More than a year has passed since Drew Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy, mysteriously vanished. Although the former police sergeant maintains that he had nothing to do with her disappearance, many suspect foul play. The Dr. Phil show covered the story when it first broke, and a year later, it’s still making headlines. Now, Dr. Phil asks the hard questions that are on the minds of millions: How did a young mother with no resources vanish without a trace? Why would Stacy leave her four children behind? On the show did he not say he was by the docks"looking for his car"? But then it was said he was called by the wife and told his car was at the air port, What's he doing by the docks? I think there is something with the blue barrel and i think he knows where she is. He never answered the questions with a true answer, it was always " correct" when asked questions. I think he can be very deceptive.As a cop he knows how to work around answering questions.I will be shocked if his wife ever did show up.In my mind i think she is dead and it's just a matter of time when they find the body( in a blue barrel) that the brother said was warm to the touch.I'm sorry he is a cop for 32 years and he doesn,t know about a lie detector and how it really works, ya right. And what is a 47 year old guy doing with a 17 year old in the first place? I have so much to say on this person, not enough space

I thought the same thing about the car, and the other was that he didn't think anyone that accuses him is credible to listen too.

THAT'S A GUILTY MAN!!

I watched the entire show today and I have no doubt in my mind that was a guilty man on your stage! He seemed like he didnt have a care in the world! I wonder what the kids think about there mother?? It seemed to me that he answered every question "very carefully"... I feel very sad for Stacy's family and the pain they must go thru everyday wondering where she is and what happened to her!! I pray that God will let the truth come out soon and atleast give her family some peace of mind! It's really horrific to see a man that claims he loved his wife so much and they were still very intimate with each other but apparently he has NO pain or worries what so ever from her disapperance!!! It's really confusing to me how he's still walking around a free man!! I totally agree that his story defies all logic!!!!!

He admits to being good at his job of deceiving criminals. I guess he isn't that good, since the LD test was so inconsistent. If you compare the answers that were deceptive with the answers that were not deceptive, you can see how he could be lying in one answer and telling the truth in another. Yes, he could have spoken to her and she could have said come get the car; however, it may be true that he didn't see her. He could have hired someone, who he could be certain would not say what they did to Stacy for him. That would explain why he doesn't know where she is. Whoever took her probably forced her to call Drew.

OR. . . He is so narcissistic that he beat the LD exam 3 out of 6 times.

The author had it right, he would do anything to be a celebrity.

He "appears" to be good to his children. He probably doesn't want anyone else to have them and he probably brainwashed them and told them that something really bad will happen if they don't say good things about him.

I hope someone finds out something. Dr. Phil, you are right. Logically, there is NO WAY she would leave her children behind and not come forward if she was alive.

I pray that they find her and that they find enough evidence to get this narcissistic creep off the streets for good.

I THOUGHT ALL DAY ABOUT THOSE KIDS AND MY THOUGHTS WERE THE SAME,I'M POSITIVE AFTER SEEING THEM ON TAPE HE HAS THEM COMPLETELY BRAINWASHED!! I SO PRAY THAT THEY WILL FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO HER OR IF BY SOME SLIM CHANCE SHE'S ALIVE THEY WILL FIND HER!! EITHER WAY,GET THAT MURDERER OFF THE STREETS BEFORE HE MEETS WIFE NUMBER 5!!!

Watching the show tonight was like reverting back to the ex-policeman I was married to for 4 agonizing years, who wore a gun everywhere he went and delighted in the fear when people noticed. Sociopath, I have learned everything about it since I left him in 1991. I was so terrified to try to get away from him, as was my family for me. He was only a policeman for about a year, fired for stealing a gun from a defendant, which he delighted in telling me. Only a stupid woman like me could have married this man after he stalked me for a year, nurtured me, sang in church, volunteered in our local State Attorney's Office, a true persona of Jekyll and Hyde. I was wife number 4. I still have visions that he will ambush me some day, as his hatred for me is intense, because I adopted his grandson after one year of marriage with him, a child I adored so much. That child is now 22, and finally has gotten away from this controlling, woman-hating man, so insecure, so determined to dominate everyone, who believed FORTY YEARS after he was a policeman that he was still LAW ENFORCEMENT, chasing people down the highway, scaring me and the children to death, using a blue light in his car when he was not law enforcement to chase people down the highway. This is nothing compared to the years of terror of his instability, yet he never hit me but once, but the terror was there for I knew the capacity he had for violence, and the daily screaming, threats, cursing, do not even come close to what I knew he would do every time I defied him. Drew Peterson sat there so smug tonight, just brought back the same answers I could have predicted, he is smarter than everyone in the world, it is his "training in law enforcement" that keeps him calm, etc. Bull>>>> IT IS HIS MISOGYNISTIC PERSONALITY THAT HAS MADE HIM BELIEVE HE CAN OUTWIT, OUTLAST, AND GET AWAY WITH MURDER.

