Topic : 07/22 Male Egos Out of Control

Ok, we know...we know..as men we are not allowed to be sexual...(without paying for sex in some direct or indirect way). There  is such an obvious double standard here. It is seemingly perfectly ok for women to strategize and manipulate men in order to get them to marry them (ie; the book The Rules), but as soon as a guy has a strategy for getting sex he is demonized.

We know from evolutionary biology that with all mammals there is a conflict between males trying to pass their genes on (as effectively and strategically as possible ie; having sexual relations w/many different females), and females trying to keep males around so that their offspring have a better chance at survival. So big deal, this is nothing new. All mammals act this out in one form or another. It doesn't take the Dr. Phil show to shed light on something that every psychology professor already knows has been happening throughout all of time. That is of course unless you are uneducated and "shocked" by this new revelation.

So..what I understand from this show is that these "poor women" can't make up their own minds in the heat of the moment when deciding whether or not to become sexual w/ Paul. Give me a break. To me it is very demeaning (to women) to suggest that women aren't intelligent enough to make decisions for them themselves when they are being "seduced" by a man. It implies that the men in general will always be able to outsmart a women.

Also consider this,....These women dress sexual, go out to clubs w/the intention of meeting men, then get upset when a man is interested in what they are advertising. These women would NEVER be satisfied marrying the local manager of a K-Mart , with average looks, and a 30k a year salary. They want attention, and they want to meet "hot guys." If they think they are being taken advantageof then, STAY HOME! from the meat markets, or just tell him to buzz off. He isnt going to rape you on a public side-walk.
