I noticed you are from WA I was born in Pasco, WA is that far from you?  I also want to lose 100 pounds maybe we can help each other?  Tell me a bit about your normal day?  When do you over eat.... for me it is night time!!  I don't sleep well at night and I'm up most of the night....I get bored and I eat!!!

Loser I am

I started with about 95 lbs to lose and have lost 12.5. My oldest son is getting married in May and i don't want to be the fat grandma anymore. Both of us Mom-in-laws are named Debbie and We are grandma bighair and grandma littlehair. I want that to always mean my hair and not my body. I can do this and i will be successful for my health. To be around and active is the best gift i can give my family. deb

Advice Please


Hello :) my name is Alex I'm from Canada and My goal is to be down to a size 6 or 8 by next summer and be overall healthier and more confident in myself and body. I watched Dr. Phil's show about 3 weeks ago and started on the program that day and have stuck to it since, I set my own rewards ... in 7 weeks I will have been on it for 10 weeks and get these leather boots I have had my eye on forever, I can't wait !  I tend to be very good at motivating myself to exercise, I have only been regularly exercising for the 3 weeks but I already find myself looking forward to it. I Jazzercise three times a week and it is about a 1 hour of intense excercise which I enjoy immensly, I hike up a local mountain 2 - 4 times a week with my golden retriever if I can stick to it I plan to take a trip to the rocky mountains next summer to hike as a reward ! and on the days when Im not doing that Ill go for a hour n a half walk which is my de-stressor. I have problems eating healthy, it is not so much the over eating of sweets or salts( which is a habit Ive kicked to the curb )  but in general I feel  guilty about everything I eat, I am trying very hard to change the way I look at it but unless I only eat lettuce I always feel that I am eating too much or putting too much dressing on something. My body seems to think unless Im always hungry Im not going to lose weight. But feeling Guilty aside today I had Yogurt +Banana for breakfast, Granola bar ( 100 cal curves bar ), Baby carrots, Caesar Salad Plus lean Chicken breast. and thats pretty much what I have had everyday for the last week, which is very boring and not too filling.
 
I was hoping some people would have suggestions on more exciting healthy Chicken dinners and some light protein suggestions for throughout the day( I don't eat eggs or red meats mostly I live off chicken )

As far as eating healthy, that is what I need to learn, but I can tell you to eat throughout the day.  Stock your fridge with fruits and grill LOTS of chicken.  Drink lots of water and concentrate on only a few habits to start incorporating.  DON'T BURN YOURSELF OUT!  Make lasting changes and spend time developing healthy habits that will stay with you for your lifetime.  We don't need to lose this weight only to gain it back and have to battle it when we are 34, 44, 54, 64, etc......... 

 

(A little about me and singing:  I hate making my own food so much that I even made up a song that I sing when I have to make a sandwhich!)

We're going to make it. We are nipping the the problem in the bud now. God WILL be our strength during this time we just gotta stay focused on Him and not anyone else. Drinking my water has been hard, and i work  for the power company here in VA, so I kinda fell of the healthy train (they were feeding us all kinds of  breakfast lunch and dinner, and lets not go there about Pepsi :) ), but i'm back on track. Why don't like sandwhiches, do u prefer fast food (another weakness,quick fast and in a hurry)? Do u have kids?

I need to loose weight as well

Hello everyone my name is Debbie , I am 48 yrs old and weight 331 lb that so embarrassing..I am 5'4 tall

my  neighbors say i am as big around as i am tall  I am on high bp meads and  depression and anxiety meads.I need to loose weight but just cant seem to do it.. It seems the good foods we need or so much more expensive than the bad foods   I know thats no excuse.. I don't know a carb from protein food  can someone give me  a place to start other than saying just push the plate back...my biggest  fear is I will die fat because sometimes  my heart hurts and I have to sleep sitting up I am on a c-pap  but cant use it so  Dr said if i dint use it i have to loose weight...I have no insurance to go see a nutrition  so its  up to me to figure this out   .. I am A   Nana of 7  and want to live to see them all marry Thanks for reading this  Debbie   edanddeb98@cox.net

hi there everyone, I'm a 32 year old from New Zealand who has finally decided that enough is enough, I have been overweight for going on 20 years so I owe it to myself to take some time and focus on my weight, health and wellbeing.  I'm getting really excited about going on this journey and hope that in the not to distant future we will all be showing off our before and after photos!

Hey all,

I live in the Carrollton area (Dallas). I have about 100 pounds to lose and I just don't have the motivation to get started. I hate vegetables. I love pasta, cheese, dairy, breads and meats. I find myself feeling apathetic, like maybe I will just be this way forever and fine - whatever. My dad has mesothelioma - incurable cancer and I just feel...powerless. I don't believe in me anymore. I don't think I have what it takes to do this anymore.

I would to say that a key to anything is to be accountable, and a lot of people dont like to be accountable because you have to do what you say you are going to do. I have along with another person have recently began to be accountable online and if you would like to know more to find out if you would like participate we would like for you to join us on this adventure that we are all on. The WLC Amazing Race is going to be on Wednesday, Oct 1.  I'm so excited.  It seems like its been along time coming.  The show helps me to stay focus and encourages me.  where is everyone?  It seems pretty quite on here.
