Hi, how are you?  This is crazy, Tecumseh is such a small town.  I attended elementary school there, actually I think I attended all of the elementary shools.  Tecumseh Acres, Patterson and I can't remember the name of the other, but when I attended it was full of only fifth graders.  I wonder if it is still like that. I also attended the first year of middle school and then I moved to Adrian and went to Madison High School, graduate of 2001.  I now live in Oregon.   

Nice to see someone else from the Tecumseh.   

That is so cool. My husband used to run track for Whitmore Lake. He graduated in 1990. You two probably competed against each other. 

My Dad & his siblings still live there. My Aunt still works at the U of M. I hear that it is just growing like crazy in that area. I haven't been in so long.   

It is so awsome to hear from some body from home. 

Come this friday October 13, 2006 my family , myself, husband and children ages 4 and 16 are going to be homelss and no one will help us.  I have wrote one of our govoner challenger where i live, the news problem solvers, even asked Dr. Phil Million Dollar Challenge for the Children for help, called churches, community action centers and no one has offered to help us I have gotten sorry we are out of money or else you make to much.  We need to come up with $2,000.00 to keep our place.  My husband got injured 3 weeks ago and I have alot of health problems that keep me from working.  I am so scared and dont know what we are going to do its cold here.  Please cant someone help us out of this nightmare.  This has effect my health that my already dangerously high hypertension has gotten worse worrying about what is going to happen to us.  I hope that Dr. Phil's Million Dollar Challenge for the Children is all its cracked up to be and that they really do want to help the poor Children because that is exactally what my family is one of the poor and forgotten.  If not then I guess I have lost all my faith in Dr. Phil.  We live in Michigan.   

Hi. Is anyone from Monroe, Michigan? I am a mother of three children and one adoptive child. They are 21, 18, 16, and 15. They are great children and I want to learn how to be a better mother for them. I would like to meet people in our county so we can have some kind of support group with each other. I've seen messages from Tecumseh and Dundee. Hi neighbors.

I just losed custody of my 4yr old daughter to my ex hubby that is a ex felon an now he is tring to use DHS again to try and get my rights taking from me because he dosn't like the fact that my boyfriend of 3 and ahalf years has asked me to move in with him and he is a guard at one of the local prisons..

When our daughter was a year ahalf old my boyfriends dog had soft mouthed my daughters hand an left a mark but didn't puncher the skin. At the time that this happened me and her dad was going though a divorce that got dragged on for three years because the judge at the time was a traveling judge and was a judge for three different countys. This DHS worker and my ex 

at the time played Judge and Jury and made sure that I didn't see my daughter for 6mos without a judges order.. But still I didn't get to make any of that losed time up.. I also ant able to see my 14yr old son without his dad been with us because another Friend of the court in a different county in Michigan used the dog thing againest me and my Son was already with his dad at the time that happened...

I have went as far as writing letters to our govener and the DHS Dir in Lansing about there DHS people just get away with there BIOS crap and this new judge ant any better then the old judge the whole thing has been BIOS againest me since the start of the divorce because he filed it in the county in which he lives..

I am also not able to work because I was born with a BAD back and have two steel rod's on each side of my spine that too was used againest me in both my childrens custody case's.. I'm not saying I haven't tried to work I have had job's in the pasted but was let go after one of my co-workers had seen the scar on my back...

So to all the single mother's in Michigan I hope you have better luck with the michigan legal system then I did!!! An if any of you single mothers in michigan have went though or are going though something like I have or close to it please email me....
