hi

Quote From: tatiana78

I'm a Arubian citizen, living in Holland.

This whole Nathalee Holloway case makes me very sad.

I'm sad about how you think about  ARUBA, that Aruba is no safe anymore.

That the Arubian people don't care for your people and that we are after you $$$.

The Arubian people are hard-workers, very loyal y honest persons, that or law is not as force as the US law is true, but we are still a part of the Netherlands.

Dr. Phil with all my respect to you, because I love your show and watch it every day, I wonder have you ever been to Aruba?I don't think so.

I'm challenging you to take the courage to go to Aruba to see for yourself, and I know that you will change your point of view.

My brother was killed 7 years ago while he was working by a Colombian & Venezuelan.

But we never came to the idea to boycott Colombia or Venezuela.

We left it in the hand of GOD.

Aruba is a very small Island that depends on Tourist, I doesn't feel nice that we are in such negative view by the whole world. There is so much going on in the US so many missing persons, In Alabama are around 13 Peron's missing, all that terrorist acts, hurricanes, and so on...

I hope that when the whole truth come above that the whole us community makes a public apologize to Aruba and that you can try to change the negative view of Aruba.

 GOD BLESS ARUBA

my sympathies to you for the loss of your brother. I do not feel dr. phil is responsible for the negative feelings towards Aruba. He has basically only reported the information and facts surrounding the dissapearence of Natelly. With no disrescpect to you or your brother, you know he has passed. That is more than we know about Nately. It also seems obvious that those boys know more then you or I. And the way the authorities have handled this case is criminal. Perhaps you can help by writing to the Aruban government and asking them to coperate. Take care.

how do you know all this?

Quote From: twobabies3

1.  She should have been able to go on her Senior Class trip and not fall victim to predators looking to sexually assualt her.  She was in the wrong place at the wrong time.  There should have been a buddy system and the chaperones should have been actually chaperoning.

2.  Natalee had on a jean skirt and a modest turquoise bandana style top with Rainbow flipflops.  What is so inflamatory about this outfit?  She was NOT dressed like a slut.

3.  She was under the influence of a date rape drug and was not in control of herself.  She was immobilized and helpless... coming in and out of consciousness while being raped by the 3 perps.

4.  Given her conduct, high standards, rigorous and demanding schedule as well as numerous people that attest to her having high standards and morals... I fully believe this.  I don't know why this was mentioned as it has no bearing on what fate befell her that night.  Is someone more of a victim or less if they are a virgin??  Of course not.  I despise posters that make a mockery of this horrible ordeal and commend Dr. Phil for lending his support and resources to this desperate situation.

are you a psychic or what? who told you she was raped? she is missing that is it. if she over dosed on a party drug, that is still a question.

Agreed!

Quote From: releaze

i actually think its a great idea that all these people that want to boycott Aruba, should do so! Please, dont ever visit Aruba and the Netherlands again! Please don't travel outside the US or wherever you are from if you are world-strange, not acceptant of other country's legal systems or cultures. Please stay away from other countries if your intent is to americanise it some way or another! Please, stay away! I fully support dr. phill in asking all those close-minded world strange americans to stay off foreign soil, forever!

And please add cancun to the list! We went there for a short holliday March 2003, during spring break, on this holliday we have 'met' some of the American Youth. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never seen so much disrespect for other people with young people in my life!!! Ther were drunk the hole time having sex in the swimming pool, screaming at each other in the middle of the night not thinking of the other guest in the hotel!! Please don't get me started about the way the young girls were 'dressed'. My mother would break both my leggs before she would let me go out dressed like that! But I do believe that when a woman says no she means no, even if she's almost naked...

SO BOYCOTT CANCUN(for springbreak) SO WE CAN GO BACK AND REALLY ENJOY OUR HOLLIDAY!!

main suspect gave interview today

In a statement he told the missing teen was drunk and her girlfriends knew this, she was bossy and stepped in the car with the boys, she wanted to stay with the main suspect on the beach, but he had school next daym and left her, she stayed.

I see that the mother wants to portray and remember her girl as anti standard spring break partying drinking teen, but it looks like she is trying to blame her own parental and school responsibility on the yonuger kid, who partied with her and left her, was the last to have seen her alive.

