I'm starting the WLC today. Is there anyone else in Louisiana who would like to buddy up? I could use all of the support that I can get.

Did you ever find a weight loss buddy? I know it has been 2 years. Are you doing okay with the weight by now? I am trying to get started. I ama widow with a terrible weight problem (70-80 lbs.).  sam in Baton Rouge.

My name is sandy and I live in a small town in Louisiana. I am 53 yrs. old and a wife and mother of 4 adult kids and grandma of 2 want to work at losing weight cause i want to live to see my grandkids grow up.  Would like to be able to help someone else to do the same to encourage and to be encouraged.

HI everyone,

 

I am in Laplace and would love someone to kick my butt into gear when I need it. I am about to start Dr. Phil's challenge as I have tried pretty much everything from A to Z. I even thought about doing the gastric bypass but that would have to be my last resort. I have about 100 lbs to lose but will be happy with 50. LOL

No one would believe (without pictures, probably) that I was an underweight child and newlywed a long time ago.  My husband thought I needed to gain weight!  Well, thanks to him (didn't know better back then) and several surgeries in the last 30 years, I need to loose it...he spoils me, takes care of me, says I look great, but we both know that my health would be better with less of me.  I have bad knees and lymphodemia.

 

I don't get out much, but I have a tread mill that I can use to walk.  when I can manage it.  If an e-mail pal would help, we could encourage each other.
