DREAM DREAM DREAM

first of all let me say that i do not wish any parent to go through what the parents of nathalee had to deal with. Losing a child is the worst thing that can ever happen to a parent. I am surprised however about all the angry reactions that people have toward the people and the island of aruba. thousands of people get killed around the world every single day... america is no exception. Young people get killed every single day... again america is not an exception.

But ofcourse acccording to some of you.. nobody ever gets killed in the US... especially not young girls... ofcourse all murder cases are solved and there is never a cover up.... Sleep tight and dream on...

And??

Quote From: rainiwin

My family of four (includes two teenagers) planned and paid for a two-week cruise through the Panama Canal, which includes a day stop in Aruba in February of 2006.  I am sickened.  I have contacted the cruise line to ask that they either skip the stop or put pressure on Aruba.  If they want American dollars they better give us justice for Natalee and her family.  Stop the coverup.
And?? How was Aruba?? You went one of the best time of the year, February...Carnival season!!You must have had a BLAST!! Carnival time, nice beaches and friendly people what more can you ask for?? I'm sure you didn't stay on the ship in a boring room!! Hope you bought souvenirs and hope you visit again..

OW America....

You know, if America would do that everyone would be much happier. If America wants to be alone and 'the best' then they can have no help of other countries. Becose those are 'not so good'. (according america) And also: We as the world schould stop bying american products. Becose they MAKE you FAT. And are NOT good for you.

America wants to live the world on there way but what has americs to offer: realy fat people, very much drug abbuse, innocents in jail, everyone a gun, kill other people from other nations (Vietnam, Irak, atomic bombs on Hiroschima en Nagasaki)

As we joke here: USA: United States of Asshole's.
You won't know haw much I have heared that. WOW
America is destroying our beloved planet!!!!!

stop judging aruba and its people

Hi,

I already posted a message in here and i just read some of yours..........................It's still awfull what happened to Natalee and all those involved. I don't think a mother is waiting to hear her son MIGHT have killed a girl. And I olso can't imagine her parents will be judging all Arubans. A country or it's people çan't take the blame for action of one or more persons! And I know that's true! Remember over 50 years ago? There was this tiny little fellow with a moustache...from germany. He managed to get loads of people behind him over many years to brutally murder people in gaschambers...................................but not all people in germany (including on goverment level) supported him. It was action of one man..................only sadly enough loads of people followed him, but olso many in his country and around it worked against him. Instead of judging all people of Aruba and the Island itself.............get together and join forces in peace to get Natalee back! I will hope for all involded there'll be a solution soon to this case...................you're all in my prayers!

About Natalee and Amy...

Dear Doctor Phil,

I saw yesterday the Episode of disappearance of  Natalee Holloway and also the disappearance Amy Bradley on the Dutch TV. And I was shocked of learning what kind of cruelty there his in this world. It doesn’t mean that did ten new little bit of this, but this is extreme and almost unbelievable. People should be ware of the fact what is going on in this world and open there eye’s an ears, and trusting there instinct of danger or seeing danger.  And I sincere hope that both girls gone be found.

And that the organization of Ty Ritter will keep on finding girls in the porn world and come to there rescue. And I truly hope that god watching over those girls, and I am not a religion person, but truly hope so.

I wise both families all the luck in the world of finding those two girls and having them back in there arms again. And don’t  let this story die.. Keep bringing this up for everybody’s Zech.

Some time’s I am afraid of my little boy of 4 years old, its child that often walks away. I have lost him many time’s and found him back again. But every time he does that my hart stops beating. So yeah I do now what fear and desperation is. And what kind of cruelty there is, knowing what happened in Belgium a few years a go. Ones again good luck with an hope from my to all the families of finding those girls back.

Sincerely yours

Gaby

09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

Quote From: raine2005

Well we actually investigate crime and don't assume for 10 days that a missing person just doesn't want to go home.
Aruba officals should be ashamed of themselves and for the others who are also covering this up!

Aruba: Murder by numbers
As Coverage Mania of the Holloway story continues unabated, let's do some math. I know - we got into journalism precisely because we were told there would be no math. But let's do some anyway and answer empirically: Just how dangerous is that vicious, pirate-ridden, uncaring island of Aruba?

BY STEVE SAFRAN
LOST REMOTE MANAGING EDITOR

The population of Aruba is about 72,000 people. A conservative estimate of visitors in a given week is about 13,500. Total people on island at any given time? About 85,500.

Last year in Aruba there were two murders - possibly just one, depending on which stat you believe. We'll go with two anyway. No tourists were killed. That's a murder rate on Aruba of a little over 2 per 100,000, but we’ll call it an even 2. Or look at it this way: The Aruba murder rate is .0002.

Still, you can't go a minute without hearing about Natalee and you're worried. Maybe you're switching your vacation from Aruba to Jamaica. Bring some Kevlar. Murder rate: 32 per 100,000.

You'll be twice as safe in Puerto Rico as you would be in Jamaica. Still, it's eight times more dangerous than Aruba: 16 per 100,000 folks in Puerto Rico are going to meet an untimely end this year (with or without Greta Van Sustern caring).