I hope that the girlfriends of the missing teen , will testify in this civil case, they refused earlier, for their own reasons, I dont think they want to tell their parents they were drinking etc.

Many people showed me raw footage of the interview with Skeeter (worked for Dr Phil) and another suspect, Dr phil, whom I respect, concludes that the suspect told about xtc being put in drinks, while its Skeeter who introduces this theory without prove without confirmation of the suspect.

I hope justice will come, and it wont become a media spectacle, filled with baseless speculations, to boost viewer ratings for their networks, there are so many facts and fiction in this case, that everyone needs to stay sharp, or it will become an unsolved mystery.

By the way, XTC is not a date rape drug, its a Iraeli party drug, introduced to Dutch Jewish youngsters who liked the music and culture of 'Gabber' music (trance, hardcore), Gabber is jiddish for friends. It is widely used on party s, now not a big deal anymore and it is still illegal. It had its hype in 1996 in amsterdam and Israel party scene, XTC gives a drunk feeling and makes people want to hold eachother and therefor it is populair in that scene. (now less used)

XTC is never used in combination with Alcohol, it is always used in combination with Coca Cola, or just water, Because the 2 hard drugs (alcohol and mdma) dont add up. http://www.jellinek.nl/tourists/

Putting xtc in drinks by bartenders never happens and is pure fantasy, the date rape drug that people have heard about is a drug that was found years ago in England, everybody was on the look out for that drug and its symptoms, and it is less found today thanks to police, nowadays whn there is a drug used in england that was commonly used for rape, it are woman who want to rob rich men. But this happens once in maybe 3 years, Police is very alert.

I think the thruth is best served accepting that the 18 year old lady was drinking alcohol, and her friends can confirm that and should tell the thruth and stop speculation, because it will be revealed before a judge and experts, lies wont hold.

09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

Quote From: bdjrs4194

I must agree with you:

1. One person's idea of being dressed like a "slut" is another person's "trendy and cute". It's all relative. The accused said she was dressed like a slut so we say it is true?!! I personally have a couple halter tops.... since they are backless, does that make me a slut?

2. She may have made some bad choices.. we're not sure of that... but who of us hasn't (especially when we were younger)?

3. Some of these posts remind me of rape trials where the victim is persecuted for "inviting" the rape.

4. Those of you who are saying that she made bad choices, she dressed provocatively etc.... are you saying that there are certain circumstances where a person DESERVES to be killed or raped?

Some of the things that I am reading on here are apauling!  By These boys own admission they at least raped her.  In telling on each other they admitted to burrying her.  To even suggest that preasure should not be put on the only thing they seem to understand (money) is absurd.  Do I think that this would hurt even innocent people with those ecconomics? Oh yes.  But I also know that the people would then put preasure on their government to change the rules and seek justice.  This should not be a finger pointing session of who helped who's country more or anything but the issues at hand.  I have visited all these places in the past.  They are all nice places.  Bad people live even in nice places. But to suggest that justice should be swept under the rug is ludicrice.  I AM A MOTHER OF THREE AND I WOULD EXPECT JUSTICE FOR ANY AND ALL OF MY CHILDREN.  It is not fair to blame this poor mom for what news agencies are reporting or what is being said about her daughter. (who by the way may very well have been a virgin, and drinking, and actually TRUSTED three guys!  ESPECIALLY if she was DRUGED enough to get into a car with them.)  There are still virgins in this world few and far between as there are.  But as was said THAT is not the ISSUE!!!  I am PROUD rather than DISAGREEING with Dr. Phil for not making that an issue and speaking of it.  I feal that Natalee's mother has gone thru far too much already!  Yes there are many abducted teens.  One girl in my small town was murdered 10 yrs ago in Jamaica.  Never solved.  I am sure that her family would have loved for this coverage.  They do not begrudge Natalee's familee one bit for the coverage they are getting.  So  speek of what you know.  They feel that if this case IS resolved  her family wouldn't go thru what they have.  They fund a college scholarship in their daughter / grand-daughter's memory out of their small veggie stand each year.  They still cry when they speak of her.  She will be forever be 18.  I know from talking to them that they would want Natalee's family to have peace.  So if this takes a little time out of every ones busy lives to have "TOO MUCH COVERAGE" have patience and understanding.  To the others who wrote about innocent until prooven guilty-  They confessed- Of course there is going to be a little outrage.

let me tell u this.

