Yes, Karen needs to get the hell out and away from this pig abuser.  She needs a Hero:  to help her NOW to get employed - she feels trapped because she has no money of her own, to escape this terrible man (little boy really). 

Karen, if you're reading the boards here, listen to us!.  We know you want OUT of the marriage.  It was written all over your face.  You deserve better - and so do your children.

Don't let that poor excuse of a husband threaten or intimidate you to NOT follow-up on Dr. Phil's resources to help you.

Just an idea here:  get back in contact with either family or friends, who you can live with until you get on your feet financially.  Get out of the isolation your abuser has placed you in.

I'm concerned your abuser will hurt you worse - after being on the Dr. Phil Show.  So take charge and protect you and your children.  If your abuser lays one hand on you - you call 911.  That's what the Police are there for.  Get a restraining order if necessary.  This abuser does NOT love you - he only wants to control and abuse you.  Had enough?.  Yes, I think you have.

Somebody out there, whoever you are, wherever you are:  help Karen get on her feet financially, so she and her children can live in peace, away from her abuser.

Any takers?.  I'm serious here. 

Just help her pack up and get the hell out of that house -- and out of harms way.

Remember, there is no shame in accidentially picking up parasitic vermin. The shame is in KEEPING them!!!

I saw the show to-day and my heart goes out to Karen, who showed no tears....no emotion....nothing....

to such abuse in her and her childrens lives. It is easy to see how deeply this man has crushed her soul and spirit.    May her eyes be opened to the reality of her situation, and she may find the courage to move on.  She and her children will surely be in my prayers. 

We had a Yankee family move in next door to us about 9 yrs ago and from the start he began trying to rule the neighborhood and me!  I am about 15 yrs his senior and am a Southern Christian gentleman who enjoys being a good neighbor and having good neighbor s.  He is an engineer who is also an only child.  He has too many toys.  He enjoys making smart,cutting remarks and giving unsolicited advise and critisizes everytone around him.  Ihave heard him screaming at his son like a dog and his wife is a little mouse who is afraid of him because of his violent temper.  He has broken  community covenants by doing auto mechanics continually in his yard and refuses to quit.  I have had all I can take of him and want to move but due to the slow home sales and the drop in home pries, I cannot afford to move. 

Does anyone have any suggestions to help us?
