Unbelievable................

I know this is the USA, but I cannot believe how the LEFT can allow themselves to be brought down to their level of name calling.  Freedom of speech doesn't include rude name-calling and rude behavior.  No one deserves to be called  the things that your screeners are allowing to be shown on this message board.

Show some respect people!!!!

That's how this country got into the shape it is in anyway.  Thomas Jefferson is rolling in his grave!!!!

Obama – The Savior or False Hope?

One important aspect of being a patriot is to be an informed citizen and understand what you are voting for. Before blindly following the popular opinion of the “crowd”, please consider the following common sense thoughts with an open mind.

1) Costly multi-billion dollar stimulus packages and bailouts have not worked.
Why should one believe the answer to the current economic problems is to do the same thing only on a larger scale?

2) The financial problems in the US were caused by too much debt and spending. Shouldn't the solution be less spending and more savings?
Obama’s solution to current problems is more debt, also called “stimulus”, to create more spending. Is this logical? Does one drink more booze to sober up?

3) There is no such thing as a free lunch.
All booms are followed by busts as individuals, corporations and governments living beyond their means must save and pay down debt. Delaying the bust only creates a larger bust down the road. Fighting the free market caused the current crisis and like swimming up-stream, fighting the correction with stimulus (debt) will draw out, prolong and worsen the crisis.

4) You can’t have something for nothing.
The answer to prosperity is freedom, small government, hard work, and savings. Larger government, deficit spending, and ever increasing social programs are not sustainable. Isn’t this logical?

5) Sticking To Principles
When times are tough it is more important than ever to stick to fundamental principles. The free market allows companies poorly managed to fail and successful companies to survive. A government deciding what company should receive bailouts and what company should fail is centralized planning and socialism. Bailing out banks privatized the profits and socialized the losses which rewards bad behavior and punishes good behavior. Are these logical solutions to vote for?

6) Homes that are too expensive for the average person to afford are a problem. Lower home prices, so that responsible borrowers can afford to buy them, is the solution.
The government is fighting the free market when it attempts to bail out irresponsible banks and home owners. These socialist principles will draw out natural corrections and prolong the current crisis.

7) Debt and spending caused the current US crisis and the proposed solution is more debt and more spending.
Debt and spending such as credit cards and buying “things” is what causes individuals to become poor. Hard work and savings is what makes a person wealthy. For nations it is no different. Debt and spending caused the US to become poorer. Perhaps the US does not need new stimulus (debt) but instead it needs less spending, less government, more savings and more production. This is common sense.

8) Banks have not used and will not use “bail out money” for lending to the public. Why?
The American public is tapped out with too much debt which makes them high risk customers. How does this affect you today and in the future? Today it decreases the value of your money as more currency to bail out the banks causes each unit of currency to lose real purchasing power. In the future it saddles the future with a debt that must be repaid. Not to mention the fact that the damage has already been done and fighting the free market will prolong the correction that will happen regardless.

What is the solution to the current financial crisis?
Do not let the government interfere with the correction and let the nation take the medicine. Let the free market chose where capital should be allocated. The nation is already sick and the pain cannot be stopped. All solutions will be painful but letting the nation heal itself will be much faster and in the long term much less painful than swimming up-stream. Obama plans to dig the hole deeper with more government, more centralized planning, more bailouts, more debt, less individual freedoms and more socialism etc. The key is less government, less social programs, more production, more savings, less spending and less borrowing. Isn’t this logical?

Is Obama a well intentioned honest person? Probably. Is he misguided and destined to hurt the nation he is trying to help? Probably.

Be careful what you wish for because you are likely to get it. America may not only be voting in, but cheering in their own demise. This is not their intention but the result will likely be the same.

Just to let you know

I just want to let you know that my husband and I are both from divorced homes. We are not strippers nor have we ever been haha. We did have a child young but we are great parents we were next door neighbors at 15 we had a daughter at 17 he was working we have a great life. We never broke up we got married at the age of 22 and have been ever since we own a home in a great area we love each  other he works and takes care of us we are not the average teenage couple who has children but there are some of us out there who can be a family even if our family as children were split apart. So I think this woman as smart as I'm sure she thinks she is spreads nothing but hate and makes people like my husband and me feel wonderful to prove her wrong that we are not some number we are people with goals that do not include being a stripper or low lives so I hope for your sake that your children turn out half as good as children like my husband and me from divorced parents

And WOW at Coulter's take on single mothers

A lot of Dr. Phil's viewing Demographic are these single mothers, it's an insult to have her on to insult them like this. How could one women hate women so much?

Who does she think she is?

Dr. Phil:  I watched your show today (as I do most days) and was disgusted by one of your guests - Ms. Coulter.  I don't recall her first name.  I see her as a smug, big-mouthed woman that has nothing important to say.  I see her as condescending.  I wonder if she's an only child....she certainly reminds me of a spoiled brat that had the world revolve around her.  Now, as an adult....she expects the same.  However, her mother (whether she were a single parent or not) neglected to teach her manners.  Dr. Phil, as a daily viewer, I do not wish to see her back on your show to discuss single mothers, prostituting teens, President Barack Obama (whom I admire and wish he belonged to Canada), or how damn smart she thinks she is.  I don't like her Dr. Phil and I will not watch her smuggish, offensive face on your show again.

Ann Coulter :Bad Choice for Guest

I am so appauled by Dr. Phil's choice of having ann Coulter on his show I now question his judgment. She has had horrible things to say about single moms, black people, and just about everything that comes out of her mouth is toxic. Why don't we give our new president a chance before we ask someone like Ann Coulter to critique him. Her opinion means nothing to me I have NO respect for her and think her tactics to get attention are belittling to humanity!!

HOPE

Okay so here is the hope that this one is better than the last. I hope that Obama does a great job. However I will complain about one thing that I am tired of hearing and that is a black president Okay he is part black and that he is the closest there has ever been to a black president, I can see him for what he is and I see him as the door opener to a black president, or a native American president, ask is the label more important than the job he does as president NO. I have to hope and prayer he is able to bring this nation together. Please do understand I support Obama wholeheartedly as I two am the same mixed background but I call myself mixed not black nor am I white as Mr Tiger Woods puts it I am American!

Best wishes to the coming of a brighter day!

01/22 President Obama: Hope vs. Reality

How dare Dr. Phil try to under mind this historic time of celebration with the negative biased opinions of guest Ann Coulter! To have the audience clapping at the negativity was outrageous. Americans are now more hopeful than ever. Why try to quell that? Shame on you Dr. Phil!

won on color

Barack Obama was elected into office strictly because of the color of his skin.  He may or may not be qualified for the position.  He is young and inexperienced but because he is African American or at least his skin is brown, many many African American came out to vote for him that never ever vote only to get him elected.  I haven't heard one interview that stated we are so proud because we believe he will solve the problems of the world or he has a great plan for our country, all I have heard is "we are so proud that we finally have a black president in my lifetime".  I am frankly terrified because I believe he is too young and inexperienced.  I'm afraid we will be attacked or the economy will fall apart and we will become a third world country because he really does not have a clue what he is doing.....BUT HE IS OUR FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT.  I don't care what color skin he has or what nationality he is, if he is an effective leader that will make this country greater than it already is.  We'll see in the next 4 years, I hope I'm wrong.