I live in the netherlands.

i know people from surinam.

the facts are:

Joran has moods where he gets aggressive.

Surinam boys want sex all the time.

They have raped Natalee and killed her with his fathers help to dump the body!

I am glad that the US law will conduct Joran and give him a $1,000,000 fine!

He will live in poverty all his life!

p.s. Arbuba is full of corruption too

09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

Quote From: roderick7

Dear Dr. Phil,

what a very strange thing to say about the legal system of the Netherlands. If  there is one civilised country that should be ashamed of their justice, it's our beloved America.

Don't get me wrong, God bless the U.S.A.!!! But WE should be ashamed of our highly uncivilised judicial system. We have the deathpenalty for crying out loud. That's something for the Taliban. Not for proud Americans!

I understand our frustration towards the Dutch Government, but we shouldn't embarras ourselves by throwing a fit like a 4 year old and start throwing around threats of boycot.( besides the fact that it would hurt them very little since their economic position is a lot more stable and independent than ours).

It's a darn shame what happened to that poor girl, but let's divert our energy towards more important domestic issues and let's not get angry at a government with a more evolved legal system that rather protects the innocent than punishes alleged criminals.

GOD BLESS THE USA!!!

AMEN!! (A VERY proud Dutch citizen!!)

Gets you to think back

There was a case in sweden that started 1977

the diseperence of the 17 y/o Dagmar HAGELIN in Argentina / Buenos Aires

Everyone knew who was behind it all .Amilitaryman officer Alfredo Aziz

He was later (1990) convicted , but they never found him..

All thank to the WONDERFULL Government that didnt want to

show its filthy behind in this matter..this was a huge story all over the world ...

As some sources in the Argentinian Government said ..that we would *if we found him*

leave him to you is practicly none an nothing* we just cant do that...

And as we all know Germany and the Neederlands have huge money prospects in Aruba

and a close connection with the government ..those two factors leave us with another aswer

Yes they will wotk together to *hide the dirt*

I have read this story over and over again.and the final key to this is that the 3 men ARE involved

in someway .. how .. well thats another story.. lets hope time will tell.

I have listend to some radio trans. and its scares me that people / reporters are so incredible stupid that they in anywitchway they can dig up dirt and throw something that *in their bright head* just came up with ,, and *this must be it* .. like the reporter that blamed her parents .. couse he wanted the stir the pot ..and this had to be the aswer to everything ...

The girls age is irrelevant and of no matter...or that her parents wasnt around .

or that she was blonde or if she was imature or naive...

Predators / rapist  /offendors dont bite just that .. they pray at the moment

and the given surrounding....

Her parents could just as easy had been around

So she was tricked to take a ride with the boys... as so many girls do everyday /everywere around the world . just as that boys go to bed with girls at anytime ..

The only thing that martters is what happend in the car . or after the car ride.. or what the boys had planed from the get/go...

And what happens now with government /political/ gameplay...

I had a huge disscution with my  gf the other day ..abouth the violence and the criminal statistic that grows here in Sweden in a speed that is crazy ....

she said something very simple

These things happens couse W E allow it to happen..

***********************************************************

Zero tolerance is what would work to stop major crimes and petty thetfs ,,,And dammit .. i belive her

                                                                                                                                    ****************************

I belive that if the pressure from us normal people ,Dr phil included..

would acceed their tolerance level of pressure.. the trouth will come out

what ever yoy meu think the Government is our weapon and if people just get together even they have to listen..

I have 4 kids of my own ,,And i can say one thing .

If this would happend to me and my children .

i would concider my life as over ..and go for the trouth myself

nomatter the cost of money or of my life..

i have come to another revelation...people are to egoistic

to be able to *get together*

there are a few left .and they are rare. and i belive that Dr phil is one of them .

even that he earns a boudle of money to rip and tear in all this dirt ..

If you want peace ..Prepare for war ....

// angelunchained

"mankind is the only animal with no natural wepon or defence system....

so it would be great if we could be able to use our head alittle more ..

