C.A.S.A. Thank you

My name is Daniela and I have bin a C.A.S.A. for 4 1/2 years. I am so proud to be a part of such awesome organization.  Child abuse is something people don’t want to hear about because abuse is dirty. These children are in the system because the person who supposes to protect them from harm was hurting them the most. Thank you Dr. Phil for speaking out and bring attention to the public. We are in desperate need of advocates and we need to let the public know that it is wrong to hurt this little precious children where God trust us to keep save. God bless you and your family. Keep up the work for C.A.S.A. and you will be blessed in more ways then you can imagine. I know I am.

Child Advocate. Daniela McKenzie

Tyerra, You can accomplish your dreams

Tyerra,

I give recognition to you for following your dreams.  Even with the loss of loved ones, it is a comforting feeling to know that you are not alone.  I give kudos to Dr. Phil for believing in you...as much as you believe in yourself.  I am proud to see you  as a  spokeswoman for your college, and I know that you will become a remarkable nurse because you have passion.  Keep emulating a positive role model for all of your children.  Remember when you get to the top that giving back is the best feeling in the world.

The Foundation Our Children Deserve

It is so wonderful to see people using money for good. It is great to see them use the money for children that deserve a chance too. It always brings me to tears to see children thrive and grow in a situation that they normally wouldn't. Way to Dr.Phil!!! You are quite inspiring to us all.

a question

I  have a friend who was recently in a custody battle in which a CASA volunteer was involved.  As my friend had nothing to hide and was willing  to have the CASA volunteer in her home, she had no complaints about the experience.  I am a little confused though, because on the show it was mentioned that CASA only receives money through donations.  My friend, however, was required to pay a $100 fee to the CASA volunteer.  The man involved in the custody battle was also required to pay $100 to the volunteer.  This was not a "donation" from either party, as the CASA volunteers participation and payment was ordered by the court.

AUGUST 7TH RESPONSE

Quote From: stanleyg1

I also watched the show waiting for an update that didn't happen.  I had the show taped and I had to play it  a  second time because I thought I missed it.  They did show them on a commercial but not on the show.  What happened Dr. Phil?

Now correct me if Im wrong but didnt that woman who Aaflack gave the money to and Merry maids gave a years worth of housekeeping service, they gave her a round trip ticket to Manhattan, and Dream Dinners fixed dinner for a year for her, Isnt she also doing the commercials for the very college she graduated from? I know I have seen here commercial several times this week already. So not only is she getting all the above mentioned things..but she is getting paid for doing the schools commercials Im sure. What about all the other people who were portrayed on the show..what happened to them? And Im not sure if the spokesperson for the school should be so celebrated.....
