I sure could use a diet buddy.  My name is Karen and I find it very hard to stay motivated.  I go to Curves 3-4 days a week and walk whenever its not too hot.  But my main problem is junk food.  I can't seem to stay away from it.  I would love to have a new friend to talk to.

        Hi Karen,   I know what you mean about staying motivated!!!  It's hard!  I would love to have someone to share this journey with. What part of MO do you live in.  I am in a really small town called Doniphan.  I work out to videos and walk when I can.  take care

Junk food!

Hi! My name is Danielle and I live in Blue Springs... I have heard of your city but not sure where it is. I am looking for a buddy too! I have 3 children and find it hard to avoid late night junk food snacking (schwann's sherbert and brownies, etc.)

Hi, I live in Missouri(Gerald) to be exact. I had been trying to get through the Ultimate Weight Loss Challenge Book...........I understand everything except the section about right thinking..........I get totally lost there. Is anyone else having that problem????? I wrote Dr.Phil about it and got an answer from the producer to send my picture in but that was over 6 weeks ago and haven't heard anything since......................how can they dangle that carrot out there giving some hope to someone like me and then just jerk it away?

What a coincidence.  I grew up in Gerald and lived in Owensville for 18 years with my first husband.  I just may know you.  I know what your talking about.  I read the book too but it really didn't help me.  I didn't really think I had any deep hidden issues that I needed to deal with.  If you would like to email me and we can talk personally, my email address is mkbouse@fidnet.com.  Maybe we can motivate each other.  Right now I belong to Curves but I haven't gone in about two weeks because I just don't care right now.  I'd be glad to talk to you.

I know where Blue Springs is. Up by Kansas City right?  Sullivan is right on I-44 about 3 hours away from Kansas City.  I have trouble with late night snacking too.  I work the evening shift at the hospital and when I come home I'm not tired so I get on the computer and then I want to eat.  If you would like to email me personally me do at mkbouse@fidnet.com.  I check my email more than I do the message boards.  Hope to hear from you soon.

I could use a weight loss buddy. I have 2 active girls and I am the unactive one in the family (& also the only one with a weight issue!) I want to loss some weight so I don't get diabetes like my mother.
