"Outrageous, irresponsible and completely out of touch with reality" are just a few comments being said about Nadya Suleman, the single mother of six who recently gave birth to octuplets in California. Would you have 14 kids to scam money from people and be in your right mind. That is going to an extreme for money...I say there is something wrong with her...Do you harass a cancer patient ? She is sick either way and needs help. Give the babies to a stable homes with 2 parent who can provide for them. The babies are a gift from god and should be treasured. Its our job not to let these babies down.

I am enraged and heartbroken for these babies

I cannot believe that there are people that would defend this lady. Even if her decision was based on as she states it "that she was only expecting a singleton at best a double," SHE CAN"T EVEN SUPPORT THE SIX KIDS SHE ALREADY HAS!!!!! There are messages on here talking about how kids don't need "things" to make them happy, your right about that but do need love, support, shelter, and food which she is not providing now either, even the LOVE part is being supplemented from her parents... I am sure if she could get that from welfare she would to ... All of these things are the very definition of what parents are held accountable to PROVIDE for their children... We as a society have lost grip with reality we require a license to drive, often to work , and for many other things but any village YAHOO can have babies because they are not even required to attempt a job for support. Heck right after I had my son, my husband lost his job and we went to get help and with me working part-time and him getting unemployment we made too much so they told me to quit my job and come back ...THAT IS A MESSED UP SOCIETY!!!!! Her kids should be given to 14 couples who would take care of these children and love them like a parent should without having to calling 1800 welfare first... I have no sympathy for this women because they keep saying thing of the children.. WHEN WILL SHE WAKE UP AND START THINKING ABOUT HER CHILDREN??? even at this point if you had come this far and realized you made a mistake and there was no way in hell you were going to be able to pull this of and you wanted "only one baby" wouldn't adopting them out seem like a logical thing.... She's not even acting like a mother that cares and wants to nurture these children, it's like a collection of hers...It's just all very sad too me.....

All in all this isn't going away anytime soon and America will pay for it somehow, someway regardless of everyone's best intentions.

A person like you or me couldn't get a master's degree ...but with us taxpayers paying all her bills I am sure it will be much easier for her to keep pace plus seems to me that everyone feels so sorry for her and is eager to help her... So I am guessing it won't be long and just as I am sure she predicted she will have a house and a new van and nannies and maids all donated to her to make life just sooooo much grander!!! I think this is all B/S and these kids need to go to families that actually want to take care of them. all 14 of them !!!

OK, really LET US ALL LEAVE HER ALONE!!!

HEY, WE SHOULD ALL LEAVE HER ALONE!!!

That means WALK AWAY and LEAVE HER ALONE!!! Let her take care of ALL the children 24/7. NO HELP, whatsoever!

LET HER FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO! Let her figure out how to take care and LOVE all these children! Let her go to the grocery store for herself and the children, buy diapers, pay her bills, pay her rent, pay for all their clothes, breastfeed or make formula, make the meals, take the others to school, cook for them, clean up after them, and wash their clothes, give all these baths, wash their sheets, take the children to the doctor, buy a vehicle to transport them all, etc...SHE NEEDS TO BUY EVERYTHING THEY NEED!

"REMEMBER!!!! SHE WANTED ALL THESE CHILDREN!!!!!!

She hasn't needed any HELP so far, except for DUMPING and TAKING FROM HER PARENTS (enablers)!!! I hope that they visit like normal grandparents and GO OUT AND LIVE THEIR LIVES....

MAKE THIS WOMAN TAKE CARE OF HER "OWN" CHILDREN!!! SHE thinks it is going to be so easy, and GOD is going to be there, AND I DO BELIEVE HE WILL BE!!!

HOWEVER, SHE MAY NEED TO GO GET A SCHOOL LOAN - YA KNOW - SELF SERVING CHILD SUPPORT!!!!

Let her find a babysitter to go and get HER NAILS DONE!!!

WE SHOULD ALL "LEAVE HER ALONE"!!!!!

Adoptive Mom of 3!

