Most states exempt breastfeeding from indecency statutes, even if OMG!  the nipple is showing.  

  

Calling  the cops and infringing on another person's legally protected civil rights because of your own person squeamishness could buy you a lawsuit,  so you might want to be careful about your vindictiveness.   

  

As for self respect, those of us who do nurse in public have enough self respect not to let other people shame us into thinking there is something dirty or obscene about feeding a baby.

My girls and I went out for lunch today and we ate in a restaurante that allows smoking, I noticed that even in the non smoking section, you still get a whiff of cigarette smoke and just walking by a person who is smoking, actually casues others to inhale some, to me that is offensive but do I have the right to go up to a smoker and say hey, I don't smoke and your smoke is going into my lungs, I think it is unappropiate for you to be smoking, are they going to stop? probably not becasue they have the right to smoke becasue it is legal and they are in a place that allows smoking, if smoking is not aloud then there are signs posted that states no smoking. As far as teen age boys, it isn't going to hurt them to know what breasts were really made for, if it wasn't meant for a womsn to nurse her child then she wouldn't develop milk after bearing children, therefore there is absolutely nothing wrong there, boys are obsessed with sex because of what they are exposed to, not becasue of a nursing mommy, look at the advertisemetns in department stores or catalogs that sell under garmetns or bikinis, what do yuo usually see, women with about 90% of their bodies revealed and what they do have on is tightly worn and you can see every shape and form of the body, women are portrayed as sex objects and this is what turns the males on. How often do you see men in their tight fitting underware on in the store advertisements? not very often, it is women that is looked up as playmates and it is the women who reveals the ajority of her body which always shows much more then nursing mommy. I don't hear any fussing over the models on tv and magazines, and even young girls revealing their bodies and young boys who wear their pants down to theri knees showing theri hind ends, I am sure there are peopole who are offended by these type of things but there is absolutely nothing they can do about it because it is legal. I can almost bet that every one here is offended by something and that there are things that every one oo us do that would offend others, but if it is a legal thing there is absolutely nothing we can do about it, believe me, if i had my way, there wouldn't be any smokers in any public building, including the public bathrooms buy hey, they have their rights and in the same way that those of you who are against nursing in public, it is a legal act, so you may as well, get used to it and walk away from the scene. Now, I believe all people should have respect for those around them and not to be rude and uncaring, all of us need to be polite and do our best to keep peace but yet as long as we are in the legal right to do something, we can continue it regardless of what others think. Gee, if we did away with every offensive thing in this society, we all might as well just stay behind closed doors casue somebody is gonna be offended by something. debate it all you want, but for now, nursing in public is legal...................

I watched the debate on should you show your breasts or should you keep them covered outside your home.  With Synnora I got the impression that she is the type that wants to be seen and she has a point to make her sexuality on the other hand Shelly has a higher standard and she seems to appreciate privacy and modesty.  Shelly has nothing to prove and she demands respect.  Synnora has no respect for herself or her boy friend or husband whe she did not speak of.  This brings me to a point of interest and a question.  Why is it that since we are talking about a womans breasts which are sex organs that there was no mention of what the husbands or boy friends thoughts are on this.  I as a husband do not or would not want my wife to expose her breasts (sex organs) in public any where.  Not in the car, not on a bus, ont on an airplane, not at the park.  Even though a woman has a right according to the law and as it says as long as the female breasts is not exposed so as to create desire you may expose the breast to include the nipple.  Now how does a girl since we have many that have children at very young ages and how does a woman not think they are not getting young boys or young or old men excited when they see the female breasts exposed.  Some I think do such as Synnora because she says to get over it.  I tell you this if I were married or attached to someone like Synnora it would not be for very long because this is not the quality of person I would want as a wife or to raise my children.  What has happend to us so that we are 61% in favor of a womans right to flop out her breasts in public view.  Is there not anything sacred and private with in the marriage.  It sounds like anything goes.  We are all aware of law makers that make laws that are unjust and immoral such as killing an unborn child and the government being able to take your home and property for what they think is a greater purpose or the irs doing the same thing.  This is a law of the land giving the feds the right to do whatever they want but we know when it affects us that the law is wrong.  It is the same with the law that says it is ok for a woman to expose her breasts (sex organs) for public view.  Instead of stipulating that using common sence so as not to draw attention to others you must have your breasts covered for the entire event.  But we have perverted judges who want to see this.  I dont even know why this should even be a topic at all I wonder just how low will we go before we self distruct.  I would like to have asked Synnora this,  do you also flop your breasts out for your dad, brother, cousin, uncle, brother in law, pastor, minister, rabi, male co workers, who do you not show them to.  Just because a woman has a baby does this mean that her breasts are no longer sexual objects or sex organs.  No man on earth is able in his heart and mind seperate this.  I have seen doctors become excited when they see fresh meat come into their office.  Think on this two people are on the subway and she decides to giver her man a frilly dilly and during this event security comes along and discovers that a frilly dilly is going on and the officer says Hey, you cant do that in public but she insists that she is thinking of it as a piece of fruit.  Does this fruit thought change what she has in her mouth, No it does not and just because women want to think of their breasts as milk jugs for babies does not suddenly stop the female breasts from being sex organs.  Since we are into womans rights and woman have the right to expose their breasts to include the nipple so dont you think men should have rights to pull their scotums out if they need air and men should have the right to expose their testicles with the scrotum.  Now that is silly and so are the women who want to show it off.  There are places that will pay women like Synnora to show it off.  Has Synnora and others like her thought of the breast pump.  This is a dandy item that allows a woman to retain the milk by refrigeration and there by can be taken on the go so as to feed the baby in a public setting.  We do not live in the Sudan where tits exposed is a way of life.  We are suppose to be civilized so as to respect our self and the ones we are with and all others.  I do not want to be in a public place and have some female plop her tits out in front of my 14 year old son and I have to explain to him that this is they type of woman that you do not want to marry.  If this is such a beatiful moment with the baby then why is it not in private where you alone can relish in the moment.  Yes everyone has a right to eat but there is something in us that seperates us from the animals, well, some of us.  I am sure that there are so many that do not appreciate the true values that hold a society together and that there are some things that ought not be done for public view but this is one example that we are morally on a downward trend and marriage between two people mean nothing.
