Natalee

As Americans, we possess more power sometimes than we are aware of. Everyone needs to work and bombard these authorities with mail, and demand they give this family answers regarding the whereabouts of their daughter. I cannot imagine what it must be like not to know the whereabouts of my child-the uncertainty these parents, friends and family members are having to live with.  Personally, I have followed the case and my own personal belief is that the authorities are covering up to protect their own. It's obvious. But what they don't realize is the POWER we have.  If we completely stop giving them our business, maybe then they will understand the force they are reckoning with. This could be any of our children--anyplace.  We cannot let this story just fall to the waistside--It is up to Americans to support one another and get answers for this family. We ARE ONE. I want this family to know they are in our prayers, our thoughts, and we support them. 100%..Let's get some answers!!!!

another point of view

You're simply helping to form a lynch mob.   The Aruban people, the Dutch government, and even the Aruban authorities have bent over backwards to help and accomodate this woman, yet she will not accept the laws and justice system of another country.  Let's not try to punish the people and businesses of the whole island when this woman's anger is directed at a few authorities.   The Dutch government even sent their Marines thousands of miles to help look for this teenager - something I doubt that the US government would do in a similar situation.  How do you think Americans would react to some arrogant foreigner ranting and raving about how badly our police and justice system was performing?   What I'd like to know - and what has never been asked - is why in the world was a teenager from Alabama allowed to go thousands of miles from her home just for an excuse to party and drink when there are dozens of places in the US that would welcome her tourist dollars?   Why are we concentrating on this one white teenage girl when there are many, many more Americans in similar situations whose stories go unnoticed because they do not have some annoying woman pestering everyone?    I would certainly not blame the Aruban government for banning Beth Holloway Twitty from ever stepping foot on the island again.

Freedom of speech

Am Sorry for what Natalie's mother is going thorough . No parents should have to suffer the lost or disappearance of a child. But Dr. Phil and every branch of media sometimes takes the pain of these family and go over board. Am saying that these young men are guilty and not saying that they are Innocent but the went off with each other was drinking and may have consented to sex. Natalie and her friend who left her with these guys need to be  held responsible for their mistakes. My friends and I have a rule we come together and leave together.

Has a young woman my self at that age there were things that I did not tell my mother of my life and I may have acted differently when I was not in my mothers eye sights.

My comment to Dr. Phil I know that you have freedom of speech but the comments you made today regarding a little Island was WRONG you should have never said what you did because MANY foreigners come to this county a day and If they felt the same has you did for Natalie miss in a foreign country how do think that they feel when their loved one comes the  United States and ends up missing or even worse

Three things

She was drink

Her friends left her

09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

I'm so sorry for this tragedy.  I'm so angry at this situation its not being taken care properly.  I cant sit here and say that I know how it feels, because I don't and I think that you are doing a heck of a job.  The day I heard of this story I felt sad, angry and many more emotions, I just don't understand how anybody wont come forward and confess.  I've been praying since the day I heard that Natalee was missing and I'm still praying for her and her family. May God Bless You and give you strength.

                                                                                                           Coming from the HEART,

I agree lets start with all the missing children in the United States. Start writing emails to your congresspeople to demand more attention to our missing children here in this Super Powerful country.

09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

Quote From: wilders

LaToyia Figueroa, a 24-year-old pregnant woman from South Philadelphia, has been missing since July. She is Black.

The murderer has been caught, Her mother has proof of a job well done by the police.

I support all mothers who have the guts to come forward and ask for help. regardless of colour.

MURDER IS NOT A COLOR THING.

You are really good at giving us statistics, but hey WHAT IS YOUR POINT?  That because there were only 2 murders in Aruba that they shouldn't be persued?  Get real.  No one should get away with murder and the attitude of these young men is disgusting.  This wasn't the first girl they were with.  Obviously they have been pulling this little stunt for some time.   I know that every girl in this country has probably been in Natalee's shoes at least once in their lives.  And luckily for most of us, we get to walk away from it, and learn from our mistakes.  My heart goes out to Natalee's family because she was the unlucky one.  The lesson we girls can all learn is to stick together and watch out for one another.  Never leave with a stranger and never let your friends do it either.