If you're fine with 10 in 100,000 murders per capita, we can suggest Mexico, Estonia, Belize, the Dominican Republic and maybe Barbados during a bad year. Feel a little more secure in Costa Rica. Of your 100,000 friends, 99,994 won't get capped.

So, stick to the U.S. Virgin Islands. We run it. How bad could it be? Turns out you better leave behind a lot of clues if you're going there: 25 murders per 100,000. That's worse than ANY American city, save for New Orleans where shooting guns into the air is considered good, clean fun. The British Virgin Islands are more polite, but say “cheerio” to 11 per 100,000 chaps.

Screw it, you think, I'll just stay home. Now you're only three times as likely to be killed as if you went to Aruba, with the U.S. murder rate at about 6 per 100,000. The murder rate in New York City, from where Fox News constantly reminds us how dangerous Aruba is, was 7 per 100,000 people in 2002. And if your home is in, let's say, Alabama, up the murder rate to 7.5 per 100,000. Then wonder if one of your congressman will call for a boycott of your own state.

Obviously, there are safer places to vacation than Aruba. Go to Slovenia, Tunisia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia or Qatar and you're golden. Go to Canada, and you're as safe as you could be. Of course, it's colder than Aruba, but the murder rate is tiny. And it's much less likely your family will be pestered by Nancy Grace. She's from the south. She hates the cold.

I got a certain amount of hate mail regarding my last column on Aruba media insanity. (Ironically,
Aruba Today's editor said she loved it.) One eloquent writer asked "Do you have a life?" I think it's pretty obvious the answer is "No, of course not. I work in news." One person asked, simply "What is your point?" Context. That's my point. I am not mocking this tragedy, nor the importance of it to the family. What I am so troubled by is a national media obsession that is making Aruba look as though it is run by the Sopranos. Before we ruin the Aruban economy, which is dependent on tourism, here is a little more context:

Natalee disappeared on May 30, 2005. Also on that date, five U.S. soldiers died in Iraq: Corp. Jeffrey B. Starr died in Ramadi, and SSGT. Casey Crate, Captain Derek Argel, Captain Jeremy Fresques and Major William Downes died in Jalawah.

There are currently 19 kids from Alabama listed as missing at the
National Center for Missing and Exploited Children website. (2 are from before 1980, some are indeed "family abductions" or "runaways".)

In South Africa, two young tourists were murdered the day after Natalee went missing.

LaToyia Figueroa, a 24-year-old pregnant woman from South Philadelphia, has been missing since July. She is Black. There has been just about no media coverage (except for stories wondering why there's no media coverage). Contrast that with the non-stop madness surrounding Laci Peterson, a 27-year-old pregnant woman from Modesto, California, who was white.

35,000 children are forced to work as prostitutes just across the sea from Aruba, in Colombia.

It's unlikely you’ll be murdered in Aruba, and it’s even more unlikely the news will care. Of course, there are ways to skew the numbers. It turns out you can geometrically expand the odds of having your story covered if you’re a cute white girl with an articulate mother during a slow news cycle. This should generate a significant spike in ratings numbers; after all, that’s the only stat that really matters.

09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

Quote From: clmaberry

FIRST OF ALL, I FEEL SO SAD FOR NATALEE'S FAMILY. JUST AWFUL. I KNOW FIRST HAND ABOUT HOW WOMEN CAN BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. I WAS IN PARIS GOING TO SCHOOL, AND WAS WALKING HOME FROM A CAFE. I HAD MET A LOCAL THERE, AND HE SEEMED NICE ENOUGH. WE HAD COFEE, AND I TOLD HIM I HAD TO GO. AS I WAS WALKING HOME, I STARTED TO FEEL DIZZY AND NAUSEATED. I TURNED AROUND, AND THERE WAS THE GUY WHO I HAD BEEN CHATTING WITH. ALL OF THE SUDDEN I GOT VERY LIGHT HEADED AND WEAK. HE FOLLOWED ME AND TRIED TO CONVINCE ME TO COME WITH HIM. I ADAMANTELY DENIED, AND GETTING WEAKER TRIED TO GET AWAY. HE CAUGHT UP WITH ME, THREW ME ON THE GROUND AND TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME. AT THIS TIME I WAS TIRED, IN AND OUT OF CONCSIOUSNESS. I CAME TO WITH HIS HANDS SO TIGHT AROUND MY NECK, THAT I STILL, AFTER3 YEARS HAVE SCARS WHERE HIS NAILS WERE. I KNOW THAT I HAD ANGELS WITH ME THEN, BECAUSE OUT OF NOWHERE, I AWOKE GOT ENOUGH POWER TO KICK HIMJ AS HARD AS I COULD, AND STUMBLE AWAY. I FOUND A POLICEMAN TO HELP ME, BUT WAS HARD BECAUSE MY VOCAL CORDS WERE SO DAMAGED IT WAS HARD TO SPEAK.

LATER, THE DOCTOR FOUND TRACES OF A HEAVY SEDATIVE THAT HAD BEEN IN MY COFFEE.

I WANT NATALEE AND HER FAMILY TO FIND PEACE, AND THE SCUM WHO DID THIS.  BECAUSE I NEVER FOUND THE PERSON WHO ASSAULTED ME.
