I was here in 2004/2005 and dropped the weight, changed my life around, and lived the keys.

That was until having surgeries last year when I allowed myself to drift back to using food as my pain medication while recuperating.

I put on 9kg (20 pounds) and I'm now 'doing the book' again.  I've lost 3 of those kgs and I've begun to get real all over again.

Anyone want and need support while we continue our journey into weight loss freedom?

Back to get it right and need help/support

""Not much action on the boards today is there?  Guess everyone is

busy.  I have a good start for today.  I have had a healthy breakfast and the

sun is actually shinning.  Hope it holds out for the rest of the day, but that

is not what the forecast says.

Well guess I better get with the program and do a few things around here

and get to my book.  LOL

Everyone have a nice weekend!!

Take care,

Dolores""

Good to know that you're reading the book again.  Where are you up to now?  Keys 5 and 6 are the food and exercise keys but I'd sure like to see what you've read so far before getting onto those.  All of what's written before those 2 keys go toward preparing ourselves and our environment.

Today was fairly good as far as food went.  Hubby and I went to #1 son's place for brunch and he cooked bacon, sausages, eggs, tomatoes and wholemeal toast.  I made the smoothies from skim milk and bananas.  For this reason we didn't end up having lunch!

I wish we had the new weight loss challenge here this week too.  I might see if I'm able to get it online.

Exercise tonight will be on the treadmill for 45 mins.

Evening meal is going to be turkey slices and salad.

Here's to a losing week for us!!

SUU:  I am on healing feelings.  I did not get a very good score on the emotional eating.  The stress scale I didn't have anything to check there except for Glenna 's Kidneys failing and that has been going on for quite sometime, but I do get quite stressed over it at times when she is having problems.

My environment is in pretty good shape, except what my husband has to have, or he thinks he does, but that doesn't bother me, except when he makes sweets, then I just have to grit my teeth and deal with it.  At 82 he is not going to change.  LOL

My menu hasn't been to great today.  Just haven't eaten to much either.  Plan on having a salad for dinner w/ chicken this evening..  On Sunday, I don't usually take the time to fix breakfast, so had a Zone protein bar, then had a Skinny sugar free Frappichino on the way home from church, than about three O'clock and a few soy crips w/ fat free cream cheese.

Wish You could get Dr. Phil there to, as I think it helps to see what other people go through and see the exercise and the way they eat.

Well guess I better get out of here and eat that salad.

Take care,

Dolores

Hi again

Are you still going to be exercising at the senior centre?

If there's a way to see the show via the net I'm sure I'll find it because I'm pretty persistent! LOL

Changed my routine with the t/mill and did 3 lots of 15 minutes with 10mins rest in between. Did 62 wall pushoffs and but still haven’t got my dumbbells out so I need a swift kick up the date. Weighing in on Thursday this week as the nurse is away. I feel a LOT heavier though. Bloated and fat. Not enough water methinks so setting my alarm to get that job done.

Treadmill:
1st 15mins: 1.05kms
2nd 15mins: 1.15kms
3rd 15mins: 1.24kms
Total: 45 mins - 3.44kms (2.1 miles)

Wall pushoffs: 62

SUU:  Don't know yet if I am going back to the center this month,

because of money.  LOL  The cost there isn't to bad, but I need to

pay my dues for belonging to the center before I go back, so that makes

it a little more.

Think it is good to change up your routine every once in a while.

I need to work on my water to.  I know that I don't drink near enough.

As I said on the other thread,  I have managed to get in 16 minutes on

the bike this morning and did a couple of exercises on the ball.  I am

going to go slow---I want to be able to get out of the bed in the morning.  LOL

I will list my exercise when I list the menu probably this evening.

You have a good day/night.  LOL  I am still confused.  LOL

Hugs,

Dolores

SUU:  you are doing great with food and exercise and super

on your water.  I need to work on that a bit.  Not much water

goes in my body except for Coffee and know that doesn't count.

So far I have done well with my food, but no exercise, yet.

I had legs cramps really bad in the night and my legs are so

sore.   Think it might be from the exercise on the ball, but I will see.

Catch you later.

OH, I lost three pounds this week.

Take care,

Dolores

3 pounds is an incredible loss. :-X Well done.  See if you can build on that loss and have another one this week.

I can't wait till tomorrow when I jump on the scales.  I know that I couldn't have done more this week.  Whatever they say will be ok though.
