More than a year has passed since Drew Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy, mysteriously vanished. Although the former police sergeant maintains that he had nothing to do with her disappearance, many suspect foul play. The Dr. Phil show covered the story when it first broke, and a year later, it’s still making headlines. Now, Dr. Phil asks the hard questions that are on the minds of millions: How did a young mother with no resources vanish without a trace? Why would Stacy leave her four children behind? Next, Drew takes Dr. Phil cameras on a tour of the home he once shared with Stacy. Find out why he says he still holds on to her belongings. Then, the death of Drew’s third wife, Kathleen Savio, was initially considered an accidental drowning but has now been ruled a homicide. Drew took a polygraph exam in connection with both cases, and the results may shock you. And, author Derek Armstrong recently interviewed Drew Peterson for more than 200 hours for his new book, Drew Peterson Exposed. The author doesn’t mince words about his subject. Plus, Drew says the media has portrayed him as a monster, but his kids, Thomas and Kris, view him as a family man. Is Drew Peterson guilty of murder, or is he simply the product of bad publicity? Tell us what you think!

Find out what happened on the show.

11/10 Drew Peterson

Quote From: auburnjenn

I really don't see the point of this episode. It's not as if he's going to confess up on Dr. Phil's stage. There wasn't any new information or confessions. Stop giving this man the publicity he so obviously craves.
I totally agree.  Drew Peterson is megalomaniac who can't seem to keep himself out of the public eye.   I change the channel everytime I see him on tv, as I did today with Dr. Phil's show. He makes me sick and I feel so sorry for Stacy's family having to see him exploit the story like this for his own sick reasons.

so many questions

On the show Drew seemed to sway around answering the questions asked to him. I find it hard to believe he doesn,t know where his wife is. On the show did he not say he was by the docks"looking for his car"? But then it was said he was called by the wife and told his car was at the air port, What's he doing by the docks? I think there is something with the blue barrel and i think he knows where she is. He never answered the questions with a true answer, it was always " correct" when asked questions.  I think he can be very deceptive. As a cop he knows how to work around answering questions.I will be shocked if his wife ever did show up.In my mind i think she is dead and it's just a matter of time when they find the body( in a blue barrel) that the brother said was warm to the touch.I'm sorry he is a cop for 32 years and he doesn,t know about a lie detector and how it really works, ya right. And what is a 47 year old guy doing with a 17 year old in the first place? I have so much to say on this person, not enough space

Similar case in Tennessee

We had a similar case in Nashville. The victim was Janet March. Her husband, Perry March, killed her and got his father to hide the body. The body was so well hidden that, even with the old man trying to find it for police, it was never located. Perry March was a lawyer, so he was sly, but not sly enough. Another parallel with this case is that you could see his guilt in his eyes. I found it interesting that  Drew Peterson keeps his eyes almost closed. Perry March thought he was the smartest person around. He thought he could not be convicted without a body. It took several years, but he was convicted and now he is in prison. This case is also similar in that he used his children to try to convince people that he was not guilty and that he should be left alone. He was so despised in Nashville by people who thought he would never be convicted, that he was forced to move to another state, and then to Mexico. He remarried and had more children very quickly. His children that were born to Janet March now live with her family. Hopefully, they will still be able to lead happy and productive lives.

Why?

Why did you do a story on this person and waste all that air time on interviewing a sociopathic, narcissistic individual.  You know that he is going to lie to your face about everything?  Why didn't you bounce him off the set and listen to his crap.   We all know that he isn't innocent or the injured party that he makes himself out to be,  He knows full well that he did these crimes.   I wonder what type of woman would date him when the ones before her died tragically at his hands and it was no accident.   I hope those children that he has were taken away from him.

11/10 Drew Peterson

Quote From: newleaf85

I believe Drew Peterson is so guilty.  Just the way he seems to glorify being in the spotlight sends chills up my spine.  If he was mourning his wife, or not guilty, or was trying to find her, he wouldn't act so damn happy to see reporters.

And sadly, while not all police officers murder their wives, a lot of them, in my opinion seem to have this very negative attitude towards women and they are arrogant, wanting power and control and aren't police officers for the right reasons.  This is why I go out of my way to avoid them because the town I live in is full of them.   I've reported crimes committed against me before, and felt even more beaten down afterwards.  They find a way to make everything the victim's fault or try to make you out to be a liar when the truth is right in front of them!  They most definetly blame the victim.   Oh, and I had to tell a detective one time where my eyes were, since he was staring at my boobs while I was in there giving him my statement!    I refuse to go to the police ever again, even though I have needed them since then.   I don't care if I'm stabbed, I don't want anyone to call 911!

It's the same in the home town I live in as well. It looks like most cops are bullies who grew up and got a badge to keep doing their bullying, and now they have the "Law" to support their sicko desires!

Narcissus

This guy is a narcissus.  Four wives, one dies and one disappears and he acts so righteous and innocent.  Four failed marriages?  He must be doing something wrong.  Of course none of them are going to report the abuse.  Who do they complain to?  The police?  HE IS THE POLICE!

He admits to being good at his job of deceiving criminals.  I guess he isn't that good, since the LD test was so inconsistent.  If you compare the answers that were deceptive with the answers that were not deceptive, you can see how he could be lying in one answer and telling the truth in another.  Yes, he could have spoken to her and she could have said come get the car; however, it may be true that he didn't see her.  He could have hired someone, who he could be certain would not say what they did to Stacy for him.  That would explain why he doesn't know where she is.  Whoever took her probably forced her to call Drew.

