GOD PLEASE REPLY

If ever you reach out in word
And feel like no one heard
To me each message that I see
Are like prayers rising up to Thee

After you left with all your tears
Combined with all your haunting fears
People stopped to read words you left
Sending prayers for you to be blessed

Parting prayers prayed to help you some
So you feel uplifted when here you come
And when no one knows what to say
Now and then know for you many pray

Thus if after you bare your soul
You feel no one heard... not one soul
I wanted you to know I stopped by
Said a prayer for you signed please reply

UP OR DOWN

YOU are YOU
I am ME
WE are WE

THE ANSWER IS TO BE

We have never seen each other
And by a miracle of fate just met
Along a Cyber Jesus moment
Catching same prayer wave upon the net

Doc Phil board is nectar of joy and hope
For bees low on honey in cyber flight
One by one here came all of us
Riding angel wings quick as light

Many arrive a wilting rose
Alone in their thoughts of doom and gloom
With fellowship become a budding rose
Renewing strength in smiles that bloom

Religious bring their Bible verses
To remind us why we all are here
God knew we ALL were hurting
Needing cyber hugs and cheer

Some stop by holding onto boot straps
With just enough strength to hear a cry
Yet still stick around to dry some tears
With posted cyber hugs and Hi’s

Tears blotted dry with cyber kleenex
And comforting words from all
To rise up again within compassion
So our hearts no longer crawl

Many at end of rope of whether
“To be or not to be”
Later transformed to cyber angels
Sharing the answer is “TO BE”

More Child Abuse Statistics

How many children are abused and neglected in the United States?
Each week, child protective services (CPS) agencies throughout the United States receive more than 50,000 reports of suspected child abuse or neglect. In 2002, 2.6 million reports concerning the welfare of approximately 4.5 million children were made.

In approximately two-thirds (67 percent) of these cases, the information provided in the report was sufficient to prompt an assessment or investigation. As a result of these investigations, approximately 896,000 children were found to have been victims of abuse or neglect—an average of more than 2,450 children per day.

More than half (60 percent) of victims experienced neglect, meaning a caretaker failed to provide for the child's basic needs. Fewer victims experienced physical abuse (nearly 20 percent) or sexual abuse (10 percent), though these cases are typically more likely to be publicized. The smallest number (7 percent) were found to be victims of emotional abuse, which includes criticizing, rejecting, or refusing to nurture a child.

An average of nearly four children die every day as a result of child abuse or neglect (1,400 in 2002).

Who is more likely to be abused or neglected?

No group of children is immune. Boys and girls are about equally likely to be abused or neglected.

Children of all races and ethnicities experience child abuse. In 2002, one-half of all victims were White (54 percent), one-quarter were African American (26 percent), and one-tenth (11 percent) were Hispanic. American Indian or Alaska Native children accounted for 2 percent of victims, and Asian-Pacific Islanders accounted for 1 percent of victims.

Children of all ages experience abuse and neglect, but the youngest children are most vulnerable. Children younger than 1 year old accounted for 41 percent of all abuse-related deaths reported in 2002; three-quarters (76 percent) of those killed were younger than 4.

Who reports child abuse and neglect?

In 2002, more than one-half (57 percent) of all reports made to CPS agencies came from professionals who came in contact with the child. Teachers (16 percent of all reports), legal, law enforcement, and criminal justice personnel (16 percent), social services workers (13 percent), and medical personnel (8 percent) were the most frequent sources of reports in 2002. Many people in these professions are required by law to report suspected abuse or neglect.

However, many reports (44 percent) came from nonprofessional sources, such as parents, other relatives, friends, and neighbors. Anonymous reports accounted for 10 percent of all reports in 2002. It is important for everyone to know the signs that may indicate maltreatment and how to report it. We all share a responsibility to help keep children safe as we take steps to prevent abuse from occurring in the first place. (For more information about recognizing child abuse and neglect, see Recognizing Child Abuse and Neglect: Signs and Symptoms on the National Clearinghouse on Child Abuse and Neglect Information website.

Statistics in Child Maltreatment 2002 refer to cases of harm to a child caused by parents or other caretakers; they do not include harm caused by other people, such as acquaintances or strangers.

...I hope Everyone had a Blessed and Merry Christmas...

...Prayers Please y'all...

My brother said he was going to call and didn't and I called and nobody answered. Not even one of his three roomers.

So I thought:

1. Maybe all their mouths are full since we often don't answer if eating.
(Since my brother was making Christmas dinner.)

2. I thought: I hope Rich's dad didn't take a turn for the worse and they all are at the hospital.

3. Then, my mind started hoping not carbon monoxide poisoning from heating since that happened to me once etc.

I said, enough of this... He'll likely be at his online job in the a.m. So, I just went to check and he's not at his online job. So, now, I'm just almost officially worried. I hope my brother and everyone there is okay...

Hello my name is Dawn Johnson.  My previous name before marriage was Morgan.  My sisters name is Joyce Cindy Morgan and she does have two children named Amanda and Victoria.  I never knew about Amber.  I do know she also has girls named, Christina, and Jessica.  I do know that we are speaking of the same person.  You see my mom and I were just talking about wanting to find her grandchildren / my nieces.  She also had a son named Kenneth who passed away.  She had children by men named Norville Stockstille (Victoria and Jessica) and Glen Lynn (amanda and Kenneth).  I remember meeting Christina's father but can not remember his name, I want to say maybe it was Adrien..  I do remember him being Indian I believe.  The little boys father's name was Bill I believe.  I can not remember what she named him.  You see I would see my sister in spurts usually with a new baby in her care and I never really had a chance to get to know them nor did my parents, of whom, now only one is alive (my mom).  We would desperately love to help in anyway that we can and would also LOVE to meet these girls that we have never had a chance to get to know, provided they would be willing to meet us.  My search for my sister or her children provided no result until I found your posting.  We did find out that Amanda's father passed away in 2006.  Please contact me at dawnmorgan2005@sbcglobal.net..  My mother and I are still trying to remember the names of all of her children and will provide anything we come up with.

i thank you very much for this information.  we have now found 4 sisters total , and know aproximately were amanda is at.   if anyone has any information on the wearabouts of any of these children please contact me we are still searching for all of them and there are still at least 18-20 kids out there the youngest that we know of is 6.  and we have also heard from one of her children who has recently seen and talked with cindy that she is planning to have more kids so the numbers will probably continue going up.

thanks to all who can help
