Natalie Holloway

I am outraged by these slimy guys. I thought they were slime before but now after hearing what he said about Natalie, I think I would take matters into my own hands (if the Arubans won't) and get the info myself. I would kidnap them and tie them to a chair and threaten to slit their throats if they didn't tell me where my daughter was and then make an example of depac and start slicing. Then I bet they would sing like birds. they are obviously cowardsI know this sounds barbaric but we are dealing with guys here who have no quams. If Natalie was such a slut then why did they have to drug her to unconciousness to get her to have sex with them? .I normally would not think of hurting a person but when it comes to our kids, if the law won't protect them, we as parents should. I cannot imagine what Beth is going through and I hope I never find out. My daughter is 16 and I am very protective of her and my sweet boy who is 7. I have been known to get on the bus and chew out a bully in front of a bus load of kids and I have no remorse for it. That bully is now nice to my son to this day. We havn't had anymore problems since then. I have printed the list of people in Aruba to write to and I plan to write to all of them. Thank you for getting involved. I have been watching Beth on Nancy Grace before the Hurricane.

Write Aruban Officials

After watching last night's show on Natalee Holloway, I decided to write to the Aruban officials listed on Dr. Phil's website. Here is a copy of my letter. I hope all of you will do likewise to insist that justice be done. Dear (Put name of Official Here):As Americans, we cannot understand how it has not been a priority of the Aruban government to hold the individuals last seen with Natalee Holloway as responsible for her disappearance. It does not take a genius to figure out these boys had sex with her and somehow she died, while in their presence. The cover up by the Kalpoe brothers and Joran van der Sloot and hisfather is a travesty to every human decency. That they would be set free, is a disgrace to Aruba, where it is now clear not a single American is safe to travel. This entire case and the way it has been handled is an insult to intelligent beings everywhere. That this travesty could occur in the 21st Century is a crime in and of itself. In the name of God, please hold these people responsible for their crimes, whether they killed Natalee unintentionally or on purpose....their filmsy cover up is full of holes. How can they be free? How can they be believed? Sincerely, My Name and Address

The Dutch People

Quote From: visser

Unbelievable how  Americans are able to  offend a whole country and his  citizens.  Without The Netherlands, the United States of America  would not  even excist.  Many Americans are not aware of the historical fact that their Independence War of 1776 was financed by Dutch money. The Americans looked in those day to our Republic. With regard to their Declaration of Indepence they were inspired by the Placaet van Verlatinghe from 1571 (Dutch Declaration of Indepence to the King of Spain)

With such friends, the Dutch do not need an enemy anymore.

I am an American and I am very sorry my plan to not visit Aruba feels offensive.

That is not my intention at all.

I know the Dutch are a wonderful group of people. I just don't know how to help the Hollaways get justice any other way.

Again,my apologies to the Dutch.

Are you honestly saying we should look the other way about finding Natalee Holloway because the Dutch supposedly financed the War of Independence over two hundred and twenty-five years ago? I hope you are kidding? Your post is an insult to intelligence everywhere.

That your goverment is set up to protect those who happen to have influence because of their positiion in government (Judge van der Sloot) is shocking. That these men are free is a travesty to human decency everywhere.

No, i am just saying that the serious insults to  the people of Holland ("a country of whores and drugs addicts") is an indication of the mental mind of (some) Americans.

Is there a message that says that? I sure hope there is NOT a message on this board that says what you quoted in parenthesis. I have not read them all,but I would hope a message that says that  ~would be edited or deleted. That is a rotten and untrue insult and NO Americans that I know of~ feel that way about them. NOT AT ALL..........

SEX OFFENDER LAWS - THE THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR MISSING & EXPLOITED CHILDREN:

THIS TOO FROM THE THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR MISSING & EXPLOITED CHILDREN: THIS IS A GLOBAL ISSUE - IT AFFECTS ALL OF US EVERYWHERE. WE NEED TO DO MORE TO PREVENT "MISSING PERSON CRIMES." AND WE NEED TO DO MORE TO KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE & SOUND. ########################################## http://www.missingkids.com/missingkids/servlet/PageServlet?LanguageCountry=en_US&PageId=1545 Sex-Offender Laws History Prior to 1994 only five states required convicted sex offenders to register their addresses with local law enforcement. As recognition of the severity of this problem grew, Congress passed the Jacob Wetterling Crimes Against Children and Sexually Violent Offender Act, 42 U.S.C. §§14071, et seq. (“Wetterling Act”). This requires state implementation of a sex-offender registration program or a 10 percent forfeiture of federal funds for state and local law enforcement under the Byrne Grant Program of the U.S. Department of Justice. Today, all fifty states have sex offender registries. The realization registration alone was not enough came after the tragic murder of 7-year-old Megan Kanka by a released sex offender living on her street. The public outcry created a call for programs to provide the public with information regarding released sex offenders. In 1996 Congress passed a federal law mandating state community notification programs. Megan’s Law, section (e) of the Wetterling Act, requires all states to conduct community notification but does not set out specific forms and methods, other than requiring the creation of internet sites containing state sex-offender information. Beyond that requirement, states are given broad discretion in creating their own policies. The Challenge There are currently 549,038 registered sex offenders in the United States. Sex offenders pose an enormous challenge for policy makers: they evoke unparalleled fear among constituents; their offenses are associated with a great risk of psychological harm; and most of their victims are children and youth. As policy makers address the issue of sex offenders, they are confronted with some basic realities • Most sex offenders are not in prison, and those who are tend to serve limited sentences • Most sex offenders are largely unknown to people in the community • Sex offenders have a high risk of re-offending • While community supervision and oversight is widely recognized as essential, the system for providing such supervision is overwhelmed Loopholes in Current State Programs The increased mobility of our society has led to “lost” sex offenders, those who fail to comply with registration duties yet remain undetected due to law enforcement’s inability to track their whereabouts. A conservative estimate of the number of “lost” sex offenders is at least 100,000 nationwide. The wide disparity among the state programs in both registration and notification procedures permits sex offenders to “forum-shop,” research which states have the least stringent laws, in order to live in communities with relative anonymity. Recommendations • There is a clear need for more consistency and uniformity among state programs for sex offender registration and community notification. • There should be more funding to assist states in maintaining and improving these programs. • New technology should be developed for tracking offenders and improving communication between and among various agencies (law enforcement, corrections, courts and probation). It has also been stated on this board that the Dutch legal system cannot be trusted because of the situation with slave trade in the past. Nobody objected to that, saying how riddiculous it is to judge a legal system now on something that happened then.

So if that was a valid argument, then so is this one.