His step brother Tom Morphey helped Drew to remove this barrel from Drew and Stacy's bedroom and load it into Drew's truck, Drew then took Tom home and left with the barrel, he was not with him when Drew disposed of it.

This interview was the same as all the other interviews of Drew over the last year, the same babble, nothing new except.....

Mr. Drew Peterson you screwed up BIG TIME! You stated that Stacy called you at 9 pm to tell you she "met someone else" and where to find your car, that it was at Clow Airfield, that call it has been proven was pinged near the sanitary shipping canal, which you stated to Dr Phil was the place you were looking for her, yet in Derick Armstrongs book and your version of the time line you were at home when she called you, so which is it Drew? were you already out looking for her? or were you at home? that being said why then did you not immediately go retrieve that vehicle at or around 9pm and wait until nearly 11 pm to get it? again this is in your time line...you're cracking up Drew, your days are numbered!

hey Drew? got a question for you? you're such a loving father...can you tell me the last time your took your teen sons to their mother's grave? I bet you don't allow them to go! is that "age appropriate"?

and a previous poster was right on the money Mr. "I've been married more times than anyone I know" women do not leave their stuff behind...they may leave their kids...but their underwear? makeup? jewelry? HER SISTERS ASHES!!!!!????? The same sister you BLAME for your marital troubles....she would leave Tina's ashes behind? with YOU? The more this braggart tells us about his 'skills' as both a cop & his under cover work, the more the neon "GUILTY" sign flashes on his forehead!!! The whole show he was basically telling us how his talents include hiding emotions, fooling people into believing he is someone else, etc. He hasn't fooled Dr. Phil or me! (Or the lie detector, for that matter!) When he is finally found guilty of these two murders, count me in to watch his execution. I'll be popping the popcorn.

OJ Simpson Show?????????

For a minute there, I thought I was watching an hour about O.J. Simpson, not Drew Peterson. Drew is a total LIAR concerning the abuse he inflicted on at least two of his wives, and I find it interesting that he hates being called a LIAR more than anything people throw at him, that's because he is a LIAR. Women don't share their abuse because, in general, they are embarrassed by it, so the abuse had to be pretty bad for them to finally tell others that "if I'm gone, Drew will be responsible, and he will make it look like an accident". Come on, here, how can this guy be getting away with bullshit like that. Just because he's never been "arrested", does not mean that these women are lying. Women are ashamed by abuse, so why would they mention something so shameful unless it were true. One woman MIGHT do that, but TWO???!!! No way!!! And then there was the "ex-fiance" who spoke of his need to control her. Yep, he's a wife abuser alright -- and he dares to say that HE was the victim of his wife's abuse? HHHAAAAAHAHAHAAA!!!!! PUUUUUULLEEEEEEEEASE!!! LIARRRRR!!!

I bet he either murdered both of these "ex" wives, or he had someone else do it, because I will never believe that he is innocent. If I learned anything from the O.J. Simpson trial, I learned this: I can spot a lying murderer a mile away, that's what. He is definitely involved, and he needs a second polygraph test. I'm surprised Dr. Phil didn't offer to have his specialist give him another polygraph.

It's obvious that there is something wrong with this guy, and it's obvious that he's lying about his wife running off with another guy who isn't trying to make contact with her children. No, no, no, this is not true! And he wouldn't be the first cop to do something so horrible, so don't give me any of this "Cops don't beat their wives", crap, Drew!! Uh, yeah, they do, and you're living proof, pal! Scum.
