You, must understand that there is more to this story than was able to be shown in just one airing.  Anna is under a lot of scrutiny and Dr. Phil  is very capable of working thru the issues that are so complicated.  The show ended with a lot of questions and concerns.  It was intended to be that way, due to the sensitive nature and the on going investigation. 

I feel that I know enough to help clarify some things that came across as negative.  The footage captured and showed only part of teen girls, one of which not even her own, but that she had taken in (a runaway) getting caught sneaking out, having boys there when she was gone... and actually the other report about dope (seed) was when another young teen (boy who had left the cult) was living with them.

When someone leaves an environment so strict and abusive, often problems arise.  The very act of managing a household, let alone trying to find a job that pays sufficiently with little or no skills, then combine teens that are experiencing their newfound freedoms.  WOW! More than enough for any parent. 

Do not forget what the true nature of this story was begining to show.  Children that were in legal custody of a parent were taken and harboured by a man hiding behind the name of a 'church',  completely defying any rules of the law.  There are so many more families out there whose lives have been completely disrupted by this man and his church. 

Keep an open mind-there is more to this story!

Yes people have the right to freedom of religion, but baby girls of 13,14, 15, being abused is not right. Think about the number of people who have been hurt or the number of wars fought in the name of religion. All you have to do is look at a sunset, a flower, a childs smile, to see god. I don't think you need some person , some so called leader in your life to tell you how to live it . Be your own person and treat others with love and respect. Be happy

Thank you, Dr. Phil, for exposing Tony Alamo Ministries.  Please continue to investigate and bring to light the atrocities that are going on there daily.  This is the tip of the iceberg.  This man has separated husbands from their wives, parents from their children and families from their loved ones.

I have personally witnessed underage marriages with girls as young as 12 and I have several pictures to prove it.  These are arranged marriages with older men.  These men go to Tony Alamo and ask permission to marry these girls.  No one gets married without his approval.  The girls want to get married in most cases because this is what they have been taught is right all their lives.

Tony Alamo has taken several wives, no one knows for sure how many and he has a taste for young girls.  The young girls go to visit him at his home and if he wants them then they never go back home to their parents, their dolls or their innocence.  There are witnesses to the actual rape of one of the young girls he took as a wife, I believe she was 15 or 16 years old and he now has a child by her. He has said on his many radio programs that as soon as a girl starts to menstruate then they can marry, that means if they are 9 or 10 or younger in some cases.  The parents consider it a privilege for their daughters to be chosen by Tony Alamo.

Tony Alamo has beaten children bloody for the smallest infractions.  This man is a monster and his congregation believes every word he says.  They will beat their own children on his command.  He has even commanded the beating, or smiting, of grown women and men.

Something has to be done about this monster.  Dr. Phil, there are children there that need your help.

 I have two nieces and one nephew still there and our family is not allowed to see them.  They have been there for 11 years.  We worry daily about their safety.  The girls are at the age where the are married off to older men and if that happens we will never see them again.  The authorities won’t do anything to help, believe me we have tried.  I believe that you, Dr. Phil are our last hope.

Once again, thank you Dr. Phil for exposing Tony Alamo Ministries.  There is so much more than what has been shown and I hope you don’t stop with this one show.

Actually, I re-read all my previous comments, and I did not mention birth control in any of them. I stand by my comment, "your body, your decision."  I simply was counting out loud.  I do have one correction.  Apparently, all the children are from the same father, as stated by Anna's sister via message boards.  And, I guess I am starting to count on my toes, because Anna stated she actually has 11 children.  Thank you.

• Hang in there.  I know making the adjustment to the outside world  is rough. Your life is turned up side down and the kids are practically in shock.  It  seem like no one understands you.  I have of books that have helped me. I will post them when my PC is not causing me so many problems.
