Women beware: Men are on the prowl! Some guys win your heart and dupe you for thousands of dollars, while other men learn the slick techniques of pick-up artists so they can get you in the sack! Go inside a classroom where single men are being taught The Mystery Method -- a step-by-step technique on how to meet, attract and date beautiful women. The instructors say this method teaches guys to be more confident. When the students hit the bars, will The Mystery Method help them land a lady? What do the women think of their techniques? Then, meet Ross Jeffries, the self-proclaimed "Father of Seduction." He says he’s taught thousands of men to seduce women through language. Now he fears that he’s created monsters, because many of his followers are seducing woman through deception, and he says that’s exactly what The Mystery Method is all about. A heated debate ensues between Ross and The Mystery Method instructors, Nick and Scott. Is Ross’ technique actually as benign as he claims? And, Victoria says she fell in love for the first time with a guy whom who she thought was the perfect man, until he she says he ended up scamming her out of $100,000. Did Victoria miss the warning signs? How can she pick up the pieces of her broken heart and move on? Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

Yea, no kidding

I know a lot about the "seduction community" because I was an active member for several years before I settled down and got married.  The second guest, Ross Jeffries, does deserve credit as one of the originators of some of the pickup techniques mentioned on the show.  But please keep in mind that he is in competition with the guests who were advocating the far more popular "Mystery Method".  There are many of these seduction schools, and there is a lot of fighting among them as they compete for students.  Jeffries' extreme ego and decline of his business are the reasons why he spent so much time on the show trying to "warn women" about pick-up artists.  He was just trying to hurt the competition.  Jeffries' techniques can be just as deceptive and insulting to woman as any other.

04/11 Women Beware!

Quote From: marie492006

I have gone through the exact same thing as Victoria, I believed this man really loved me & wanted to spend  the rest of his life with me. I am much older (51) and will never trust a man again.

I had warning signs only after we purchased a house together, the abuse started, he brought women to our house & on it goes. I gave him lots of chances to make the relationship work but he was only in it for his financial gain.

I know his scams didnt start with me as I have read letters from one of his girlfriends, & it will not end with me. Once this matter is settled in court I plan to do a web site to warn others not to be scamed by him.

I would love to hear from Victoria!! How are you ever going to trust anyone again??

ANYtime a man asks a woman for money in ANY amount....it should be a red alert!! Especially if he professes to have money of his own and tells you "it's tied up in blah blah blah".....or, "it's just a loan until blah blah blah...." or "baby, baby baby......blah!!

When I was engaged to my husband in 1959 he asked me for 25 cents for a pack of cigarettes....(yes that's how much they were then)...and I told him, "NO!! I do NOT give money to men!" I knew better. He was mad at me for a couple of days, but tough! He got over it.

If some man (or woman for that matter, because there are predatory women, too) gives you some happy horse crap story....check it out!! We live in the age of the information highway...any information you need is out there. Use it! If you don't take advantage of every available resource in order to protect yourself,( and if you don't use common sense)....then you leave yourself wide open for disaster.

Any time something seems too good to be true...it is!

04/11 Women Beware!

Why can't women or men go to the police dept and request a back ground check on people they are worried about or get a gut feeling things are not quite right. This should be public records.

This information is readily accessible on the web. These days, you can run but you can't hide.

Sad when men and women alike can't communicate.

I feel completely disturbed about the thematics concerned within this episode of, women beware.

The true thematic of this episode is that men and women have culturaly evolved apart for so long that they can no-longer truely communicate with one-another - their ideologies have become too foreign between one-another.

I completely understand why men alike would try to educate themselves to do with approaching women; speaking and/or approaching women these days is like trying to decipher some comprehensive code.

And requires far too much time and effort in understanding on men's part. I just do not understand why women in general could make an equally appreciable effort to relate to men to do with the introductions.

If men and women are truely equal in all things valued, then it would only be logical that women begin to appreciate men for who they have become as individuals.

Societaly, there needs to be common ground re-established.

No more thematic feminism that dictates women have and will be screwed and therefore deserve the best of all things, a society that worships beautiful women in all its propagandic forms, and economics being the perferred value only giving reason for men and women to fight.

(as a dark note, I find it patheticaly sad that so many women can be swayed by words alone - they cannot be all that gullible.)

Aside from economics - what do women want ? What is at the base (the very root of it all?)

Don't be fooled

In response to the comment the last female guest made on the show regarding "in the future only dating police officer, FBI agents, etc."  I am currently separated from a career police officer who maybe didn't "scam" me for money, but totally lied about who he was.  Don't be fooled thinking someone in those professions are "honest, reliable or aren't hiding anything" or you are out to be hurt again.  After 1 1/2 years of marriage, I found my husband's bi-sexual, swinging, open for sex with anyone with no age limits website.  I knew my suspicions of him hiding something all along were not wrong.  He hid and still to this day lives a double (at least) life.  In his own words, don't trust a cop or anyone in any secretive type of career.  Many professionals use this as a screening device to hide their true self.

Does anyone know the website for Victoria's story? I have a friend sounds like the same exact story with a guy she met in Vegas and said he was a NFL player.

Why Not?

Hey we have the RULES BOOK on how to get a man. There are even classes on how to hook a man. There are classes on how to kiss. There are hundreds of books addressed to women to hook a millionnaire. Which places are the best to hook a millionaire etc etc.

So if women are doing the same thing..I don't see what is wrong with men doing the same thing. Women use this power to get what they want and probably leave broken hearts and penniless men along the way.

It's harder for men to get a man than a woman.  So some men are using it to invalidate women, women are doing the same thing. So what's the fuss about?

Men and women get fleeced all the time..it's not a new thing. It's there since the world was made.

So I think it's a big fuss over nothing..women are just getting the same thing they are doing to men.

Yuck!

I T'IVO Dr Phil so just watching this episode.  I wouldn't talk to either of those men who run these classes.  The one with the double earrings, is he not sure of his masculinity?  The other sounds like he's talking with mucous in his throat.  Are men so gullible that they would trust these two to tell them what to do?  I'd rather meet a man who can be himself, even if he's shy, or stumbles over the words he wants to convey.  I think that's more natural and women are smart enough to recognize that.

Reason being..

Quote From: fromthesquare

Did any one see the movie with Tom Cruise called "Magnolia?"  Tom played a "motivational speaker" who hated women.  It made me phyically ill and I walked out of the theater.  The second guy reminded me of this role.  He does not only seem to be helping men get dates- He seems to hate women.  Creep!
That's because the part Tom Cruise played was inspired by Ross Jeffries. There's no coincidence there were similarities.