My husband is a conicted sex offender and suing me for primary custody!!

Quote From: concern789

THIS TOO FROM THE THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR MISSING & EXPLOITED CHILDREN: THIS IS A GLOBAL ISSUE - IT AFFECTS ALL OF US EVERYWHERE. WE NEED TO DO MORE TO PREVENT "MISSING PERSON CRIMES." AND WE NEED TO DO MORE TO KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE & SOUND. ########################################## http://www.missingkids.com/missingkids/servlet/PageServlet?LanguageCountry=en_US&PageId=1545 Sex-Offender Laws History Prior to 1994 only five states required convicted sex offenders to register their addresses with local law enforcement. As recognition of the severity of this problem grew, Congress passed the Jacob Wetterling Crimes Against Children and Sexually Violent Offender Act, 42 U.S.C. 14071, et seq. (Wetterling Act). This requires state implementation of a sex-offender registration program or a 10 percent forfeiture of federal funds for state and local law enforcement under the Byrne Grant Program of the U.S. Department of Justice. Today, all fifty states have sex offender registries. The realization registration alone was not enough came after the tragic murder of 7-year-old Megan Kanka by a released sex offender living on her street. The public outcry created a call for programs to provide the public with information regarding released sex offenders. In 1996 Congress passed a federal law mandating state community notification programs. Megans Law, section (e) of the Wetterling Act, requires all states to conduct community notification but does not set out specific forms and methods, other than requiring the creation of internet sites containing state sex-offender information. Beyond that requirement, states are given broad discretion in creating their own policies. The Challenge There are currently 549,038 registered sex offenders in the United States. Sex offenders pose an enormous challenge for policy makers: they evoke unparalleled fear among constituents; their offenses are associated with a great risk of psychological harm; and most of their victims are children and youth. As policy makers address the issue of sex offenders, they are confronted with some basic realities Most sex offenders are not in prison, and those who are tend to serve limited sentences Most sex offenders are largely unknown to people in the community Sex offenders have a high risk of re-offending While community supervision and oversight is widely recognized as essential, the system for providing such supervision is overwhelmed Loopholes in Current State Programs The increased mobility of our society has led to lost sex offenders, those who fail to comply with registration duties yet remain undetected due to law enforcements inability to track their whereabouts. A conservative estimate of the number of lost sex offenders is at least 100,000 nationwide. The wide disparity among the state programs in both registration and notification procedures permits sex offenders to forum-shop, research which states have the least stringent laws, in order to live in communities with relative anonymity. Recommendations There is a clear need for more consistency and uniformity among state programs for sex offender registration and community notification. There should be more funding to assist states in maintaining and improving these programs. New technology should be developed for tracking offenders and improving communication between and among various agencies (law enforcement, corrections, courts and probation). List of State Sex-offender Registry Web Sites http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cid/cac/states.htm http://www.ice.gov/graphics/predator/sexoffenders.htm Resources Some files in this section require Adobe Reader. Download a free copy or follow the links below for more information. Registered Sex Offenders in the United States (PDF) Childrens Safety Act of 2005 (H.R. 3132)

You won't find my husband in the Megan's Registry or any other registry. However, he is a convicted molester of 5 counts. He is convicted of indecent assaults and corruption of minors. One has to go down to our county courthouse to find his convictions. We are currently divorcing. We have two young children together. I am asking for supervised visits, he is "demanding" primary custody! I had no idea that a convicted child molester once off parole was able to have unsupervised visits let alone be able to sue for primary custody!!! We live in PA and apparently there are no custody laws in this regard. He currently has unsupervised visits including overnights. I had no choice. Yes, the judge knows. The judge says that he doesn't care what is in the best interest of the children. Our judge believes that both parents should always have shared custody. I am hoping to go Public with this bigtime. Our children should not be put in harms way. If anyone can help me please do. I am in 15 grand in the arrears with my lawyer fighting this pedophile. I am emotionally , spiritually, physically exhausted but WILL NOT give up on my children. I will NOT give up on trying to get PA to make laws regarding these sexual offenders. I hope Dr. Phil will one day hear my story. To tell my soon to be ex "to get real".
