Eighteen-year-old Natalee Holloway disappeared early last summer during a senior class trip to the island of Aruba. On a recent show, Dr. Phil joined the search for the missing teen and broke new ground in the case. He called for a boycott of Aruba and put his own investigators on the trail. Now, two months later, Natalee's mother feels there is a strong chance her daughter is still alive. Hear, for the first time ever, the evidence she reveals to Dr. Phil. Also, learn how effective the boycott is and why a pair of Dr. Phil's rescuers found themselves in need of a rescue.  Plus, Natalee's disappearance bears similarities to the case of another young woman who went missing in the same region. Meet the parents of Amy Bradley and see what strong evidence has them holding onto hope that their daughter is still alive.  Join the discussion.

Find out what happened on the show.

11/17 The Search for Natalee and Amy

Not just emotional...I find those posts scary.

I do understand the frustration that is always felt over any unsolved crime, but in civilized nations, when there isn't sufficient evidence to prove the commission of a crime, the police can't arrest and imprison people. I recognise that this principle of fundamental justice is currently being ignored in the US, but that shift is a horrifying development to those of us who value human rights.

why are you blaming the US for what seems to be arubas problem with following leads and doing good police work. they could have done questioning, searches of the homes and the car she was last seen in without imprisoning them. why did they acts so fast against the black men. they had less cause to arrest them but they didn't hesitate.  you are making this a US government problem when it lies with original bad police work from aruba. now you blame th mother for getting upset and boycotting the island. why wouldn't she want to bring awareness to the lack of competence there.  i don't follow your logic.

Why should president Bush get involved, because she is another Blond haired blue-eyed caucasion?? Belive me she has enough people looking for her....We should spend so much time on ALL the missing persons in THIS country...Maybe even devoting more time to the ones who weren't drunk and careless...Boycott Aruba for one missing person,PLEASE if the start having good deals on flights and hotels, I'LL be on the first flight out!!
why do they tip toe around jaron is it because hes a handsome boy whos  dad had a  judicial post on the island. why did they hurry and arrest two black men with very little evidence when they knew the 3 boys were the last ones seen with her.   jaron was underage to be drinking and yet you blame natalee.  bush shouldn't get involved but aruba should.

11/17 The Search for Natalee and Amy

You say you are in support of the boycott because you feel they are protecting certain people, who you think are guilty.  Funny thing is same thing happens everywhere, but it's because it's a 'cute blond, energetic, and young' girl she gets all this media attention.  I just don't think people are looking at this clearly.  There are plenty of criminals in the world who's crimes are covered up, and it's not NATIONAL COVERAGE.  Is it because there is a young, wealthy, white, american girl involved?? Makes me wonder.

why isn't this case solved. is it because of a young, wealthy, white, aruban boy whos father was in a judicial post? makes me wonder.

11/17 The Search for Natalee and Amy

In response to rmforbes who wrote:

"Ever since hearing that revolting story told by the Dr. Phil investigator about finding a woman tied to a bed, with a large nail driven into her head, and while in convulsions men have SEX with her while she DIES - this has been a burden on my heart and soul."

I am haunted by this also.  I have shed tears for these children every day since seeing Dr. Phil's show on Natalee and Amy.  I shed tears for all of these children, all over the world.  My mind wanders to dark recesses where unimaginable and unbearable thoughts consume me.  I imagine children who are crying out for their mommy, but their mommy can't save them.

To think that humanity has come to this.  It is a horrible shame.  An embarrassment.  There is no worst beast on Earth than human.  My saving grace is knowing that ultimately, JUSTICE will give back to these children all that they have lost.  Their souls, their dignity, their sanity.  How horrible I feel to think that these children won't get justice here on Earth.

As you can all see, and I feel no shame in writing how I feel about this matter, I have been affected tremendously.  My  mind has been spinning and spinning about what can be done.  Prevention comes to mind first.  The ultimate in prevention would be microchips embedded under the skin that can track a child's location.  This idea is very much "revelations" like though.  And I would assume that ultimately, kidnappers would search for and remove tracking devices...  I can't find the solution.  Does anyone have any innovative ideas?  Does anyone reading this think I am overreacting?  It is truly what I feel.

To Staff

Just wanted to let you know that yesterday, Tue the 22nd, on Regis and Kelly, they were giving away a trip to Aruba. Someone might mention to them that they should give that a second thought. Thanks, Have a good day.

Why should this show not give away a trip to Aruba?

Washington does not even support the boycott against Aruba.

11/17 The Search for Natalee and Amy

Quote From: saggirl

i to would like to read more from the aruban papers about what they are doing. i haven't seen anything posted here. and i have had no luck with doing searches. i understand this persons frustrations when it comes to people getting mad at natalee's mother. i think any good mother would fight like she is doing for answers.

There have been some posts with information about/from Aruba.  You may have to look back a little.  It will take searching as the majority of the information on this board are from the "pro-boycott" side.  It also will take searching via Internet engines because of the nature of the way that the Internet posts information...there are a lot of factors that determines what gets posted "first" and depending upon your search criteria you will get different responses.

Good luck in finding a balanced perspective.

Perhaps my memory fails me

I seem to remember the body of a  young lady found  many years ago, lived next door to Kennedy relatives, last seen with Kennedy relatives........... Justice was eventually rendered, but HOW MANY YEARS did it take?
Even, apart from that incident which came to mind reading the above comments, it must be remembered that although many of the USA oublic ahve foiund these 3 boys guilty, the legal premise is innocent until proven guilty.
We all would  love a speedy resolution to all investigations, world wide for all citizens.  Unfortunaltely, that is not the case.  USA also has many unsolved cases of murder (where there is a body and a crime scene) to missing people ( missing without a trace).... and just look at the shows on TV that show the fascination with these themes.

confused

I have been a supporter of the Holloway and Twitty families and felt the a boycott was the right thing to do but I am a little dismayed. I saw Beth on Greta and when she was asked about the life insurance policy on Natalee she said there was never a policy taken out yet the night before Dave Holloway was on another news show and said there was a life insurance policy taken out on Natalee whan she was three. This is not the first time there have been conflicting statements from Beth and Dave. What is going on?  Why is Beth hididng the fact that there was a policy taken out on Natalee? She also was not totally honest about the money she has received. She said it was from fundraisers but she didn't say anything about the money that people have been mailing in. I am getting a bad feeling about this. I'm afraid Beth is losing credibility and hurting this whole thing.
