  In  essence, 2/3 of the citizenry just ain't happy and want a change.

So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, what are we so unhappy about?

Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week?

Is our unhappiness a result of having air conditioning in summer and heating in winter?

Could it be that 95.4% of these unhappy folks have a job?

Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?

Maybe it is the ability to drive from  the Pacific ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move through each state?

Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter?

i GUESS HAVING THOUSANDS OF RESTARAUNTS WITH VARYING CUISINE FROM AROUND THE WORLD IS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Or could it be that when we wreck our car that emergency services show up to provide services to help all, and even send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.

Perhas you are one of the 70% of americans who own a home.  You may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of  a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames, thus saving you, your family, and your belongings.

Or if, at home watching any of your flat screen tv's, a burglar or prowler intrudces, an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss.

This all in the neigborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents.  Neighborhoods where 90% of teenagers own cell phones and computers.

How about the complete religious, social, and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of the world?

Maybe that is what has 67% of you folks unhappy.

Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen.  No wonder the world loves the US, yet has a great disdain for its citizens  They see us for what we are. The most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don't have, and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.  We could still live in Europe, Africa, or China etc.

i know.  I know.  What about the president who took us into war and has no plan to get us out?  The president who has a measley 31% approval Rating?  Is this the same president who guided the nation during the dark hours after 9/11?  The president who cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession?  Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all of the spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist attacks?

The commander in chief of an all volunteer army that is out there defending you and me?  Did you hear how bad the president is on the news or talk show?  dID THIS NEWS AFFECT YOU SO MUCH, make you so unhappy that you couldn't take a look around you and see all the good things and be glad?

Think about it............... are you upset at the president because he actually caused you personal pain or is it because the 'media' toled you he was failing to kiss your sorry ungrateful behind every day.

Make no mistake about it.  The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases have died for your freedom.  there is currently no draft in this country.  They didn't have to go.

They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a 'general' discharge, an 'other than honorable' discharge', or , worst case scenario, a 'dishonorable' discharge after a few days in the brig.

So why the flat out discontent in the minds of 69% of Americans?  Say what you want, but I blame it on the media.  If it bleeds, it leads, and they specialize in bad news.  Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts.  How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner?  The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations.  They orffer what sells, and when criticized, try to defend their actions in one way or another.  Just ask why they tried to allow a murderer like O.J. Simpson write a book about 'how he didn't kill his wife but if he did he would have done it this way;?    INSANE!!!!!!!!

Stop buying the negativism you are fed every day by the media.  Shut off the tv, burn newsweek, and use the NY times for the bottom of your birdcage.  Then start being grateful for all we have as a country.  There is exponenetially more good than bad.

We are among the most blessed people on earth, and should thank God several times a day , or at least be thankful and appreciative.

With hurricanes, tornadoes, fires out of control, mud slides, floods, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, 'Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance"?

just because someone is popular does not mean they are good.  It probably, 99 x out of 100, means they are dangerous.

A Barack and McCain...

Obama talks the talk of a political person.   I am not happy with any candidate and feel what we have

to choose from is sad.  I won't vote for Obama don't trust the guy, don't like him, makes promises that he has no control over.

As far as voting Republicans out, the state I live in did that.

NOTHING changed only our taxes went up and unemployment went up.  So they are ALL alike.  They all don't do squat and promise things they can't deliver.

Obama talks about change, but what exactly does he plan to change? And how? My guess is that the majority of the crowd who turned out for the caucus in your state were Black people who had never turned out before for any political candidate. Obama is getting the Black vote and the vote of White men who do not want a woman in the White House. Seems to me that there is far more predjudice toward women than toward Blacks.

Economic Hardships...

The report on the unemployment rates for the first quarter of 2008 comes out today, with  dismal hope at best.  The nation is in a recession, plain and simple and has been for about 6 months.  No president has that much power over the economy, however.  The economy goes through cycles of peaks and troughs, usually declining congruently with the housing market.  Bush isn't my favorite president, but I think he's LESS rascist than Obama.

Rev. Wright anyone?

Obama  stayed in Wright's church for 20 yrs listening to that rascist crap.  That has been planted firmly in Obama's brain, you have to be crazy not to see that it will affect how he runs the country and foreign affairs.

"God dam America"?  What is that?   Wright blamed America for the 9/11 attacks, saying we brought it on ourselves!  He repeatedly morally justifies the denunciation of America in his sermons, and I believe would morally justify racial genocide in America in 2008.  He needs to get back in his time machine to address racial issues from 50 + yrs ago.

And of course, who could forget Wright's ties to Ayers and the Weather Underground, a terrorist organization, and the Rev. befriended Ayers while he was still unrepentant about the bombings, wishing he would have done more!  Wow, and BHO was a member of this hate spewer's church for 20 yrs!
