GOD PLEASE REPLY

If ever you reach out in word
And feel like no one heard
To me each message that I see
Are like prayers rising up to Thee

After you left with all your tears
Combined with all your haunting fears
People stopped to read words you left
Sending prayers for you to be blessed

Parting prayers prayed to help you some
So you feel uplifted when here you come
And when no one knows what to say
Now and then know for you many pray

Thus if after you bare your soul
You feel no one heard... not one soul

Many arrive a wilting rose
Alone in their thoughts of doom and gloom
With fellowship become a budding rose
Renewing strength in smiles that bloom

Religious bring their Bible verses
To remind us why we all are here
God knew we ALL were hurting
Needing cyber hugs and cheer

Some stop by holding onto boot straps
With just enough strength to hear a cry
Yet still stick around to dry some tears
With posted cyber hugs and Hi’s

Tears blotted dry with cyber kleenex
And comforting words from all
To rise up again within compassion
So our hearts no longer crawl

Many at end of rope of whether
“To be or not to be”
Later transformed to cyber angels
Sharing the answer is “TO BE”

Hi All ... Prayers Please...

My mother's house is up for sale and I would like to own this house. I have some health issues I'd like successfully attended to as well. I lost my house during my own personal catastrophic event in 1994. Helped my mother to have this house that is now up for sale in my home town. I just want to have my own home in my home town again before I die and I'd like this house of my mother's that is for sale (refurbished) since my mother planted trees and rose bushes there and loved that house. As well, I need prayers for family illness...healing. Of course, too, prayers for all the Hurricane Katrina Casualties and Survivors and anybody else, such as me, that is suffering personal catastrophic loss. Prayers that we will have world wide love, honor and respect for ourselves and each other around the world with everybody. May we all count our blessings and be grateful for what we have even as we hope for better. Sweet Dreams and Blessed tomorrows for you, me and ALL Please note: Blessings attached to this post via prayer for all who come here. Amen and Amen

IF you are like me and your prayers for others often seem answered more than your prayers for you...post your prayer here for others to pray for you and please pray for me too. I will pray for whoever posts a prayer request as, hopefully, will others who stop by I'm certain. My prayers seem to work better for others than myself...so please pray for me and we will pray for each other here. Here is link that I can look at until house that was mother's sells realtor.com/Prop/1051004469 as except for a miracle no way I can have this house as my own and renovated. Now way except for a miracle that all my dental and medical needs met. So I guess that is my prayer is for these miracles to happen. Thank you and Hugs to you too. Anyone who has been writing on here for any length of time should know BUCK!! 

 

I know that Buck is from Louisiana.  Does anyone on here ever write to him by email?  I am so worried about him.  I am wondering if he is ok or what is going on with him since Katrinia hit.   

 

If anyone knows anything about him, Please LET ME KNOW.  MY HEART goes out to him and his family.

See if your City can have a Ctiy Wide Garage Sale at Malls. A coordinated effort where monies go to Red Cross and charities take whatever items are not sold.

Hi. Good morning. I have an IDEA...

What about a CITY WIDE GARAGE SALE next weekend and once a month at several local MALLS for those who don't have money to offer Red Cross et al. Organization and a good plan is paramount. Have charity organizations there to pick up what isn't sold. Saves on gas to have located one place for people to buy and sell items being asked not to donate that other people in need could still use. All proceeds going to Red Cross et al charity organizations.

Area residents could bring their items they'd have in a garage sale and what doesn't sell local charities could have and cash made could go to local charities too.

I think a good idea, too, would be to have a CITY warehouse with credit cards made for the needy who could shop there FREE for just such items.

It makes a lot more sense to recycle items than waste landfill space. Recently, the monthly Dallas city trash people were inching towards me with HUGE pincher truck that picks up items to throw into a larger city truck that goes around picking up items set out in front to take to dump. I was old enough to be their mother and nobody got out to help me as I scrambled to retrieve books being thrown out (I'd seen on my walk) to donate to the library. It was scary having that big pincher truck edging towards me to intimidate me to stop retrieving Excellent condition books to donate to the library.

It would save gas to have a local spot for garage sales for those who want to purchase items to help Hurricane Katrina Casualties. You might be saying "If people can buy items why cannot these monies be used to send." Well, LOTS of people are buying used clothes and furniture because they cannot afford new. Some buy gifts at garage sales that cannot afford new. Lots of people have been hurting for some time and just only at times like this do we have to take pause to notice.

I see on message boards online American after American posting unable to afford medication, medical care, food and clothes and furniture etc. etc. etc. People who have lost homes 13 years ago and still haven't replaced. People about to lose homes. When it is a large group it gets our attention but even as I type people are becoming homeless within their own personal catastrophic events. People, who like all hurricane Katrina's casualties don't know where to turn.

Organization is paramount in a one for all, all for one nationwide team effort and I have seen FOX 4 organize many such philanthropic humanitarian efforts and I applaud you and hope you will brain storm with Mayor Laura Miller. Hillary Rodham Clinton said in her book, "It Takes a Village" that it takes a village and it does.

Might help if you list different skills volunteer organizations need. I am able to travel to help at gulf coast "and" have typing skills. Thank you: SEA, Dallas, Texas....

I have been worried about Buck as well. We continued to stay in touch via email for a while so hopefully he still has the same address. I have emailed him and asked him to let us know how he is. Now we just have to pray that he will be in a position to receive that email.  

  

I have also been looking for his phone number, from ages ago, I so hope that I can find that. If I have any luck I will let you all know about it as soon as possible.

I have been so distressed over all that has happened, I have to say I felt some of the sting myself today. It is true you have a way with a prayer to be sure, but I would love to see you have your own prayers answered as well. Sea you are so dear to me, please always remember that. I will be happy to continue to pray for your house to come back to you and for your heart to feel safe and your body free from physical pain. 

 

I am so glad that you did this. I really do believe that prayer in numbers does make a difference. Remember this line "On Earth As It Is In Heaven." That is the earth that I pray for.