I question reproductive rights because I have none! I have been through IUI and IVF many times. My husband and I chose adoption after many biological failures. So, I wonder if we HAVE to go through financial profiles, classes, pyschiatric testing, home studies, and international scrutany Why should ANYONE be allowed to reproduce 14 times over without the same undergoing????? Everyone thought that were 'crazy' for bringing home 3 orphans at the same time, but were quick to accept them as family!!!! As were all of our famliy!!!

I get that these babies( the children of this woman) are here, but don't they deserve better than they are forecasted? The same as our daughters?

A Mother only thinking about herself

A mother only thinking about what she wants and what is best for her not the children and that is sad because it is the children that are going to suffer not only that but the babies that she just had their is no way that she is going to be able to spend one on one time with each one of them. By having as many as she had this was the way for her to get money. I cannot be live any doctor in their right mind would do something like this. I do not feel sorry for the mother Her own mother did not want this to happen. She wants to be someone that she is not and she looks nothing like who she was trying to look like. I am sure that she is going to end up making the off this like plan and so is the doctor and that is pretty sad he should be dis bar from medican she says that she has no money how is she going to feed the children that she has already and then when the babies come home how is she going to feel them did she stop to think about that or the laundry that she is going to have.

How did this happen?

Forget about the octuplets for a minute. How does an unemployed single woman who lives with her mom have the first six children? I am married and my husband and I have a good income, relatively no debt, and we could not afford IVF! She did this at leats 6 times???? Where did the funds come from. Is it wrong? YES!

What about adoption?

Nada was able to bring 8 babies into the world at once which was a miracle, but she cannot care for them. I think she should consider allowing these children to be adopted by people who could give them time and care they will need. It is not about a big enough house or car or even enough money, it is about time and attention and safety for these kids. To care for 8 newborns by one person is unimaginable (and in a daycare setting illegal). Not to mention the needs of her six other children. She is also bringing these children into a home which she shares care giving responsibilities with her mother who allowed her to grow up with this emotional void. I think extreme possibilities need to be considered with this extreme situation. She did not want to leave the embryos frozen because she saw them each as lives. She could consider giving many people who would like to adopt a baby a wonderful opportunity so that these lives could be a great blessing instead of a great burden.

WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE? SOMEONE WILL GIVE OCTO-MOM A HELPING HAND. THE KIDS WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF. IF NOT THE STATE CAN STEP IN AND DO SOMETHING. THEY ALWAYS DO.

Actually the Duggers are married,and show how they get by.They buy used clothes,make their own soap,and other ways.The HUSBAND has a job,and owns rental property that he rents out. They do not only make money off the TV show.Like I said. the husabnd has a job,and decent resources. Not Welfare.. And she has them one at a time.And the house is large,clean,and functional.. They have decent REAL morals that guide their household.. The OCTO MOM ,has NONE OF THOSE!!!!! This is sooooooo different.. Taxpayers SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR HER SICK ACTIONS... The kids need to be taken.. She has no husban,no job,no mind set of reality.... She has had her lips and nose done,and is delusional (it is so obvious that she is trying to go for the Angelina look) she is unstable!!!!!!!!! GET IT. Stop looking at the ahhh factor. Why do you believe her sick lies???? You pay for her then... The kids belong in a stable home......

octomom looking for handout?

I think that the octomom is very smart and knows exactly what she is doing. She has said that people have already agreed to modify their house to make room for the babies when they come home and/or that a real estate agent is helping her look at houses. She knows that even with only 7 or 8 kids there is no way that she will make enough money to support them without public assistance (food stamps, welfare). She expects people to feel sorry for the babies and to give her what she needs for them without her having to do anything but keep popping the kids out and letting everyone else support them.

What ever happened to not having more kids than you can afford? What if no one helped her? Even if she only had 8 per say, could she do it on her own with no help? I think that her parents have enabled her to a point that she expects to be taken care of by whomever is willing to do it She is little more than a spoiled child herself and I don't think she plans on doing anything on her own cause she has her parents and the taxpayers to fall back on to do it for her.
