I am outside Chicago about 100 miles west. I have no children of my own, but my nephew is living with my boyfriend and I. He is going on 14 and a pistol sometimes. (Not my boyfriend) HAHA!!

I live in Illinois just outside of St. louis. I also have the same problems with my kids not listening. Mine are girls and are 12 and 6.

Hello I am from Illinois I have 1 boy and 4 girls of my own and 1 stepdaughter everyother weekend and in the summer my son is 4 and the girls are 3,4,11,12,13 it is tough most of the time ,but you have to remember you are in charge. If the kids don't  want to listen there has to be some sort of consinquence that has to follow.First make sure they are well a wear that you are the adult and they are the children and they need to respect you and make it clear to them that you know you are not there biological mother,but you care for them and love them very much and if they ever need to talk you are there for them.You should start by taking things away from them if they do not follow the rules and treat you with respect such as radios tvs computers games etc. until they understand that you are not going to tolerate such behavior.As for arguing among siblings I haven't mastered that one yet! lol If you care to chat I  would love to hear from you.

I am a mother from central illinois. I have one 2yr old, one due in feb. (both boys) and a stepson who is 2. I am just looking for someone who wants to chat. I am also a stay at home mom with lots of time on her hands looking for somthing to keep me busy.

Things have been busy here. I am being induced next thursday. I can not wait. My second and last child. Its another boy. We are naming him Ethan Nicholas. This last week will drag I know it.
