(Original Air Date: 10/19/05) Sexual orientation used to be something kept hidden from family and co-workers, but now more and more people are "coming out" and finding acceptance. Anjela says her mother and sister don't support her sexual orientation, and feel she can't be Christian and gay at the same time. Can they reconcile this touchy issue? Then, two men debate whether a person can go from gay to straight, and parents of a 4-year-old boy fear their son's desire to play with dolls and wear heels means he'll grow up to be gay. Are they overreacting to his wishes to be a princess instead of a prince? Talk about gender and gay issues here.

I would like to know EXACTLY where it says in the bible that homosexuality is wrong. Enlighten me PLEASE

I didn't say they should. I said I probably hoped they would and that that would lead them to agree with me. No dumping. I stated my belief and agreed that they must also reach their own conclusions. I have as much right to my opinion and I feel they have to theirs, but that doesn't keep me from wishing they'd agree with me. Is that dumping?

How do people get AIDS? You are apparently referring to the AIDS you get by having multiple sex partners or having sex with someone who has it.

I'm sure God wouldn't want condom use and safe sex practices because we are here to reproduce. That is what sex is for. He didn't make it for personal pleasure or money. He made it for his children to be born into this world. I'm also sure He wouldn't want His children to die from AIDS either.

hmmm....maybe the answer that God would want is just FOR PEOPLE TO STOP SLEEPING AROUND! That's what I'm sure God would want--one partner (one clean partner). That's just. That's right. There would be no use for "safe sex practices" if every one remained chaste until they were sure about who they were gonna be with for the rest of their life.

People in this country would believe that this was not Murder , but just a choice by a woman. How sad we have become as humans. God have mercy on us.

There were actually gay saints. Sebastian was a martyred by Roman soldiers and he was reputed for being gay. There are others, like John Bosco, but considering the homophobia of the Catholic church, details were suppressed.

Consent does rule out the evil of coercion, but does not rule out the possiblity that the act itself iself is either good or bad.

What is normal? Who is REALLY normal? Why in the world would we want everyone in the world to be "normal"? Life sure would suck if we got the same thing to eat every meal of every day and wore the same outfit every day. One person's definition of normal may or may not match another person's definition of normal and who on EARTH is to say which definition is right. Judge not....

Has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe the point isn't that God CAN"T change people, may be the point is if he ISN"T changing people than maybe they are just what he made them to be and not the scourge of society some people want them to be.
