09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

Quote From: grandmafuz

Haveing a open mind is Great and most Real Americans do .All they want is the truth. The Hate is comeing from the Aruba people and the Dutch. If this would have happened in the USA they would not cover it up.we have lots of missing and murdered but we track them down no matter how long it takes and lock them up. Big Differance. Grandmafuz

Yeah, i'm sure you are an expert on Dutch law and the Dutch/Aruban people.
Please....

This is really getting annoying.

We have a 10 year old missing/murdered for a long time. They didn't go search for him with 2 f16 jets. That is really exeptional. We still sent 2 to Aruba to search for your Nathalee.

It doesn't matter for the Netherlands if you visit our country or not. Boycot away if that is the best you can do.....

There has not been a cover up. You just can't accept that there is not enough evidence. If you want to blame a whole island for that, be my guest.
It does not make you a better person in my opinion.

I agree, big difference.

09/15 The Disappearance of Natalee

Dear Dr. Phil

We have great admiration for the level of quality and fact based information of your programs. Our lives have certainly been enlightened by your professional advice, and more so, we have been given the privilege of being able to understand and learn from the emotional and psychological issues of your guest and from your resulting professional interventions.

However, with disturbing disappointment, yet with confidence in being acknowledged by your professionalism, we strongly disapprove of your uncharacteristic handling of The Nathalee Holloway Case recently aired during your show. The issue being your subjective position towards the case which fundamentally conflicts with the principles of your show and, as we have grown to appreciate, your values.

Your subjective position, exacerbated by an apparent complete void of research on this subject has clearly allowed the family to manipulate your program for their personal gain similar to other popular media we consider as not being at your standards. With regards to this, and by agreeing to a boycott against Aruba, you have publicly and willingly taken a subjective position towards a nation which has held its doors open through the best, and recently, through the worst moments of your nation for the past 60 odd years.

Any genuine grief the Twitty family might have, which was clearly not evident during their extensive stay in Aruba, is no excuse for what is seemingly becoming an unfounded and personal vendetta against the people of Aruba. Everybody has the right on having his own opinion, but no one has the right on having his own facts.

It is not acceptable how the Twitty family and most of the US press have disrespected our legal system because they failed in bending the outcome to their choosing. Might we add that in Aruba as well as in the US a person is innocent until proven guilty and by you taking the position behind the Twitty family is as you, and we, say unconstitutional and shameful to the word of law of both our nations. It would have been more objective, and characteristic of you, to commend the incredible efforts our system is still allotting to this case in finding Nathalee, and on the other hand, like most of us in Aruba request an insurance fraud inquiry on the Twitty family.

Recently in New York a 5-month pregnant girl (Figueroa) went missing, however was last seen with the father of the child. The father of the child was interrogated but was not detained during the investigation which would be contrary to our legal system. It was not until they found her body that the father of the baby was detained and formally charged. No body, no case. Please explain the legal difference in handling this case and the Nathalee Holloway case. This is the start of being objective.

If you can appreciate the aforementioned, and can find yourself in considering overturning the damage this specific show has caused to itself and to Aruba, consider airing another show dedicated to the Nathalee Holloway case, however, with guests from Aruba whom are capable of explaining your audience of the facts, and not sensationalism. Needless to say, Mrs. Twitty is most welcome to be on the panel as well.

Being confident in hearing from you, we remain.

Justice

Again I ask. If you suspect such a big coverup. If you suspect curruption. Than why not sew them? Hire a dutch laywer. Hire a Dutch investigator. Hire someone who knows the dutch law and the dutch ways. Let him or her go to the island investigate and sew. Dutch law is very strict when it comes to corruption and class justice. The only thing dutch or Aruban civilians have to do is to let the autorities know they're scrambled with. And to make them know you just have to sew them. There are enough brilliant advocates eager to wait to jump on this case hire them so they can sew them. If you want the truth, this is how you get it. If you go rampant in the media you do not want the truth you just want a scapegoat.

I'll pray for the people of the United States and for wisdom for some of them.

A Mother's Heart

 Dear Beth & Family,

After watching Dr. Phil's show, I have purposed in my heart to pray steadfastly for resolution with Natalie's disappearance.  It is a mother's worst fear become real.  It is obvious from everything we see and hear that your daughter is America's best of the best!  We as a nation cannot allow this to happen.  I will also write to the Aruban government, as I hope many others will do.  We cannot allow not only this huge coverup, but also their attempts to paint a negative picture of a young woman who is innocent, loved by friends and family, American's brightest hope and future - a precious jewel!  Beth, I will also pray for you - for wisdom, guidance and direction.  You have the determination of a mother who has a missing daughter.  You need the strength and prayers of not only your friends and family, but from the nation - this is an injustice!  I want to wrap my arms around you and tell you "everything will be okay" but everything is not okay.  So I send you a mother's hug and the promise to pray!

It would seem that your long post is saying we shouldn't take this personally - think with your mind and not your heart!  That is what is so great about America - when a mother (Beth) doesn't get fair treatment for her missing daughter (Natalie) from a foreign government, we have people like Dr. Phil that will step up and do what they can to help.  By encouraging American people to boycott Aruba, we turn up the heat - when this hurts their tourism industry, perhaps we will have a better chance of their officials providing justice - which if provided initially, Beth would not have had to seek alternative help to find her daughter.  I applaud Dr. Phil!!!!  Every parent should be able to identify with this horror - many of us have let our daughters travel abroad in their Junior or Senior year - fearful, but wanting them have the experience of travel, seeing the world!   I do take this personally as I know this could be my daughter.  Thank you Dr. Phil for having a heart!

