Not only Americans

It is NOT only Americans who need to put pressure on the Gov't in Aruba.  It is NOT only Americans who should demand answers...it is all of us, all potential tourists who must say we WILL NOT put $$ into the country of Aruba in the form of tourism!  Dr. Phil, you are speaking of this an a US issue, it's not...it's a world issue!

09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

As a mother of a daughter i am horrified at how the disapearence of Natalee is being handled.  This is a beautiful, smart girl whom was on her way to becoming something truely special.  I can't help but feel sheer rage and compassion for Natalie's mother.  We as mothers of daughters try to raise our daughters to be strong, passionate, young woman yet all can  be taken away in an instant by some deliquent juviniles on a  cowardless island.  I can't agree more when doctor Phil says that we need to stand up and say that this is not okay.  We need to take Aruba by horns and if that means that we as americans cut off our tourism then i say let's do it and do it now.  This is unjust and simply unacceptable!!!

UNTIL THE CRIMINALS COME TO JUSTICE AND THE BODY OF NATALEE IS FOUND AMERICANS SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM ARUBA AND THE NETHERLANDS.  THIS CRIME NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN RESLOVED. AFTER HEARING FROM THIS SHOW AND WHAT THE POLICE KNEW AND WHAT THOSE YOUNG ANIMALS STATED IN THEIR STATMENTS TO POLICE, THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN ARRESTED AND AND PROSCECUTED. I WOULD HAVE SAID BROUGHT BEFORE A JUDGE....BUT OOOPS....ISN'T THAT WHAT THE WHITE ANIMANL'S DAD PROFESSION.....HAS SHADES OF A COVER UP .....DOESN'T IT......HMMMMMMMMM!!!!???!!?

Tragic

It is awful what has happened, a tragic situation that I think we all know the horrible outcome but hate to think of it as such. I'm not bashing the Aruban govt because its not doing what we in the US would do, I also wouldn't dare bash Beth Twitty (as she has been on this message board) for doing anything that she is doing because of the hell that she is going through. One thing that I would like to do is ask the question of what happened to the chaparone's that were on the trip and how come other teenagers that were on the trip returned home safely?

I think any American who travels to a foreign land is putting themselves at some type of risk, whether it be from a terrorist attack or a murder. The laws of these lands are different. With that said, the chaparones had a responsibility to those teenagers and to the parents, regardless that the drinking age is 18 in Aruba. It is extremely unfortunate what has happened to Natalie, I think the chaparones owed it to her and her parents to make sure she returns home safely. I think that the next time a graduating class of some American high school thinks of going to such lengths as to taking students to a foreign country, they should think twice about it and parents should refuse to allow their children to go.

Boycott Aruba

I agree with Dr. Phil,no tourist dollars from anyone in North America should be spent in Aruba until the Aruban authorities and government come clean and find this girl.

I am a Canadian and I will never travel to Aruba.  Lets all make sure we bombard the Aruban and Netherlands authorities and government with our letters.  I am personally forwarding these addresses to everyone I know and suggest we all do the same.

Natalee

Thank you Dr Phil and God Bless you for stepping forward to help Beth.  You have been able to move mountains for many people and I know that your influence and resources will be a breath of fresh air in not allowing this matter to become a cold case.  Everyone else has dropped the reporting and I pray that your show will bring this to the front burner once again.  Beth, God is walking with you.  I continue to pray.

09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

I find it disgusting how you talk about Aruba and the Netherlands . The Netherlands send marines and even F16’s  to search for this girl. It is horrible that this happens. But this is not unique. 10’s of children get abducted in the US , without a trace. To effort we put in finding this girl is more then average.

When Katrina hits your south coast, a Dutch Naval ship was dispatched from Aruba to give aid to victims. They where there far before any US help arrived.

If you want to boycott Aruba , or any other Dutch territory, fine. Maybe it is time we stops supporting you in the war on terror, return our 1500 marines and commando’s from Afghanistan, aiding US troops. And please, return all the Dutch aid we send to New Orleans . You don’t need that anymore.

Maybe you coukd have a look at this webpage [url http://drphil.com/members/confirm/?user=1844544&hash=1d0a6bbe806c452597afe561833a59fb[/url

4600 children are abducted in the US each year. 75% is murdered. Maybe it is time to look at you selfs.

If anyone should look at themselves, it should be Aruba and some of it's people. How can anyone in Aruba support this cover up is beyond belief.. If this happened in the US, I would be equally critical. Step up to the plate and demand resolution to Natalees disappearance from your government.

This is not a lesson in statistics. It is a simple case of a cover-up on a missing person.

If Aruba truely appreciates the benifits from American tourism, then it should be carefull what they say and do.

Bring This Young Lady Home

To people of color:  Two black men were originally arrested in Aruba for this, after a description by Joren and the Kalpoes, and would probably been scapegoats as the Aruban Law Enforcement went into their homes like cowboys and took them to prison. Mrs. Twitty took up for them because she knew from witnesses and a surveillance tape that it was Joren she was with when she was seen last.  If she had not done this I truly believe they would"ve been convicted which would have been a gross mistake, but would have been Arubas' solution to this.
It took 10 DAYS  for the search at the Vandersloot home, and by then it's obvious there was plenty of time to get rid of vital evidence.
If you believe she was dressed inappropriatly you have not seen photos of her in the clothes she was last seen in. Mr. Holloway has searced in a disgusting landfill with his own hands to find his daughter, I am sure all the while afraid that he would find her and if he could handle what he would see.
As to The Netherlands: we were there for you, or did you forget all the white crosses planted on your land with our dead from WW2?  We ask for nothing more than for you to answer our call as we did yours, to be there for us as we were for you.  We are not trying to do anything but retrieve this girl, to bring her home to the country she was born it, be it dead or alive. We shouldn't leave ANY of our countrymen or women behind.  We don't have any other wish than this: help put her back in her mothers' keeping, be it dead or alive.

What is your point?

Are you following Dr. Phil only because he is saying that we all must boycot Aruba?

I think it's sick to follow one person's thought...

I think Dr. Phil must make a seconde show, but then with more guest then only the mother of that girl.

Why is Joran not in jail?

If what Natalie's mother says is true, then shouldn't Joran be in jail still? He RAPED Natalie and has no problem admitting it in his statements! That alone should be a reason for him to be a suspect and in jail. ANd, he and his father have fled? That should also be a reason for him to be back in jail. He was told he could not leave Aruba or at least not go that far. And, the Kalpoe's mother? Cleary she screwed up and then tried to fix her mistake! She is surely covering for her kids!
