How would you feel if an airline banned you for how you looked? According to two young women, they’ve been banned for life from flying Southwest Airlines. Sarah and Nisreen made national news when they were escorted off a plane because they say the airline had a problem with them because they were “young and decent-looking” and their flight attendants were “middle-aged.” Southwest denies treating the women unfairly because of their appearance and says the women used vulgar language, obscene gestures and aggressive behavior. Joining the conversation is Kyla, who says she was told by Southwest that her outfit was too skimpy, and two other passengers who say the airline booted them because they were women. Then, McKay is a 15-year-old on a mission to end cussing. He founded a No Cussing Club at his high school and wants to inspire others to stop swearing and examine the power of words. McKay’s campaign has even motivated his mayor to pass a proclamation for a No Cussing Week in his hometown. Don’t miss reactions from the teen’s family and classmates! If it’s happening now, Dr. Phil is going to deal with it now! Join the discussion.

No Cuss makes a kid wealthy

I notice the web-site has lots of ads, sponsors and other idications that there might be a serious financial opportunity here.  How much does McKay earn for every tee-shirt sold?

Wouldn't it be nice to hear that the money goes to, say the Susan G. Komen Cancer Fund?

Or is that too much to ask?

Pay the kid, then

Quote From: zimexlady

Today's youth think it is grown up to use foul language when it only shows low class status and lack of education. It is childish, vulgar and filthy to be unable to express oneself with words containing more than four letters.  The married couples on Dr. Phil's shows are rude and ugly to each other with their dirty mouths.  They show no respect, class or taste. I find it offensive. But then, I am educated.
How much does this kid  profit  from selling tee-shirts?   If you don't mind being scammed, at least  you  won't be offended while getting fleeced.  Or not.

Dr. Phil,

I can't believe that you had those pictures at the end of the show.  They were provocative and I was personally offended.  We don't condone pornography but that WAS PORNOGRAPHY.  We as Christians want to guard the eye gate.  I was embarassed with my husband watching beside me.  I thought we could count on you to produce programs that would be of the highest calibre.  This was feeding that girl's publicity.  You questioned if she was trying to get publicity.  You just gave it to her.  I am losing my faith in you as a role model for Christian leadership and television.  Eleanor

Don't Hate Me Because I am Beautiful

Dr Phil what have we done to annoy you lately that you bring back the short skirt lady and her spoiled rotten step sisters?

"Why do you have to keep focusing on my lies?  Pay attention to where I want this topic to go!"  I can't believe the tough old Texan was grabbed by the longhorns by some spoiled, ill mannered southern belles.

I thought that we saw the last of Kyla?  Why is she there again?  And the only reason I have been seeing anything about SWA on tv was because Dr Phil had a show about it.  Maybe it is because I am on the east coast but the only thing in the news that I see about SWA is they were flying planes that were not safe and the Federal Aviation Administration fined Southwest $10.2 million.  I would rather see topics that are actually interesting.  To me is sounds like he is doing nothing more than bringing these girls on and trying to discredit them and endorse SWA.

It is frusterating to see him do these shows on SWA all the time, come on there has got to be other stuff to talk about on his show.

I'm very disappointed in you Dr. Phil. I've watched your show for years every day. The last few days have been very disturbing. You always talk about the wellfare of the younger generation. Not only did you let this young woman back on the show after she said she wouldn't do another talk show, you also allowed the indecent pictures of her prancing around in her underwear when the credits roled. I don't beleive she has any respect for herself.  Everytime she has been on TV, she can't seem to cover herself up. As for those other girls, I'm sure the other passengers are correct about their loudness and disrespect for others. I've seen it many times flying up and down the east coast. All these girls, can't call them women, want is money.  First is, I want an apology....well wait I've talked to a lawyer.   How does Robin feel about this situation?

NOT WORTH MY TIME

I tuned in today, Dr Phil, seen the spoiled brats on and turned you off. I would't waste my time watching females like these trying to defend themselves after bad behavior. Females like these have no respect for others. Their feelings are :   ITS ME  ME  ME!!!!!!!!!!  And they get TV time to try to make themselves look GOOD and possibly get a reality tv show. All tv is nowdays is reality shows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'll tune in another day. Hopefully I will see someone who deserves to be seen and heard.

I hate the idea of cursing, but  I have no right to tell the person next to me to stop doing such. This proposition is the manefestation of stupidity in itself.  First, if we start banning words, how much longer will it be until we begn burning books? Next, why should it matter if I swear or whatnot? If I substitute the word, it doesn't make me any less hateful or nicer. It's not the word in itself, but the definition that counts. I think "cussing" is bad taste, yes. Still, we cannot continue this nonsense: being nicer is all well and good, but don't push it upon other members of society.
There are laws against public profanity in many communities. And, people have been arrested for this.

Kyla

Wow that Kyla played it good didnt she.  She was just on months ago embarrased of how she was treated on the plain, wanted to get it out there that swa didnt treat her right on her flight.  Yet she was talking about 15 min of fame, while showing a pic of herself posing for playboy.  Are you kidding me?  She was so smug and full of it.