OR. . . He is so narcissistic that he beat the LD exam 3 out of 6 times.

The author had it right, he would do anything to be a celebrity.

He "appears" to be good to his children.  He probably doesn't want anyone else to have them and he probably brainwashed them and told them that something really bad will happen if they don't say good things about him.

I hope someone finds out something.  Dr. Phil, you are right.  Logically, there is NO WAY she would leave her children behind and not come forward if she was alive.

I pray that they find her and that they find enough evidence to get this narcissistic creep off the streets for good.

Cops and Domestic Vioence

My girlfriend was visiting from out of town when we were watching Drew Peterson tell Dr. Phil that policemen do not get involved with domestic violence, citing fear of job loss. We both uttered a non belief expletive at the same time. We've just been reacquainting after 16 years and we both talked back to the TV at the same time. We began to laugh. We have no shared experience in this area. Seriously though, policemen are protected by their brothers time and time again. Many times a wife will hear "This never happened" as the cops leave, "You need to get out of here" as one of them begins to talk the wife into calming down and forgiving, etc. They know how to cover-up, shift the blame, slander, create evidence and I could go on. I can say that all cops are bad. I knew a lot of good ones and most are dedicated good men. Making a blanket statement like the one Drew Peterson made about  policemen not committing domestic violence probably doesn't match up with statistics.

this is my serious message

i think that his smirk is due to his thinking that he is getting away with it. the only reason he is so open with the tour of his home in my sense is that the deed did not happen there. this was also confirmed for me by the big deal he made about the juice the forensics tested for blood. it was like an extra point in a competition for him. innocent people don't do that , its near overcompensation. another thing, he is going to make a mistake and get caught. why? because he isn't real smart as he thinks, see , he pointed out the clothes in the closet. his mistake is that he doesn't know how to think like a woman. when a woman leaves a man, she isn't going to leave all her clothes and shoes etc, behind. ok, lots of folks would say that it would not be normal to leave the children. well, probably not. but it does happen. women don't leave all their stuff behind. i also believe that the place where her body is , also is the place where she was killed. he would not put her body in a vehicle that can be traced to him. to catch this man, for one thing, he would not be a good polka player, he broadcasts his mind emotions that is, in his face. he will stop smirking when you are in the areas of items close to the truth. go outside of the box, whatever is s.o.p. for investigation of this type of case, he most likely has covered his tracks, catch him with the unexpected. right now he thinks confidentally that he is running this show. i can see it on his face and in his manner.oh, about the house, i forgot to mention, that there is usually a strong smell when there is a body around anyhow. all the things that drew knows, the investigation techniques, like the steps , all that he will have covered or gone another direction. he is performing for the camera right now. the mention of that his house is bugged. well if it is or isn't the point is that it shows his thinking is along the lines that the investigators will behave a certain way, he is anticipating this and expects this. he has prepared and in the overconfidence, he will also be careful not to slip up. what i suggest is that whoever is doing this take this tactic. of course, it is only my theory, you all are the pros. distract his focus and attention elsewhere to occupy his mind, while you do something else, he is unexpectant of. what that specifically is, i don 't know, but in the light that the deed was done elsewhere, for example, while he is watching the back yard be looked at by the det,. maybe there can be soil samples from the underside of the vehicle, are taken, that is only an example, as this may not be helpful. but, a gps hidden in the car, a way to find out what mileage may have been unusual, i don't know exactly how to deal with him, because i was too put off by feeling that he was lying, it was thick, and sickening, to listen carefully, i know you can't go to court with a feeling that someone did something. what about reopening the third wife who was said to have committed suicide,

case? or at least have drew think that this is the situation.you know what his weak spot is? he does not know how to think like a woman. he is trying to convince all of us that she did act in differently than women usually do. and like i said, leaving the clothes, as they were exactly, was a big big mistake, if a woman was the one who did the deed, she would have thought of that, but he is so out of touch with a woman mentality that he brought it up himself! that was as dumb as his pointing out the red juice. and when he said that he left the clothes like he couldn't bring himself to touch them. translation is that he knew it would look incriminating for him to toss them in the trash, and the truth that he did say was that he couldn't bring himself to touch them. but i had a sense that a part of that reason was a dislike, intense dislike for his missing mate. did you see that on his face, i did, and i also sense that he has an undercurrent of a sense of justification for his deed. oh, this man is going to get caught. it is just a matter of time.it would be nice if a female det. takes him down. there is something wrong with a man that marries so many times, don't you think

did he do it

I was watching the show, and he seems to relaxed because his wife went missing. He also blames everyone for what has been said. And oh yeah he doesn't think that any of the witnesses are credible. Where is Stacy, it is confusing because she could have left knowing that she would never get the kids without a fight. If she is out there she needs to know that he is in the presences of the media now and if she is scared to go home, she should have some help getting away from him knowing now that Drew's last wife died as they say accidentally. The law should help her and not push the issue that she abandoned her kids. We all need to know why she left, or what he did to her. If he did something to her and there kids find out later he will lose them too. The truth will come out. better now then later. I have sent a chain letter to everyone I know to find Stacy Peterson. And told them to pass it on to anyone and everyone they know. We need to use the Internet for good things.
