Where at in Michigan?

I need help!! I am a single mother of 3, my divorce should be final in May. I would like to make some new friends. I feel like I am all alone , and I am scared. It would be nice to be able to talk to some-one. I have decided to go back to school full-time, to become a Medical Biller. I didnt have a back up plan, when ex hubby left. It would be very nice to be able to go out and talk to some new friends about different things that are going on. Of course I am a good listener. I am living in Saginaw. I'm sorry to hear about your divorce. I went through a divorce 6 years ago. It sounds like you are right on track with getting your education good for you that is a very hard thing to do. Hi, I live in Gaylord.  Im a mother of 2 boys and I am looking for someone in the area that might have children and would like to have play dates.  This is probably going to be hard seeing as there have only been 2 people that have posted here but if anyone would like to just chat that would be great too.  I think that Michigan can be a lonely state in the winter with all the snow and a lot of people just stay indoors(like me) because it is just too darn cold out there.  I do take the kids out on slightly warmer days.  Its funny how when your a child the cold never seems to bother you becaus eyou are having so much fun but when you get older you feel the cold as soon as that door is cracked.

I used to live in Michigan. I now live in Florida. I really miss home but I really enjoy the weather down here.  

I was born in Ann Arbor & raised just north of there. I've on ly lived in FL since 9/01. 

Hi, my family and i just moved in November.  My husband was born and raised in Michigan but when we met he moved to be with me.  Now we're on his turf and I'm......lost.......a little lonely.....I am 30 years old and I have 2 children, my son is 9 and my daughter is 15 months.  My son is a little homesick because he misses his friends and he hasn't made any close ones here just yet.  I was wondering if there's anyone out there that would like to chat and possibly set up playdates?  It might be helpful to know I live in Jackson.   If not, does anyone have any suggestions, I was thinking of checking into a mommy and me group, if there are any in the area.  That would take care of me and my daughter.  I'm hoping my son will come a little more out of his shell soon, we have a neighbor with kids and the boy is only 1 or 2 years older.  Maybe I should put my anxiety aside and just take him over and introduce ourselves this weekend.  I'm not good at being outgoing like that.  HELP!
