GOD PLEASE REPLY

If ever you reach out in word
And feel like no one heard
To me each message that I see
Are like prayers rising up to Thee

After you left with all your tears
Combined with all your haunting fears
People stopped to read words you left
Sending prayers for you to be blessed

Parting prayers prayed to help you some
So you feel uplifted when here you come
And when no one knows what to say
Now and then know for you many pray

Thus if after you bare your soul
You feel no one heard... not one soul
I wanted you to know I stopped by
Said a prayer for you signed please reply

UP OR DOWN

YOU are YOU
I am ME
WE are WE

by: SEA

THE ANSWER IS TO BE

We have never seen each other
And by a miracle of fate just met
Along a Cyber Jesus moment
Catching same prayer wave upon the net

Doc Phil board is nectar of joy and hope
For bees low on honey in cyber flight
One by one here came all of us
Riding angel wings quick as light

Many arrive a wilting rose
Alone in their thoughts of doom and gloom
With fellowship become a budding rose
Renewing strength in smiles that bloom

Religious bring their Bible verses
To remind us why we all are here
God knew we ALL were hurting
Needing cyber hugs and cheer

Some stop by holding onto boot straps
With just enough strength to hear a cry
Yet still stick around to dry some tears
With posted cyber hugs and Hi’s

Tears blotted dry with cyber kleenex
And comforting words from all
To rise up again within compassion
So our hearts no longer crawl

Many at end of rope of whether
“To be or not to be”
Later transformed to cyber angels
Sharing the answer is “TO BE”

Thank you Denise... God Bless Us All

Quote From: sputnik56

As I drove home from church tonight I saw a magnolia tree in full bloom with a mimosa tree blooming in front of it. Made me think of you, so I whispered your name in prayer.  It was really pretty with the dark thick green leaves & white blooms of the magnolia a fitting background for the smaller mimosa with its lighter green colors & pink blossoms.

Denise

I did the same for you when talking with ggma about motorcycle riding earlier today...when I, naturally, thought about you. The way you describe this Mimosa and Magnolia sounds so beautiful. A beautiful image to keep in mind before bed. I think I WILL have Sweet Dreams and I hope that everyone here does too. You paint your post in words as beautifully as an oil painter paints on canvas with vivid imagery I can see and feel as if I were there. Thank you.

Painting Forgiveness
By: sea

We sketch out a plan
Painting out our moments
To create a beautiful day
Of various events

At the end of each day
We step back to admire
To see if a masterpiece
Or did circumstances mire

That's why God created
Moments and minutes and hours
Of days that turn into years
And forgiveness that empowers

For nobody is perfect
Yet here we all are once again
With a clean canvas
As I paint thank you and Amen

We were lucky to have 3 or 4 beautiful magnolia trees when we bought this place.  They are spreading out.  We have on large one at the corner of the house in front, and another half-grown in the front yard.  Then some smaller ones throughout the property.

They are beautiful.  When I am able, my wife and I really enjoy walking the yards and the property looking at all of the flowers in bloom, the trees, fruit trees, we even have plenty of black-berries, a mulberry tree, and trees full of mistletoe.

It's a beautiful place, and you can't help but to think of God and his splendor when you see all of the beautiful things, and the beautiful people he has created.

I tell my wife that although all of the flowers and such are beautiful, that she stands out being the most beautiful thing in sight.  She is a beautiful person, and a beautiful woman.

good night.

Good Morning All

I have just come back inside from checking out our yard.  I have a bouquet of gardenias mixed with beautiful dark blue hydrangea in my dining room.  My squash has blooms, my tomato plants have tomato's; beans, cucumbers & everything else looking good.  I am always amazed at the birth of a new plant, especially one that we have planted ourselves.  It is Gods renewal process & it renews my soul to see all this growth.  It is beautiful mornings like this that make living  in the country worth all the hassles.  The news out of the city today is all about ozone warnings, telling people with breathing difficulties to stay inside, but here all we smell is Gods bountiful blessings.

I pray we all have a blessed & glorious day today!

I SO want to escape this City with its polluted air now for going on two weeks of red ozone warnings of unsafe air. My mother loved Hydrangeas and your words are like poetry that allow, at least, my mind to escape to see the rapture of God's renewal with a breath of fresh air in this post of yours that, too, is a bountiful blessing of God. I just read to Lynn and he thinks so too. Thank you for these inspiring words with such vivid imagery. For a moment...we felt like we were there. Hugs and prayers, YYC

Good Morning

Well, it is official there is no funding in our county for Kenny's continued treatment. I will go and pick him up on the 26th of this month. They have to let him out cause there is nothing more they can do for him. Now I have to change gears and get appointments with med. doctors and his therapist. I also have to make an appointment to have his SSI transferred to me. I don't know how much we will get cause it goes by hubby's income. I hope that he will get something cause if he doesn't get anything for a year than it will be dropped. I would like him to be able to have this to fall back on when he is 18. He will probably be on probation too cause of all of his charges. Well I am in this for the long haul. They said that right now his best bet is to get help from the legal system. This is hard to believe that the legal system can help but there is no other option. I pray that he has learned something and I won't have to take alot of abuse. I will have to pick my battles cause he is a 16 year old teenager and they can be difficult anyway. Well I have 11 days to get every resource that I can find available to help him. I did find a school where he can do packet work for the summer to catch up on some of his credits. I am going to do anything I can to help him he just needs to realize that he is the one who will have to do all the work. I can guide him with God's help and I hope and pray that he follows. I also have to find out more about the college that Ronny is going to go to and find out how much money we are going to have to come up with by the fall. With Kenny's doctors appoinments and meds and Ronny's college we are going to be eating alot of beans and peanut butter sandwiches. Oh well. God will provide.  God Bless and Take care.    Linda

Hi Linda... This is for you... In Memory and Honor of, your daughter, Cindy...

FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND
by Mary Stevenson (modified a bit)

One night a woman had a dream.
She dreamed she was walking along the beach with the LORD.

Across the sky flashed scenes from her life.
For each scene she noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to her, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before her,
she looked back at the footprints in the sand.

She noticed that many times along the path of her life
there was only one set of footprints.

She also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in her life.

This really bothered her and so
She questioned the LORD about it:

"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:

"My daughter, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”

The Lord replied,
“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you.”