What can I say

I'm sorry for the bad englisch but thats because i'm from the Netherlands.

I saw a little piece of the show about Nathalee. It was about an police interview on the suspects.

The reaction of al the people after that gave me some bad feeling. First let it be straight that i feel sorry for her parents and wish them all the luck.

But everyone think they have found her "murderers" but no-one even knows if she is murdered.

Than that she would be drugged with XTC or something else because she wouldn't have sex on herself because she just wants it. Nooo she is a virgin and she would never do that. Damn how stupid can parents be. Young people grow and they want to explore te world.

How I know this? Well i'm 22 and thats how it goes in your childhoud. And i can tell you, my parents have given me a very good childhood!

How can you people be sow arrogant and thinking you all know that these guys killed her? Joran should have "fled" to the Netherlands. What should you do? Every freeking american is after him. This guy also wants to work on his future. And that future depands on a school here in The Netherlands. So what? Until he isn't plead guilty and there are still no good points against him, he is allowed to go anywhere he wants. Maybe she killed herself? Than you all give this guys a bad feeling for live. So dont judge to soon.

What i want to say?

Look at yourself, what did you do in your youth? Well we are not living in the 18th century anymore. Young people want to discover things and sex is one of them. So stop saying she is a virgin and would never do that. She is not Maria.

ARTICLE - "predatory game" in which women on their last night in town are selected for drugging and gang raping, then dropped off near their hotel.

[THIS IS AN INFORMATIVE ARTICLE by VAN ZANDT AND WORTH READING THE ENTIRE PIECE VIA THE THIS LINK]############################http://msnbc.msn.com/id/9398540/ ################################# PROFILER'S PERSPECTIVEFormer FBI profiler Clint Van Zandt shares his case insights, updates - MSNBC Sept 19 2005 ############################# Three and a half months ago, 18-year-old Natalee Holloway stepped into a car with Dutchman Joran van der Sloot and Surinamese brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe and drove off into the night, on what may well have been her last night on earth. We all know the story, one that cable television has told and retold: pretty, smart high school graduate goes missing while on a school trip to the happy island of Aruba. On the last night of her trip Natalee visited a well-known tourist trap and bar, Carlos ‘N Charlie’s. Any local worth his salt can tell you that women can be found there who might drink a little too much. In a worst case scenario, a woman might even be convinced to accompany complete strangers on a trip around the island, perhaps visiting upon herself a horror that she could never have anticipated. ################################ [PARENTS, TAKE NOTE OF THIS PARAGRAPH TO PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE OR TRAVEL ] While recently in Aruba, I spoke to people who told me about predators on certain exotic islands who look for young and not so young women that are spending their last night on such an island paradise. The game plan, so I’m told, is to find an intoxicated woman, or get a woman drunk, or to drug the woman. Then while intoxicated, drugged, or both; the victim, with little or no strength or ability to resist, is next taken to a lonely location, possibly gang raped, and then dumped back at or near her hotel. Were such a victim to report that she had been assaulted, local authorities would then tell her that the investigation would require her to miss her plane ride home or her cruise ship away from the island. Further, the victim is told that her life will be turned upside down by the subsequent investigation. Most women get the message – accept your fate and move on with your life. Score: predators 1, victim 0.###############################[AS POSTED ON HYSCIENCE, HERE IS ANOTHER EXCERPT]########################http://www.hyscience.com/archives/2005/09/harrytho_commen.php#################################"Van Zandt feels that the Aruban authorities have enough to charge the suspects with lesser offenses, and I believe that most of us on the planet would agree with him.***************************************************************************************""Clint van Zandt, likewise, discussed the "predatory game" that is active on the island of Aruba, something we've alluded to before. Essentially, he describes an old "cutting" game in which women on their last night in town are selected for drugging and gang raping, then dropped off near their hotel. If they complain, the police describe, in detail, how they will be required to remain for the prosecution. Van Zandt concludes that most, if not all women, just pick up their goods and leave without seeking any further action. "################################

Joran van de Sloot is in the Netherlands

I find it absolutely horrifying that Joran van de Sloot and his father have been allowed to take refuge in the Netherlands with this case still open in Aruba.

I would like Doctor Phil to extend his boycott of Aruba to the Netherlands as well.

unbeliveable - Aruba People

Dr. Phil

i can't begin to tell you how i feel about this case. Beth and her family are in our prayers i hope they find Natalee so they can closure one way or another. I have 3 children and my heart goes out to Beth and her family..

I am so disgusted with the Aruba Judge and Police and in the show you have a tape interview with one of the suspects mom on it she has no remorse for what her son knows or did to Natalee.. That makes me sooo sick!!  Then the father and son that moved to Netherlands "NO COVER UP THERE".. My husband and i thought about going to Aruba for vacation with our children but there is no way i would go knowing that they take your money and you don't return home from was suppose to be an awesome island.. Shame on Aruba and everyone that is covering this up..

I will be writing the officials that you have listed also..

I am sure the 2 f16  was just their way of back peddling for getting busted doing a sloppy job with the investigation.  the only thing I think Aruba is covering up is that they  screwed the case up. That is very clear and I think your poor dutch pride has been hurt.
